Albacore Apartments

Being offered a 2 bedroom unit on an upper floor compared with a 1 bedroom studio unit on the ground floor was appreciated. Late check in was well organised and arranged via phone calls while we travelled. Secure parking on site was great. Lifts were excellent. As i am in charge of laundry duty on all of our holidays, a fully equipped laundry is always on my list of requirements!! Well done.

I don't think that the Spa was working in our unit, as per the signs, perhaps we should have asked at reception, or this should have been communicated to us as we upgraded our accommodation.

I wish to complement the two staff members I dealt with at reception. Holly and another very polite young man who was working on both Thursday 28th April and Saturday 30th April. I don't know his name but his manner was professional and pleasant. The staff at Albacore are a credit to their business.

The only thing is that smokers obviously had inhabited the room previously and while the apartments are non-smoking- an ashtray was provided just outside the room in a tiny courtyard and obviously would blow in. However the rooms were clean and after airing from the ample windows- the room was cleared.

Amazing view from a large balcony. Found the location nice and central allowing you to walk to most locations while leaving the car parked in an undercover and secure garage. Large roomy apartment which was lovely.

Initially our bed was too firm, once we received the pillow top for the bed from the Albacore team we were fine. Even though the location is central it can be a little noisy due to vehicle road noise.

Very conveniently located within a few minutes walk of the main strip of shops and eateries. Beautiful views over Merimbula Lake. Clean and well appointed rooms with an extra large living space - perfect for families.

Just a small thing - a warmer light for the bathroom (it is bright fluro white). Separate fan switch would be useful in the bathroom too. A fry pan would be a great addition to the kitchen utensils selection too.

We have stayed at Albacore for many years and just love the location, the view is stunning and an easy walk in to the main town centre. There are some great cafes and restaurants. The RSL Coral Sea restaurant is very good but need to book a time slot. If you like fishing hire a little runner and get your catch.

Having to leave to come home.

It was a perfect location, close to the shops and the lakes. Easy walk to most places in town. Secure parking was a real bonus.

We had a minor problem with the cleanliness of the the bath which was promptly corrected and cleaned once staff were notified.

A very enjoyable stay in a very convenient and picturesque spot. Secure and accessible parking. Good sized apartments. Friendly staff.

Lounge furniture - tired and providing inadequate support for a family with minor back problems. Generally the premises look to be nearing time for a refresh.

Lovely setting and a huge living space! The balcony really is the main feature, spanning the width of the apartment and providing stunning views of the estuary. Even with irregular summer weather (rainy and cold) it was a pleasure to sit both inside and out, with a couple of drinks, and enjoy the scenery.

No shower screen in the main bathroom and large mirrored doors facing directly towards said shower provide you with a good look at all the bits you don't really want to see about yourself 😅

Large spacious studio room, quiet, clean

No room service, given 2 large towels each for 5 nights - that’s 1 towel for 2 days & 1 towel for 3 days. The towels did not dry when hung in the bathroom- the unit smelt of wet towels- quite strong by day 3. Given 1 hand towel and 1 bathmat for 5 nights - both wet by day 2. Poor TV reception, no ABC, no SBS, no Ch10.

Everything 😍 absolutely so beautiful ❤️ had absolutely everything you needed and more , apartment was huge ❤️ Was so lovely and private and quiet I honestly can't recommend this place enough Do yourself a favour and stay here you'll be glad you did
