The location was amazing, central for us to everything we needed. Big rooms, go to have to double beds in the room.

The bathroom was too small, had to sit sideways on the toilet as the wall was in the way. There were no towels in our room on arrival. The shower was too close to the ceiling.

The bathroom very small. Shower taps in a hard to get place. Your hair got wet trying to change the settings. No teaspoons provided for coffee making facilities. Housekeeping needed to be improved when providing tissues towels etc. bath did not look clean

The property wis well maintained. We paid a little more for an upgrade and were very pleased with it.

There was only one chair in the room. We are an elderly couple and find it uncomfortable to have to sit on the bed. It meant only one of us could use the bench.

Location, we caught the train to central so it was a very short walk from the station

Housekeeping didn’t replace my towel at all over the 3 night stay but replaced the other guests.

Check - in and out did not take too long, staff were friendly and helpful, nice functional room with a South view and clean bathroom, good buffet breakfast selection, price of the breakfast has stayed the same for a few years so it is quite reasonably priced now. Room was serviced every afternoon.

A few big marks and chips on the hotel room walls, would benefit from some cosmetic attention. Lid was broken on kettle, plug missing from the bathroom and swipe card did not work to operate the lift initially but staff promptly attended to all of these issues and fixed them. Was able to adjust the air con temperature in the room but could not turn the air con off.

Loved the location, and clean comfortable rooms. Really can't go wrong for the price. Easy access to rest of the city as close to Central Station to get trams. Great for cheap eats in Chinatown. Room was clean and functional.

These would not stop me booking again. We had a room with an interconnecting door - we could hear next door very clearly- every conversation/sneeze etc. Would ask for it not to be interconnecting next time. Had to keep asking for towels and cups for the third person in the room. This was not a major problem but just something for housekeeping that if the room is set for 3 people to ensure there are 3 towels/cups/glasses etc. Including replacing 3 when rooms are cleaned. Otherwise , thanks to housekeeping for lovely clean room and made beds 😀

Excellent location. Close to Central Railway Station, Chinatown, Pitt St Mall, the light rail. Reception staff were very polite and obliging. Beds very comfortable - had great night's sleeps. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money.

Housekeeping was a little below what we expected. Our beds were not made on our second day. Coffee and tea items were not replenished, but reception staff provided them for us when asked. No bathmat or face washers (perhaps they no longer supply them???) No deal-breakers but it wasn't up to the standard we had experienced before. I would still stay in this hotel, the positives far outweigh any negatives :)

The property was in a good location for our stay to attend a wedding, there was a good pub up on the corner and Coles nearby. The bed was comfy, the room quiet and a lovely buffet breakfast.

After checking in we waited for an hour for a room to be ready as the linen had been delayed and when we got into the room there were no towels or pillowcases however we were given free breakfast vouchers which was appreciated. The next morning only 1 of the 3 lifts were working when we had to get to the wedding and being on the 12th floor with people checking out was very slow, however staff came and took us in the service lift which was very nice of them.

Our hotel room was for 3 singles, and The Metro Harlow was perfect for us, as it was across the road from the Capitol Theatre where we had booked to see a show. We were able to walk to Central Station. The light rail was nearby, and it was a short distance to Paddy's Market, Chinatown and Darling Harbour, as well as being in the city, close to shops and restaurants. It was an ideal place to stay for a group of ladies over 70 years. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a buffet breakfast was available to purchase each morning. There was a good choice of food, both hot and cold, and juices plus tea and coffee. We loved it and will stay there again when we travel to Sydney.

There was little storage space. It didn't bother us as we were only staying two nights, so didn't need to unpack.
