Nice old building, renovated with a bit of charm about them. Our room was clean, bed was very comfortble. There is a service station across the road for snacks. Nice coffee shop 50m down the road right out the door Best pizza, '1000 and 1 pizza' or 'Mille et une Pizza' turn left out the door heading away from town and same side of the main road. Great pizza and all services included in price!. Walk a bit further down and there is supermarket on the opposite side, under the over pass.
Still a like: Old walled town is very close, its just up hill if you're there a few days walking. We liked walking down to the water front on the way back to hotel.

We have stayed in this Hotel many times and we always enjoy ourselves. It’s a short walk to everything Old Quebec has to offer. The room is updated with a fantastic shower and the parking is directly across the street (pay to park).

The property is very close to the train station which made it perfect to take the train from Toronto to Quebec City. The view from my room was the docks and the Saint Lawrence river. The hotel is older but the room is very modern but quirky in a favorable way. There was no breakfast available in the hotel, closest place as a couple of blocks away. You are in walking distance to everything in old town but it is all up hill. I am older (60 and a little heavy) and I was able to walk to the top of the fort so most reasonably fit adults can walk any where in under 30 minutes from the hotel. I did not go downtown so cannot comment on that. The staff were amazing at the hotel friendly and quick to speak English as soon as they know you do not speak French. I found everywhere I went the people were friendly and quick to speak English as soon as they knew your preference. I highly recommend the property to stay in old Quebec City
The restaurant in the hotel was closed Monday to Wednesday. One night I made the mistake of standing to close to the door of the restaurant near closing time and the staff rushed to lock the door. I ate at 2 Quebec style restaurants and I would say these were the 2 worst meals I had, both were poorly cooked. All other restaurants were great, stick to the non themed restaurants would be my recommendations. There were so many, I am sorry I did not get to try them all.

the hotel is well situated in the old port. There is a small amount of street noise as it is adjacent to a fairly busy junction. It is extremely easy to walk from it to visit the historic centre of Quebec and there are abundant good restaurants (and an excellent cafe for breakfast) nearby. Parking was extremely easy in the private adjacent car park for $20 a day.
It is a little souless and for the price lacking in minor detail (e.g. it would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room). Although soundproofed, the was traffic noise in the night. There is no place to have breakfast on the premises.

The hotel is located in a very good area, quite close to the train station and not far from the city center/old town. You are also within walking distance to the port, so it's a nice place for an evening walk. The staff at the reception was very nice, the room had a good size and the bathroom much bigger that we expected (also had a bathtub). You also have a coffee machine in the room, a fridge. Very close from the hotel you have a cat coffee shop, very interesting concept and lovely felines.
It would have been great if we could have opted for breakfast in the morning.

Great location to explore Vieux Quebec. Super convenient to access the train station as well. We just rolled our suitcases down the sidewalk. The staff had no issues holding our suitcases for us after check out, which was also nice.
The room was really small and oddly arranged. There was very little room to open luggage. However, it’s an old building so that’s not unexpected. Although the hotel has an elevator, there were a few steps to the front door which were awkward to navigate with luggage. But again, old historic building, it’s going to have quirks.

Sam, the front-desk clerk, was terrific. He was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. He helped store our luggage when we arrived before the room was ready, brought us clean towels and gave us some tips about Quebec. A great representative of the hotel! The Esso quick shop across the street was very convenient.
The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable, though they weren't awful. No maid service. The clerk on the day that Sam didn't work wasn't very helpful. Minor point; The TV was on the side wall, not facing the bed.

Great location for getting to both Old Town and St. Roch. Sidewalk cafes and restaurants on Rue St. Paul in both directions and next door. Nice ambience compared to touristy Old Town (although Old Town is beautiful). Would stay again. Although it was a bit of a difficult trek, climbing the hill was worth it to be able to easily access St. Roch and river for walking. I loved this hotel. And attached French restaurant was very good.
Full Cable TV.

Super friendly staff, updated and cleanness of the room, flexible checking in time (we arrived a few hours early in rainy day front desk lady said our room was ready and let us checked in), all made our first ever Quebec City trip comfortable and memorable.
it’s heritage (old) building so while I understand owner’s effort to modernize interior, there are some “design flaw” evident. For example the bathroom heater is only few inches away from toilet seat. We can’t sit straight on the bowl (and we like to think we are slim); room has enclosed window so we can’t open it for fresh air.

Hotel was walking distance from Gare de Palais train station. Also walking distance to Old Quebec shopping areas (so long as you don't mind a short uphill portion). We were very please with the hotel accommodations but the real shining star was the hotel restaurant. Only open Wed-Sat or Sun, we ate there Wed evening and had best meal of our trip. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait and we were not in a hurry.
