Narwee Hotel

Nice room. The separate private bathroom was no impediment and the reason for such a great rate for this room compared to the other rooms with a connecting bathroom. Bonus points for providing a kettle, with lots of supplies including an abundance of long life milk in the fridge, and 2: bottles of water. And a toaster. Not that we used it, but sometimes it's great to have the option of making your own breakfast.

For some reason the shower water was beautifully hot for about 5 minutes for my partner's shower and the start of my shower and then suddenly cold. I was soaped up, so had no choice but to persevere with a freezing cold shower. Thinking that since we were later risers on a day off the water ran out. But then after 3 minutes, without explanation the hot water returned. This occurred both mornings, and the second morning we rose early, so there appears to be some weird quirk of the plumbing.

Honestly, this is an above decent place to stay for a couple nights especially if you plan on going into Sydney via trains. It’s a great budget friendly place for young couples who plan on spending lots of time in the city during the day and only really need a place to safely lay their heads at night and still have a good time. There’s a bottle-o just a few meters away and plenty of Uber eats places that will deliver to the motel. It’s cute and plenty of space, not the nicest place I’ve stayed at but meets the standard of safety to be honest and the rooms are tidy. There’s like three doors you have to go through before getting to your room. Air con in the room and what really drew us to this place was the personal bathrooms! YES! A BUDGET FRIENDLY PLACE SOMEWHAT NEAR SYDNEY WITH PERSONAL BATHROOMS IN THE ROOMS! The train line is directly across the street. Literally a two minute walk; if that. Getting to Central from this station takes about 30 minutes which to me wasn’t too bad, as I said if your young and need just need a place to safely put your stuff and lay your head while you have fun in Sydney and want personal bathrooms then this is your place. They also accommodated us for our early check in and change of date request rather quickly which was awesome! Clean beds. No bed bugs and best believe we checked so that’s also great lol.

Not the most disability friendly, probably not the best for wheel chair users (especially if you are a full time user and can not walk) as there is a staircase you have to go through to get to the rooms upstairs. The rooms are over all tidy but a bit dusty (I assume from the carpeted floors) and as someone with a pretty severe dust allergy it wasn’t the best stay for me, my husband however who does not have a severe dust allergy was able to sleep fine. He uses a walker/rollator however so as long as you have someone to help you up the stairs and take your rollator up you should be okay for the most part just be careful as you always should be going up stairs.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. I was not meant to check in until 2 p.m., but my flight forms overseas arrived early. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to get me a room just after midday, which was perfect because I was so jet-lagged and just wanted to sleep. The hotel had this nice smell and I really wanted to know what it was. The room was the right size, and your own bathroom toilet located not far away, outside of your room. I had dinner down in the hotel restaurant, I order the rump, chips, salad and mushroom gravy, the portion was just right and the meal was delicious and the price was decent. The price of the hotel for one night was really good, and the location even better, with the train station across the road.

Maybe I didn't look when I booked but just the fact the your toilet/bathroom is not in your actual room, but, despite this, it was still nice that I had my own toilet bathroom, which only I could access with my room key

Loved the bed with my daughter thank you so much just 1 problem tho coz i have health conditions with my legs would of been nice if you had a lift for those who cant make it up to the stairs i find that really hard was walking uo the stairs as i jave my joints not as strong as normal so if you could get a lift that would be awsome!

oh the stairs they too high and too many for those with health condion lile myself. And also please are you able to provide a cooler water for everyone to refil their water bottles instead of using the tap in the toilet but would be so greatful if you should jave a cooler water downstairs or just outside the hallway of the rooms so everone can refill their kettles and water bottles.

For price you pay this is excellet option for people looking for hotel close to airport between evening arrival and morning departure. Direct T8 train from airport leaving every about 15min (look for trains stopping at all stations, fast train option going the same direction does not stop in Narwee) with travel time not more than 17min. Price for train 1AUD is unbeatable, fast, reliable and convenient. If you have more time, you can use the same T8 train and get easily to city center! Night checkin around 11pm was no problem, hotel staff fiendly and helpful, room nice, clean, with Aircon/heating, coffee, tea, milk and one small bottle of water available in fridge. No noise from restaurant.

We got room facing train station and main road, it was quite noisy whole night, earplugs needed. I reccommend everybody to ask reception if they can provide rooms facing oposite side, they have such :)

Very convenient, across the road from Narwee station, on the airport line. Rooms are clean and modern, and there was little external noise. Fridge with free bottled of water and tea/coffee making materials. Bathroom is quite large with a good shower, not shared, but located a few metres down the hallway. All in all, great value.

For the price, not much not to like.

My stay in the hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was exceptionally helpful and supportive. I was assisted with all my questions and requests. I was able to have a very good rest after the long trip. The location is great. The facilities are great too and you have everything for a good rest after the ling travel.

The internet was interrupted from time to time, but this minor issue would not stop me from staying at this hotel again.

Close to the train station. We had room number 6 facing it. Private bathroom and nice fridge with coffe making options.

Window would not close. Wind blew in. Train noise was easy to hear. Door was not sealed to the floor. We had a cockroach under the sink last night. This was not nice. Everything else was fine.

Overall a good place to spend a few nights if you need to be in this location. Parking is convenient, good size rooms were surprisingly quiet and spacious. Beds very comfy, shower was good, tea and coffee facilities a welcome bonus, even biscuits!

The only negative for me was the check in process. There is no motel desk/reception area. We had to ask at the bar, then a man appeared who took our details and left us standing there while he disappeared with our credit card and licence to process check in behind a locked door. It was 10 pm so not sure what the day time check in process is but it was a very uncomfortable feeling, especially when the number one rule of credit card security advises that you NEVER let shop assistants or staff take your credit card out of your sight to process a payment!!! Really guys, you cant get a better system?????

The cleanliness was excellent, couldn't fault how clean it was. Plenty of tea & coffee in the room. Excellent shower recess.

The man checking me in was a bit rude. Yes, I know I have to show ID and a bank card on check in but these are documents I don't approve of having out of my sight but he took them away where I couldn't see them. All other places I go see these and use appropriately in front of me. With a disability, I have issues going up and down stairs. As the only way to the accommodation was up a flight of stairs, I did have some trouble ascending and descending, particularly carrying a bag.
