Motel is operated by a local hotel with staff, reception and book-in located at the hotel just up the road from the motel. Once I worked out these admin arrangements, all went well. Staff very helpful. Room was clean, quiet and provided all I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Well located being close to shops, eateries and the parent hotel which, in itself, is a good quality hotel/pub. Reasonably well equipped if self-catering but parent hotel also offers good meals.

Just took a short time to work out reception and book-in arrangements but no real problems. Be aware that vehicle access is one-way. No problem with this but you do exit onto a different street to what you entered on.

The location was perfect for out stay and close to all amenities. The food options available at the hotel met our needs. The room was very well laid out and roomy. We were lucky to be upgraded which was very appreciative.

The noise from outside, although not on hotel premises it appears they were people who had just left the hotel and were just talking and yelling quite loudly on the pavement. We had access to the balcony with others which was great, however other guests would sit outside our window talking loudly and smoking - this prevented us from opening our window or curtains.

We had a great stay at the Motel, what we saw advertised was exactly what we got, and I'm very happy to give this glowing rating, I cannot fault the motel in anyway it was comfortable and very clean.

We did not find anything wrong with the Motel to complain about it my standards are very high and the Motel was exceptional, and the extra bonus was having the Coles Supermarket next door, a great extra indeed, plus even with the Supermarket being situated next door it was still very quiet, I can't fault the Motel by any shape or form.

The location was excellent right in the main street and within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants/beaches/wharf. Although right next to a supermarket there was no noise from there and it was very quiet at all times. The seat out the front was great for sitting in the sun. Also had a nice little bbq area.

As I have a synthetic fragrance allergy the room had been sprayed heavily with air freshener - in particular embedded in the carpet. (Any bags I had on the floor all soaked up the smell and had to be aired once home.) The light outside the doorway was very bright (understandably a security/safety feature), as were the lights from the supermarket and as the curtains did not stop the light at night the room was lit up.

What a little slice of sunshine this place is. Whilst the bones of the buildings are 1970s - what seems like a very recent renovation have made each room modern contemporary accommodation. Each room has its own bright outside colored wall and door - ours was lime green at room 7. Every bit of the 70s is gone and replaced with very clean welcoming rooms with bathrooms and kitchen areas that were a very pleasant surprise. The location is so convenient to everything in Eden - including a Coles next door (but you don’t hear). Our early (1pm) arrival couldn’t be any more welcoming by the staff who pointed out the best places to dine and see during our stay. 10 out of 10 for value for money - thank you for making the last 2 nights of our coastal escape before returning to Melbourne the best out of all our accommodation venues. The pillows were the best - best night sleep for 2 nights. Thank you.

We loved everything - but if I needed to list something to nit pick - the parking out the front of rooms is a little tight with a low garden bed hard to negotiate plus the exterior lights (which go out around 10pm) make it hard to darken the room for those that like to turn in early. The curtains just need some creative placement to block out the light.

Even nicer than the photos. So comfortable, modern and clean. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. We were arriving late so they made it very straightforward for us to collect the key from a security box after hours and provided us with all the info we needed prior to arrival. Great location in the town, close to everything. Really scenic little town with a great vibe to it. The beach is amazing too. Would definitely stay again. You won't get better value for money anywhere else.

Very clean and good facilities.

The code provided for the lockbox with our key in it was incorrect and I broke my nail below the wick trying to open it. The staff initially suggested it was our fault. She lamely apologised at the end.

The room was very well appointed and comfortable. We had a sea view (but it wasn’t a great view). Friendly staff. The location is very convenient to shops (not just Coles which is next door), restaurants, pubs and the local tourist attractions.

We were a bit underwhelmed by out first sight of the motel which is tucked in beside the Coles supermarket however we soon overcame that when we saw the brightly painted motel buildings and found our room.

The location was great, right next to Coles and some lovely cafes and shops just minutes of walking away. Overall it was a lovely stay and would stay again.

I didn't receive the SMS with details on how to access the keys as my phone had no reception upon arrival and staff wasn't picking up the phone. I recommend the text to be sent at least 24 hours earlier along with an email too.

While we were staying here we received news that my father had passed away. The staff were absolutely amazing. They gave me a big bunch of beautiful flowers and refunded us our extra night as we had to leave a day early so we could travel to attend my dad's funeral. On one of the most awful days of my life I really appreciated the kindness of the staff. Thank you.
