Lismore Wilson Motel

We had an overnight stay at the Wilson Motel as it is situated close to relatives we were visiting. As the Wilson was affected by the 2022 Lismore floods, we were very fortunate that the Motel was open. Obviously renovations are on going, but we had a lovely comfortable room and bed, and the bathroom facilities were great. Thank you for a lovely stay, and a great breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious and satisfying, very friendly staff made us feel welcome, bed was very comfortable, facilities catered for our needs. The location was pretty quiet which we enjoyed.

The shower door got stuck a few times, had to apply a bit of force to get in and out of the shower.

Everything was clean, spacious staff were very helpful and made our stay warm and inviting rooms were well set up and amenities provided we loved our stay

Absolutely nothing was 5 star quality would highly recommend staying there and will again in the future

A mix of older room with some newer updates, cleaning good, would like to have seen some grout cleaning in the shower area. Loved the large rooms, plenty of tea and coffee available, given two small bottles of milk and 2 bottles of water on arrival. Most only give you one milk which is barely enough for two cups. Comfortable bed.

A couple of small issues that I will bring to the attention of the management as they may not be aware of the problem. Not a huge issue.

This motel presented all that a good motel would offer. Rooms were clean, large and basically furnished.

Rack rate offerd of about $175 was very dear. Even Bookings discounted rate of about $158 was too dear. I would rate this place at $130 tops.

Unfortunately The Motel has been washed out by The Great Floods of 2022. Through no fault of the Motel, (Booking.com get your act together please) we were still able to book a room even though the Motel had tried to remove the listing from Booking.com to no avail.

Central location with parking just outside the door. Arrived early and was able to check in before time. Awesome water flow in the shower.

Some road noise as motel is located on the hwy.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and our late check-in wasn't a problem. Our room was clean and comfy with plenty of good amenities.

It was all good. We didn't have any complaints.

The room was clean, well laid out, the bed and armchairs very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and supplied with toiletries.

The person on reception was dismissive and told me I should have booked directly with him. We were not given any breakfast menus to fill out had we wanted breakfast. He was however very friendly when we checked out.

Clean and comfortable. Good facilities in room like cutlery and a toaster.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like a tractor and the showerscreen door would not close properly
