Loved the location. Right on the shops in town where I needed to be. It is also within 2mins walking distance to the bus interchange where I needed to catch a bus back to Byron Bay. Comfy bed, Double glazed windows which was a great idea by the owners as the windows look out onto a rusty roof with big air conditioning units. Once the windows are closed you hear nothing. Nice clean bathroom, and bed linen. Bar staff were friendly when approached about the accommodation.

Would like bowls and spoon to eat breakfast cereal. Microwave could be useful too, could fit on top of the fridge. Keycode stopped working on the third night and I couldn't get in. The bar staff came and reset it without any problem which was great! They were so helpful.

The room was small but very clean and comfortable. It was secure with coded locks which I appreciate when travelling alone. As a coeliac, I loved the gluten free menu available from the hotel.

I couldn't order a meal through the online system as it had been turned off but there was no way of knowing that, much of the menu wasn't available (the kitchen had run out). I did order from the bar and a meal was delivered to my room but as I had showered and put on my jim jams, I had to get dressed in order to wander down to the bar. I also had trouble with the air conditioning so just opened the window.

Great option for business or leisure travel. Location was great with plenty of on-street parking, was very convenient to have the pub downstairs with good food options. Bed very comfortable and room good size with good desk / work space in the room. Old building beautifully renovated, friendly staff

Neither is a big issue, just feedback. Would be good to update the room service menu with kitchen opening hours; I rang up to order desert just after 8:30 but the kitchen was already closed and there really isn't other options around for food at that time. There is a note next to the shower saying the hot water takes a while to heat up, it took 15+ minutes to heat up (during winter stay)

We stayed in the apartment on top of the Sherwood pub. The rooms had separate entry and electronic locking. Parking was good. Room had all needed facilities including TV, Free wi-fi, Dining table, dishwasher, fridge, Washing machine, kettle, cook top and oven, toaster, cooking utensils, glasses, knives, chopping boards, plates, tea, coffee, milk etc. These were very useful when staying with kids/family.

The room entry codes will be active only after the check-in time. All facilities were not listed in the booking site. So had to make some alternative arrangements before journey. It would be better if you could list all facilities in the booking sites.

Excellent location, Great size room. Bed was very comfy. Massive kitchen with washer/dryer. Very handy having the pub downstairs. Food was great. Had no issue with finding a parking spot.

There was no microwave which was disappointing as we were staying for 1 week. The room had no allocation to hang anything up. No full length mirror. Be prepared to hear the house music from the pub till they close.

Great location. Good value for money. Comfortable, clean room with excellent eating choices downstairs.

The contactless entry was a little disorganised. We’d arranged with the owner to drop off some items at a specific time, but when we arrived there was no-one there and the phone number provided rung out several times.

The hotel is close to all the local shops. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable and are really good value considering the location of the Hotel. We also decided to book a table at the restaurant downstairs. The meals were delicious and the wait staff were quick and friendly. We intend on staying at The Sherwood Hotel again when we return to Lismore in the future.

The room was very comfortable, great air con and facilities, and above our function area. The food and mock tails were excellent, and staff were wonderful. I’ll be staying there again at our next function.

Nothing needed improvement considering the location, convenience, and price.

Great location. Big, clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Great restaurant downstairs accommodating our gluten free and dairy free requests. Excellent value for money.

Location, quiet, privacy, air conditioning, pub facilities. Very, very friendly helpful staff, particularly the cleaning lady that chased us to the car park with our pillows we brought from home. Super!

Broken blind, once down had to stand on chair to roll back up. Could do with some bedside lights for reading by- seems to have power points available for this.
