Food was great

The bed is too small for two ppl. One sheet of quilt is not sufficient. It is better to arrange two single beds.

We chose this as it is located out of the city so much cheaper, and 2 minutes from train station so perfect for getting to and from airport and city. Nice room, clean and well supplied. Although next to a busy road and above a bar/bistro we were never troubled by noise. The bistro served lovely meals, well priced especially at lunchtime.

We stayed for 6 nights, and had to seek out staff to ask for replenishment of toilet roll, toiletries etc, and for rubbish to be removed. Bedding was not changed, we did get clean towels after 4 days, but the bathroom was never cleaned. As this was our first stay in Australia we may have misunderstood what was on offer, maybe this needs to be made clearer.

Food pub location staff cleanliness

3 PowerPoint's in the wall were not working. Only had 2 PowerPoint's to use for my lap top and charging my phone. The desk chair seat was broken, the table lamp was broken it wouldn't stay up on its own and can see the wires . Need a microwave in all rooms

Location was very good, 2 mins walk to Kingsgrove station. Woolworths was a short walk. Couple of coffee shops nearby. Also good restaurants within walking distance. Pub below the hotel was very nice.

1. Found few of the staff rude - making faces, pretending not to hear. Overall dissatisfied with the staff. 2. There was a fan at top of shower, which had the same switch as the light in the washroom. So the fan will go on if you switch on the light. It was a problem for number of reasons - (i) it wasn't clean, there were heaps of dust stuck on to it and (ii) taking a shower during a cold morning was a nightmare as the fan made it very cold.

Paper scraps & dust behind furniture. Not enough functional hooks in the bathroom. Difficult with heavy luggage getting up stairs

Perfect location for access to Sydney CBD without the expense of CBD accommodation - 2mins walk to train station, 20mins train ride to CBD (also via airport). Bedroom was good size, with desk and chair (also with second soft chair, but crammed in between wall and bedside table, which made it less practical to use). Good, updated bathroom. Restaurant and bar. Good Thai restaurant in vicinity (as well as pizzerias, Chinese restaurant, fish 'n chip takeaway). Bakery and coffee shop around the corner. Two pool tables.

The bar is basically a sports bar, i.e., several screen showing dog and horse racing, rugby, with running commentary. May not be to everyone's taste. Restaurant/eating area further to the back of bar (less sport, less noise).

Great location, excellent food, friendly staff and super affordable! The bistro downstairs has very tasty food and good portion sizes. Staff are super responsive and polite. The rooms are very clean and perfect for a few nights! Newly renovated and looks spotless. No frills or fancy but clean, tidy rooms and excellent location.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable and the check in process was confusing. You need to check in at the Bistro bar but wasn’t told that prior to my arrival. The check in was quick and easy but would be great if you could email and let people know ahead.

1. Great location, just a few minutes’ walk to Kingsgrove Station. Takes about 15 min to International airport and within 30 miinutes to town centre, 2. Staff is great and helpful I had issue with tapping out at the train station. They let me call from the reception counter as my SIM doesn’t allow voice call. 3. We arrived around 1:00 and they arranged for us to check in early around 1:30, 4. Quiet room and no smoking smell at all,

1. Difficult to fill water kettle straight from the tap as the washing basin was not deep enough, 2. open door shower results in wet floor in the toilet after shower

Location excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, parking faciliies a bonus, I felt very safe on the nights my partner was in hospital especially being able to park so close and coming back to hotel at night time alone. Meals from the bistro were very well priced and delicious.

A couple of repairs needed in the bathroom, towel rail broken and tap suround in the shower just sitting there. Need a new clean toilet brush. This in no way spoilt my stay, I just thought I would mention it because you asked.

Such a convenient location! Right by the train station. Within an hour of major shopping centres/Sydney. Cafes, chemist, and grocery shops within a few minutes walk locally as well! Clean, comfortable.. couldn't even hear any goings on from the pub below over our weekend stay. Toiletries for use all smelt great too.

Only faults were towel rail easily dislodged itself from back of bathroom door. Small maintenance issue, very mild inconvenience.. and our room windows faced apartment block windows adjacent so wary of being looked upon with blinds up.
