Location at Darling Harbour was great - we had a great view of the fireworks which happens several Saturdays a month and we were lucky to be there yesterday. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

I didnt like the check in - we arrived early and waited til 3pm ( the official check in time) but were made to queue again behind like 13 families. They did open more counters and the line moved fast but perhaps, they could set up a counter for those who had already checked in and just needed to be handed their access cards?

Great location, great value for the money considering it's in Sydney, room was comfortable enough, staff at the bar downstairs was great!

We stayed for 14 nights - and not once did anyone check in with us to see how things were going. Often on our floor there were piles of bedlinen etc left all day, bits of rubbish flying about left behind by the cleaners. On arrival, we were asked to pay again even though we already had paid, after 36h on planes it wasn't great having to find CC statements to prove that I had paid - only to be told "oh I see it now". To then make an attempt to upsell us a "better view room" was just terrible - considering we were booked for 14 nights they could have offered it for free. Left a bit of a bitter taste. Rest of the stay was ok, never heard from any staff at all.

The property was much better than described or what reviews said. I guess I’m glad I went in with lower expectations because I was pleasantly surprised. Pilots and air crew chose this hotel. Business professionals met here for conferences and those at leisure like us having fun chose this hotel. It was sophisticated and our king room overlooking the harbour was clean and prepped daily. It’s not an expensive Uber to circular quay and walking distance to darling harbour restaurants. The Zephyr bar upstairs wasn’t as loud as described in other reviews even on Saturday night. It’s expensive but it’s to be expected I guess for the view. We only stayed for a drink but thought it had a nice vibe. **We were so incredibly pleased with the breakfast. I’m not sure why there are not more positive reviews about this, many many options and stations all over the room with different assortments. They greet and seat you and bring whatever coffee you choose to your table. We really appreciated the professionalism and pleasant demeanor of the staff as they treated us like we were important. You don’t always find this.

Wish the properly was at circular quay but it allowed us to spend time near darling harbour

I reckon the front staff could tell their client about all the features in the hotel. I just came to know on the last day that I had a choice of skipping bed cover change for the day. But, due to constant replacement of bed cover, the cleaness was over the roof!

I would say the location. As a NSW visitor, I was not familiar with the location and city transportation (e.g., trams). I think it would be wonderful if you could have like an app for a map with all the attrations and transportations such as tram numbers though TV as this may help future visitors for a better experiences in Sydney. (Maybe connecting the app on TV to client's moblie to download the transport info and the destination, so that the client can view the destination without 4G when they go out. I had a trouble with turning on the map when I was walking in the city as I was not familiar with the city. Turning on 4G consumed a lot battery on my phone and one time I lost my way at night because my phone ran out.)

Overall the stay was great. Room was comfortable and warm with comfortable bed. Harbor view room had a great view of Darling Harbor which was great for Saturday Night fireworks. The Jackleberry restaurant was amazing with wonderful service.

The in room breakfast was very expensive and the ordering application was a little confusing as I thought I was getting tea and coffee but on got tea. Visited the Zephyr bar for a couple of drinks on the last night and was told it was table service but didn't receive any service, when I finally got a drink they cleared the drink without asking me if I wanted anything else.

We loved the quiet location of the room with a fantastic view of Darling Harbour with a comfortable bed and the room was very clean. Location to the City, Darling Harbour and the many Restaurants at a short distance were a bonus.

After driving around Tasmania for 14 days staying in good accommodation with lots of cupboard space we looked forward to unpacking our suitcases for our 5 night stay but the big room only had one cupboard with no draws and limited hanging space due to the fridge and kettle at one end of it. So we lived out of our cases. We would still go back. Also why leave the outside doors open to the Bar and eatery and experience the cold wind and cigarette smoke coming in while eating. This was necessary to have a meal at after arriving after 8.30. The burgers were good!

the rooms are modern with lovely furnishings, there is coffee and tea making facilities and the view of Darling harbour was great. the location is very central and walking distance to great restaurants, ferries and shopping in the centre of Sydney. Parking was easy and very close. the Zephyr rooftop bar was spectacular with amazing Sydney views

There werent any restaurants actually opened within the hotel but we ate at the Jackalberry restaurant attached to the hotel and had a lovely meal also the bistro bar which we received a complimentary drink for was not opened for us to actually use the voucher.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Sydney hotel and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The hotel's location, right in the heart of the city, was a major highlight for me. Being centrally located meant that I had easy access to all the attractions, restaurants, and shops that Sydney has to offer. One of the great advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the Big Bus tour stop. As a tourist, this was incredibly convenient as I was able to explore the city with ease. The bus stop was just a short walk away from the hotel, making it convenient for me to hop on and off the tour bus whenever I wanted to. The rooms at the Hyatt Regency Sydney were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The comfortable beds and modern amenities made for a pleasant stay. The hotel also offered a range of dining options, from casual to fine dining, all of which provided delicious and high-quality meals. Additionally, the hotel boasted impressive facilities, including a fitness center and a rooftop pool with stunning views of the city skyline. These amenities added an extra touch of luxury to my stay and allowed me to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Sydney hotel. Its central location, proximity to the Big Bus tour stop, and excellent facilities make it a great choice for anyone visiting Sydney. While it may be slightly more expensive, the quality of the experience and the convenience of the location make it worth every penny.

While the hotel offered a fantastic experience, I must admit that the rates were slightly on the higher side. However, considering the excellent location and the quality of the facilities and services provided, I believe it was worth the price. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay.
