Location was great- right outside a tram stop. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and lockers were provided, the rooms were cleaned daily and kept to a decent standard. Room checks were done, checking aircon was correct etc which was really good. Toilets were cleaned regularly and really clean- nice showers, very spacious. Kitchen was clean. Lots of room and loads of seating. The fridges were a bit full. Also the free breakfast was good and refreshed regularly. Overall really good value for money!

The fridges were too full, could have done with some extra food storage space.

Location was superb especially if you are travelling to explore Sydney. 3 min walk to Central Train station, Tram is literally infront of the hostel! Aircon was superb! We even found it a bit cold, but better that than hot! It is perfect if you are a backpacker or traveling with friends and you are young. Mark you that the bathroom is not inside your room (just like almost all hostels) so make sure you are AWARE of that. NO issue on us on that one. Just had to wake up a little early to shower or shower the night before. They were very accomodating. Just want you all to remember that this is a Hostel not a Hotel. 10/10 <3 Would book again!

One thing but it was not much - the fact that the bathroom was on the other side of my room. Twas funny eventually but not bad.

Good thanks. Wasn't expecting free breakfast. I brought my own porridge though! Good systems for security and appreciated being able to leave luggage between checkout and airport. Staff were very helpful to me. Room quiet and people were nice. Enjoyed kitchen chat. Great location

I missed the common room. Maybe it wasn't operational? Room 608 had beautiful clean windows on one side but filthy on Other side. Probably too hard to clean? You don't have free food cabinet like Blue mountain yha of stuff people leave behind. I don't like waste. No one separated food from recycling or rubbish

Friendly and helpful staff! Location is on point! Close to train stations that will take you back and forth to the airport and tourist destinations. Free meager breakfasts and pizza (on fridays), comfy bed, decent bathrooms and a laundry room to boot, good enuf for me. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in town!

I wasnt made aware where the fire exits were, the kitchen being in the basement. Or maybe I just didn't see the signage. Some comments I read about guests really don't apply as they're not part of the place, cmon!

Beds were comfortable and clean. Rooms were clean and temperature cool. Lots of space for my stuff in the lockers. Excellent location close by to all transport options, as well as food places and shops. Bathrooms were clean, showers were surprisingly good. Good value for money

Kitchen felt a bit sad, some of the hobs aren’t great but not a huge issue. Kinda strange smell in the kitchen, again not a huge issue though. People in general aren’t very social but I still made friends so it can be done

Great for a hostel/backpacker. Fantastic location right near Central Station and tram lines. Right outside the edge of Chinatown and Market City, and can easily walk to the other main parts of the CBD. Friendly staff and comfy beds. The wi-fi was good and connected well.

Only one small elevator that services all guests so it’s pretty slow. Even though I was on the fourth floor, I took the stairs the entire time. Not too big of an issue for me personally, but it might be for others. Only 2x showers and 2x toilets for the females on my floor. Personally didn’t run into any issues with having to wait, but again for other travellers, just be aware.

The hostel just right at the Haymarket tram stop and Central station only 200m away, very convenient for public transport. Short walking distance to Chaina town, Thai town where you can find Thai food, some Thai Convenience shop open 24 hrs with ready to eat food anytime. Lots and lots of restaurant, pup food, cafe, bar with variety of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mediterranean etc. Townhall just 10 mins walk or 2 tram stop. You can take a tram from your door step to Opera House in 15 mins or less.

Every thing as expected or better for the hostel except the high price for the backpacker !!! but it's normal price for Sydney CBD.

Super good location. Breakfast was basic. Rooms had good soundproofing, large common kitchen, TV room. Staff did best effort to clean up and organize after dirty lazy guests. Activities night a fun bonus. Staff tried to be helpful and listened

Really slow elevator, kitchen lacked large glasses, pots needed fixing, stove tops not working. Not really the fault of the place but trash, compostables, recycled mixed up. Could do more signs and such organize. Ditto for dishes not washed or being left in sinks - see above for ++s

Breakfast from 6am and later checkout than most hostels! Female only showers/toilets. Nice big kitchen. Free dominoes one evening and plenty for everyone!

Unfortunately, I had to move rooms one day due to an issue with the air con, so this was a bit of a hassle as I had to be in the hostel at 11am to 'check out' and pack and move my bags to another room. So bit of a waste of a morning

It’s close to every thing you need. It’s a good location. They clean on time and everyday. Staffs are commendable and kind. The TV room was a good place for me to work.

It would have been better if someone is serving as the breakfast thing in thr morning, some guests takes more than for a one person so the other guests will get no to little bread. You just have to go early in the kitchen to get yours otherwise you can just buy your own.
