South Seas Motel

The room was great and well laid out, quiet and clean - even a partial view of the water. An easy walk to restaurants and shops made the weekend really enjoyable. Check-in was easy, and in the time we were there had no interaction with staff as our stay went so smoothly

The kitchenette was not stocked with a tea towel or dishcloth - I think it was forgotten when the room was prepared and no one was around to remedy it. I just used the hand towel provided in the bathroom.

The location right near the shopping area was excellent. The owner, Sally, was very friendly and acted immediately on any requests. The room was a good size and met our purposes and had designated parking outside our door. Clothes washing and drying facilities were available. We loved her two groodles Ziggy and Tully who were adorable and exceptionally friendly. The outside garden areas and pool area are beautifully maintained and are a great place to relax. We thought it was well priced for what you got.

a couple of minor matters - the small freezer compartment in the fridge in our unit had no cover and nothing could be frozen or kept frozen. The water temperature in the shower on some occasions was a bit variable but we could live with that.

Location is very central, facilities are great. Room was clean and spacious, bathroom was a good size with good water pressure. Kitchenette for basic cooking (we just did breakfasts and ate out otherwise but you could cook more fulsomely as there is a microwave and a small cooktop). Bed was comfortable and the rooms come with AC and fans - great for the humid weather! Pool and pool area were big hits with the whole family. I stayed over the Australia Day public holiday and there was a breakfast BBQ put on for guests, which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back!

Always really clean lovely people work there we have stayed here before and it's always clean they are currently doing work on the pool area and gardens which will look fantastic when completed we will be back to stay again.

Nothing that we didn't like only maybe our ute is big so parking in the designated spot was a bit tight

Very convenient location, great campos coffee right across the road at the bakery. Nice and quiet, room was clean, the beautiful lush gardens were so nice to relax in after a dip in the pool. Tropical paradise vibes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to see the owner take pride in every aspect of the motel. Resident dogs were a bonus boost of serotonin.

The staff were amazing, welcoming, friendly, fun and full of life!

The air con but without complaining management said they will be upgrading. There was a portable cooler which made our stay much more comfortable than without one at all. A designated smoking area would be nice instead of standing in the car park. Everything else was great :) We look forward to visiting again soon. So much so, we are looking at extending our month long holiday for an extra night or two just to stay there again!

We got two rooms with verandah and the pool view - really happy to pay a little extra for that as the other rooms overlook the carpark. Pool area was nice too. Room was spacious, quiet, comfortable bed and clean. Walking distance to central town and restaurants. Great little spot to stay for a night or two. Would stay again if I had the same rooms.

There was a bit of a smell of bleach in the room but this may be due to covid and thorough cleaning. The new owner was lovely but her two dogs who were quite well behaved annoyed us up with a bit of barking.

The room was fine, bed comfortable, plenty of powerpoints. Wifi excellent, as was the location. Kettle and toaster were appreciated as was the crockery/cutlery provided.

Kettle was faulty; the water went everywhere when you poured it. The hairdryer didn't work at all.

We will stay here again - perfect for us on a visit to the coast. Very clean, exceptional staff and the rooms and bathrooms are enormous. Parking right outside the door, a little milk, tea & coffee and even biscuits - and very secure. Highly recommended.

Close to Main Street shops & restaurants. Unit was very clean and well laid out - not huge but you did not feel cramped for room. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette had all that you would need. The owner, Sally was fantastic. She was couldn’t do enough for you. The size of the car parks were big enough that even with a large 4wd there was plenty room. Would definitely stay there again.

TV was a bit small.
