Blue Hanoi Inn Hotel

Wonderfully clean, our room was amazing. We opted for a suite and the room was amazing, spacious and well illuminated, the bed we humongous and incredibly comfortable. It was also really quiet considering how centrally located the hotel is. As we'd selected the honeymoon suite our room was nicely decorated with petals and swan shaped towels with a complimentary bottle of Vietnamese wine included too! We had a balcony that was a little lackluster as it was devoid of furniture and a little small. However we didn't mind. The location is great for old town with bars and restaurants all within easy reach. The staff were great and we were able to leave our bags safely while we waited for our transfer in the afternoon.

Our room was on the top floor which was perfect as we couldn't hear the busy traffic in the streets outside. There was a breakfast room on the same floor which was closed but we probably wouldn't have used anyway. Complementary tea and coffee and water was nice. Location was good, down a quieter road with a couple of coffee shops, if a little strange with a few motorbike repair workshops. But within walking distance of the main tourist and lake area.

Bed was a bit firm as is the case of most of the accommodation in Vietnam. Apart from that overall happy with our stay.

We stayed here in early January, we were travelling with 3 teenage boys and were in two rooms, we knew this was the case when we booked. The hotel and both rooms were clean, tidy and all the facilities were good. The rooms were quite spacious. We arrived from the train at 5.30am and although we could not check in at that time, they were happy for us to leave our bags with them. The location was great, it was off the really busy streets, and we were able to walk to the old quarter and the lake. There were lots of cafes and eateries close by. The staff were so lovely, helpful and attentive. They were able to provide advice and help us book transport, they were a pleasure to deal with.

The location is excellent. Quiet yet accessible to many eateries, cafes, coffee shops and the key attractions such as Old Quarter entrance, train street, Lake, Dong Xuan market, etc. We didnt make use of any Grab taxi service at all. The rooms ending with digit 2 were more spacious. Good selection of cable TV channels. Friendly and helpful staff who could communicate in English. There is a lift in the hotel. The hotel exceeded our expectations.

Super professional staff, clean comfy room and the perfect location for exploring the old quarter of Hanoi. The room had everything we needed for a few nights and was also really quiet at night, we really didn’t hear any other guests during the daytime either.

Small issue with toilet not flushing when we checked in late at night was quickly fixed the next morning.

I like the service. The room that I get do not have good ventilation because of the backyard window. However, the staff allowed me to change my room. I stayed two days. I stayed two different rooms for two nights. The Halong Bay tour from the hotel is also pretty good. They gave me discounts and the tour was amazing.

Some rooms do not have good ventilation system. Therefore smell is not good and it makes me tired. They shoould put a wall fan for rooms that do not get sunlight and that has backyard windows.

Loved everything about the Blue Hanoi. Wonderful staff, welcoming and friendly. Special shout out to Nancy and Sofia. Great recommendations for restaurants from them and always a nice chat in reception. . Excellent location in Hanoi, but still peaceful at night. The room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom with everything in good order. Thank you for the free room upgrade - much appreciated! Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are coming to Hanoi.

Nothing to dislike or complain about!

It's hard to imagine better value for money than this place. Very nice staff, clean rooms, everything in working order. Excellent location if you can handle all the tourists, and an air conditioner that really boats out the cold air (plus windows that open wide of you prefer fresh air).

The bed could have been a bit softer, but more importantly the pillows were overstuffed with some kind of synthetic material that I really didn't enjoy. Why not feather pillows? Too expensive, maybe? Anyway, this was a sleep-affecting issue, and the reason I'm not giving the place a perfect 10.

very friendly staff! we had a wonderful and very big room on floor 7 with a great view. very comfortable bed. fresh linen and towels. shower was great. the hotel has a very good location: in a quite street but in the middle of the center. some very nice cafes in this street and at the corner one of the best pho bos in the city! :-) we can highly recommend the hotel.

Ideal place right in the middle of Old Town but hidden away on one of the few quieter roads around. The room itself was excellent, very clean, everything worked properly, and the bed is as big as it looks in the pictures. The staff were really great too, very helpful and always around if needed, arranged for us to stay an extra night with no bother.
