Sapphire Waters Motor Inn

Motel location was great, easy walking distance to various eateries, restaurants, supermarkets, pub and Sapphire Club. Family room was large and very clean. Bed, aircon and bathroom were great. Pool was very clean. I will stay there again. Only negative was that the manager is a St George supporter ??!, but he is nice and helpful.

really comfortable and rooms larger than average. we had a ground floor room with kitchenette and single bed for our 4 yo and it was just the right amount of space and just the right facilities to support homemade breakkies and lunches, without feeling like you should eat in the room too!

As we have stayed there before, we knew what to expect. Very welcoming staff. There's plenty of room. Nice separate sitting area and the balcony was the ideal spot for breakfast in the morning sun listening to the birds.

The kettle was difficult to fill as it didn't fit under the bathroom tap so I ended up filling it from a clean coffee mug.

Always stay here when in Merimbula. Convenient,room has everything you need and friendly staff

Comfortable bed, microwave and toaster a bonus, tv in bedroom as well as lounge, towels and linen high quality, location, parking convenient, room was changed from upstairs to downstairs because of mobility issues, very clean and tidy, swimming pool but unfortunately not the best weather to use it this time.

We were disappointed not to have Foxtel etc for children's viewing. No shelves in the refrigerator in one of the rooms a bit awkward especially as it was the family room.

Large suite with ground-level entrance, a comfortable QS bed, renovated bathroom, useful kitchenette (jug, toaster, sink, microwave, utensils and plates for 2), table and chairs, lounge, 2 televisions, reverse-cycle aircon and a balcony with a reasonable view. Generally quiet room despite the motel being on the main road. Excellent location within an easy walk of the town centre and jazz festival venues. Adequate on-site parking. The room was clean (although see comments about the bathroom).

Wifi was very slow and effectively unusable. The bathroom had no external window and smelt mouldy (although there was no visible mould) and the ventilation fan in the bathroom was too noisy to leave it on for prolonged periods. There were intermittent rumbling noises from the floor above - not sure what was causing that (possibly people wheeling bags along the access walkway to the rooms above).
