The room was lovely. Views amazing. Central location. Comfy beds

There was no plug to the spa and my sons carer only realised an hour and a half before check out therefore ruined the idea of parting after a morning spa. My 30 year old visually impaired son, who is also autistic had quite an outburst and took awhile to calm down adding to his challenges. He only agreed to stay there because of the spa. So that was disappointing.

The unit was excellent. View of the river from the balcony every morning while eating breakfast was very special and a delightful start to the day. The unit had all the extra appliances that made for a hassle free break - dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. Air conditioners were great for those humid nights!!! The fridge/ freezer had a chilled water tap and a ice cube maker. Both worked brilliantly. The bedrooms were a good size and the main bedroom led out to the balcony. Both the ensuite and main bathroom had plenty of room. The ensuite had a spa bath. The kitchen, dining, lounge flowed into one another and connected with the balcony which had a large bar table and bar chairs outdoor setting. Heaps of room and storage space throughout the very well organised, uncluttered unit.

Something you cannot control!! The garbage truck emptying the bins at 5.30am on Friday morning. 🤣🤣 Luckily we needed to be up ready to go - so in a way it was a good alarm!!!

Great view and location, close to shops, beaches and the river. Great place for kids with fishing at the river, a park, and a swimming pool at the hotel. The apartment was roomy and the bathrooms were great with a spa in the main ensuite, kitchen facilities were good.

The double beds were too small and in need of replacement, at $400 a night they were a bit of a let down and made it hard to have a good nights sleep. Both showers needed new washers and were impossible to stop dripping, in the climate that we live in now people need to be aware of water usage and ensure there's not wastage.

I liked the well sized room and good sized bathroom. Clean towel, bed was made.

Had a shared balcony, not private. Toilet had not been cleaned, basin had toothpaste, shower mould around bottom edges. Only supplied one towel for 4 days stay. No housekeeping. There was a fly in the kettle. Booking.com allows an early check in, on payment we were advised only late check in available. Had to pay an extra night stay to cover 4 hours. No smoking on arrival when booking said it had smoking areas.

The location was wonderful. Within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, river front, RSL and coastal walks. The Red Wok Thai restaurant downstars was exceptional (dined there twice during our 7 night stay)

The kitchen was not very well equipped with basic needs. E.g. larger glasses for drinking water, small coffee cups etc.

The apartment is spacious and has everything for a very comfortable stay. Free internet and a variety of choices on the TV such as YouTube, Netflix etc was an added bonus. The extra TV in the bedroom was a good addition. It is in the middle of Ballina and is easy to get into and out of . Easy access to the main traffic routes for exploring the area. The indoor swimming pool is great especially during the cooler months. Woolworths is next door .

As we only stayed for a short time there was nothing that stood out.

Big apartment with everything. Big balcony with river view. Laundry facilities handy. Baskin Robbins and Thai restaurant downstairs got a work out. Actually used the pool this time too.

Blinds or thick curtains to block afternoon sun coming into living area where TV is.

The apartment was excellent and spacious.

I was expecting a full frontal river view but unless i was out on the verandah my view was mostly of the Woolworths car park- better decsription needed Also the toilet in the room was old and really stained- needs replacing.

Convenient location for shops, restaurants, pubs etc in central Ballina. Water front and bbqs/park just across the road. Rohan on reception easy to deal with and happy to help

Occasional noise from the dumpster trucks early morning from the back street.

Spacious, renovated, clean, quiet, self contained apartment, good view, handy to restaurants and supermarket. Generous free wifi. Easy after hours check in. Helpful friendly reception. Got extra kitchenette and bathroom to what was booked.

Musty smell initially improved with opening doors and putting on air con.
