Manoir Sainte Genevieve

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone that wants to stay in Old Quebec City. We had a beautiful view of the Chateau De Frontenac. The room was spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet.

The bathroom left a little to be desired. It was clean but the shower was extremely small and the old tiles had stained grout - which made it feel dirty - but it was clean. The sink and counter was outside of the toilet and shower area. We were there for 2 nights and none of us chose to use the shower.

Superb location only across the street from Chateau Frontenac, and a brief 5 minute walk from Quebec's National Assembly. Perfect if you plan on exploring much of the old city. Room was cozy and the bed was pretty comfortable. I had some trouble figuring out how the room door lock worked, and the kind lady in reception helped me out. Very friendly service!

Room wasn't too spacious, and I thought the price point was a little steep given the room size. However, pricing was to be expected given my stay coincided with the opening weekend of the Carnaval de Quebec. Amenities were fairly basic, although a kettle and coffee machine was provided in-room, along with soap in the bathroom, which I found to be more than satisfactory for a weekend trip.

location was excellent, 5 minute walk to shops restaurants, the chateau frontenac.

room could have been cleaner. the bathroom ceiling was peeling, grout was mouldy, hair in the bath drain. dirt under the couch and behind the bed. there should have been more coffee pods. the wires for tv fridge should be put together and tidied up, the plastic wrap was still on the fridge.

We walked to everything. Beautiful park and boardwalk out the front door and a historic fort behind the building.

The person working there tried to unlock our door and come in for a blanket without knocking first. Later we left the TV on because it was so difficult to figure out in french. It was turned off when we returned later. Don’t know if she let herself in and turned it off or not. Room was not serviced so what would you think?

Location was excellent and it was Very quaint and clean. The staff and owners were so welcoming and friendly. Nice touch that rooms have nespresso machines. The rooftop patio was a Nice spot to have. Morning coffee. Great views of the chateau Frontenac

The bathrooms in the rooms are very outdated and need a Refresh. Took a While to get the a/c in the room to work. Had to wait until 6 pm for my room to be ready

The room was small but the king bed was very comfortable, Yannick was very attentive and assisted us with extra coffee and a corkscrew. The view was fabulous. The location was perfect! Small little manor type accommodation, no amenities to speak of, but everything is so close! There was a mini fridge in the room as well as a Nespresso machine.

The bathroom was really small and the towels also very small, however we made it work. Would have preferred a more luxurious and bigger towels. Not much storage so you're living out of your suitcase. Perfect for a weekend!

It was a VERY comfortable room. Like, the most comfortable room I've ever been in. Soft bed, good curtains, working AC, surprisingly quiet at night and fantastic location. Easy check in/out.

The shower could be cleaner. And under the bed was gross (there were headphones from the previous tenant and loads of dust!). No cover on the duvet.

Suzanne was so hospitable when we arrived. She greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay very very much. She was so helpful. The hotel was charming and in a very good location. Close enough to old Quebec city locations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I would have liked a traditional coffee maker with hot water and the ability to make hot tea. The water pressure in our sink was very very light. However the rest of the room was perfect.

Location was great. I have stayed there before.

I didn’t like the room, it was in back of the main house, quite plain. They gave us that room because there were three of us and we each had our own bed. But I would have preferred one of the rooms in the main part of the house where the decor is traditional and lovely.

The location was perfect! It was in the heart of Old Quebec City. Everything was in the walking distance: A park directly in the front of the manoir, and you’re able to see an amazing view Levis,QC as you take a 2 minute stroll to the Dufferin Terrace boardwalk, a lot of restaurants and scenic places well within the area. The manoir was self-run meaning there wasn’t a receptionist on site when we arrived which is okay. There were very clear simple instructions on what to do.

As the name implies, Old Quebec, the buildings were a bit old, which made them absolutely beautiful. This was no problem at all, we loved that! but our room was a bit small (I’m not sure about the the others) We didn’t mind it, but it’s something worth noting for people who may be travelling with kids. This manoir is more suited for a single traveller or a couple who is not uncomfortable hearing each other in the bathroom.
