I genuinely enjoyed absolutely everything about this motel - from the customer service at check in (the guy who served me was so welcoming, we even had a bit of banter about the facilities as I asked a few unexpected questions), the process at check in (so quick and easy), the cleanliness of the room was beyond exceptional, the amenities in the room itself (we stayed in the King Spa Suite), the bed was a 10/10 (so comfortable, soft yet firm, pillows to match or softer ones available), we had access to our own private outdoor patio area, so it was nice to step out for some fresh air yet have some privacy as well. Even though I didn't get to use the spa trust me when I say this won't be my last & only stay, I will be back!

One thing I will mention, even though we only stayed the night, I wouldn't have minded possible access to some sort of a self-contained kitchen, as big as the suite was, a little 2 burner stove would've suited the suite perfectly. Specifically if I wanted an extended stay but in saying that, there was a restaurant about 200 metres away, a cafe about 1km away & a short drive to other restaurants or fast food drive-thrus in town. This does not hinder the overall experience at all, we were very happy travellers.

The resort is in an excellent location & only a short walk to the beautiful beaches & lighthouse. It is a 5 minute drive to the main shopping areas in Ballina or Lennox Head. Facilities are clean with well kept gardens & pool. The room decor is similar to most country style accommodation and suited my needs with a desk, tv, comfy bed, bar fridge and microwave plus utensils as required. I will definitely stay here again.

The restaurant was closed however the staff advised us of this on arrival so we could make alternative arrangements for breakfast and dinner.

Stopped over here on the way north for 3 nights. Excellent motel. Close to many east Ballina local attractions. Excellent size room. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of areas to sit and relax as well as a tennis court. Plus the pool. I can recommend this resort as an excellent place to stay.

Close to beach, great for whale sightings, lots of food options, as well as easy access to neighbouring towns and beaches. The staff in particular were proactive, friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed a comfortable staff including all the available local amenities and businesses.

Honestly, nothing.

The location is fantastic - close to centre of town and beaches. The receptionist was so lovely and accommodating and the beds were so awesomely comfortable - was like a cloud.

The pool needs maintenance- pool floor looked dirty even though the water was clean. The sauna was also closed which was a shame. The recommendations for eating out were welcomed but some of the contact details were wrong - something minor but an easy fix for tired travellers.

It was a lovely place , we had been there before about 8 years ago. We didn't do too much or see many people around But we did do our own thing visiting friends. Loved the pressure of the shower.

It was getting a bit dated. Lights were very dull or bulbs blown. Could hear all the noise from upstairs but that I guess is common. Unfortunately it rained the whole time so didn't see where the beach was. All in all we only wanted a place to sleep so it was great.

My fiancee and I stayed in the king suite with spa bath. The room was clean, the shower head is massive, the spa was spacious, the bed was the most comfortable one i've stayed in away from home and the staff were lovely.

The wifi kept cutting out making it hard to watch youtube and netflix.

We knew the area quite well, re location which was the reason we picked it.It was close to the beaches and a bit quieter that the others.

While we enjoyed our stay, we thought the place looked a little tired. Everything was clean but the grounds we thought could use an upgrade.

The room was spacious and clean although a bit dated. The beach is across the road with easy access. My only complaint was that I had to drive to go everywhere. There are no places in walking distance for me to go to dinner or breakfast to my liking and the restaurant at the resort is closed because of staff shortages.

The room was well appointed, clean & the beds were very comfortable. Great size TV. Close to everything we needed. The staff were so friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. We will definitely be going back!

Unfortunately the restaurant had not opened back up yet, so had to go into town each night for dinner. Also, no breakfast available. no proper tea & coffee making area, had to use the sink area of the bathroom
