Hotel Manoir Victoria

We were in room 401. It was much more spacious than we expected for an older hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The entire hotel was very lovely and well maintained. We overlooked Rue Saint Jean which was wonderful. You can hear the musicians and people and it feels very alive and energetic. The location is great for walking all over the city, it feels very central to the biggest attractions. The pool is fairly small but it's a pool so that was great for the kids. The sauna was very clean and appeared newer.

We overlooked Rue Saint Jean which was wonderful most of the time but could also be loud. Better windows would help with the sound and black out curtains would also be nice as it was very bright as soon as the sun came out. We had to get new keys to our room twice during our 4 night stay because they stopped working - a bit inconvenient. The biggest down side of our stay was waiting 35 minutes for the valet to bring us our car. He moved very slowly and brought a car out of the ramp every 15-20 minutes. It shouldn't take this long. It was frustrating as we had tickets and then felt rushed.

Everything went well except below. We were only there one night which was too little. Location was excellent and the bike race happened on the day we were there. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was pricy but I think that is because of the bike race.

We had to catch a flight early in the morning and were unable to get appropriate help with our luggage or a cart to do ourselves. We ended up carrying heavy suitcases down a flight of stairs because the elevator to the bottom floor area is not renovated for guest use.

On our second night the fire alarm went off at midnight. The evacuation procedures were not marked very well anywhere and things ended up a lot more chaotic than they should be under these circumstances. Neither were any instructions given over loudspeakers as to what to do nor explanation given to the guests when it appeared to be a false alarm. The following morning upon checking out we had expected some sort of apology or explanation but it was never talked about again.

The hotel was 10 min from the train station and inside the Old Quebec. Easy to find. Very close to the restaurants, stores and all the visiting places. Walking distance to all the sightseeing places. Our room was big and comfortable.

It didn’t offer cleaning service unless required. But it was mentioned during the booking. At the entrance there is a big stair and no elevator. Also, we had to carry our luggage up. When we left the girl at the reception said she could call a cab, but after 30min waiting we had to call an Uber. No taxis available.

Size of room and bathroom.super nice location. Staff are wonderful so warm. Clean and beautiful place.

Noisy construction on the lobby. You are still using plastic on the bathroom for shampoo and soap. We stay only 2 days and the cleaning lady put new soaps and cream when they were used only few times, it’s not necessary to clean room and Change towels for only 2 nights . Plastic on the coffee buds . No sustainable policies 😔😔😔. We all need to do our part to decrease garbage and reduce water waste. Super expensive parking

Very clean, extremely friendly staff, perfect location. Easy valet parking. Affordable price. Cafe downstairs and adjacent restaurant both from Chez Boulay are perfect, lots of dining and shopping options within a block or two. 5 minute walk to Chateau Frontenac. Pool is clean and well maintained, rooms are quiet and spacious.

Limited pool hours. It would be nice to come back in the middle of the day during cold/rainy weather to take a break at the pool with the kids.

The Hotel Manoir Victoria was in an excellent location and very easy to find. The hotel staff were excellent and very welcoming. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. There was a large amount of space to store your clothes and suitcases which was another plus.

There were a large number of steps to get to the reception and it wasn't obvious that there was an elevator. Having a number of large cases to carry up these steps was a little difficult.

Location was perfect! Front desk staff especially the older gentleman on the desk was so fantastic and very helpful! Very pleasant & so sweet! Our Doorman was also very nice & helpful. Beautiful large Deluxe room was absolutely perfect & very comfortable!!

When we asked for table for 2 to have a refreshment, the server at the restaurant was rude, in her response, not nice at all.

For a really nice hotel, the hallways often smelled pretty bad. Also, the steps to get to the lobby are a lot to handle for some people. The people at the front desk were hit or miss. We got contradictory information depending on who we asked. They were less helpful than I would expect at hotel of this caliber.

Great location to walk towards any direction as it’s in the centre of popular spots. Everywhere I went was walkable in 15 mins max. Lots of restaurants, coffee with bakery, spots to sit outside and have a break nearby. Hotel is also cery new and clean inside. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Room was not visited by maids and I had to take the garbage bag outside after second day so it’s emptied. Fridge is not pre-filled and I had to ask for water bottles. Would be nice if it’s already there after a long day from travel.
