Location, location, location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We received an upgraded room which allowed us to spread out. We liked the kitchen but really only needed the fridge, some cups and spoons. We liked the coffee downstairs, unfortunately we couldn’t bring it up to our room. However coffee table in the room was sufficient. Very quiet and private.

Laundry piled in front of the elevator. There were a lot of tables and chairs in the room so it was crowded. In particular the coffee table was something of a hazard. And we had trouble getting to the dining table because of proximity to it.

Suite had more in it than I thought, such as a washing machine and tumble dryer, all included in the price, powder and liquid were also provided, so it was easy to catch up on some holiday washing before we moved on. Dishwasher too and powder from reception, also tea and coffee and milk provided top ups from reception were readily and friendly handed over.Ti The cafe place downstairs was brilliant, really lovely food, good service and freshly made, very popular with the locals which I always think is a good sign! you could go and get a fresh breakfast and then bring it up to your room if you prefered to do that or eat there, we did a mix of both.

Friendly staff. Great location. Refreshment at lobby. Spa, pool & sauna. Value for money. Walking distance from everywhere in cbd. Kitchen in the room. More like a few cabinets and a sink and a stove though, but it was what i needed anyway. I did not cook. The microwave was handy. Had all the dishes, etc that i needed.

Not very clean, acceptable for the old building. It is being renovated atm so hopefully it will be ok after that. A bit noisy because of renovation and street but it did not affect us. No problem with elevators.

The room had a comfy bed, plenty of space to hang clothes and a decent if slightly dated bathroom. But everything worked in the bathroom and the towels were ok. Room overall was fine for our 6 night stay. I hadn’t asked beforehand about the best train stop so it’s Town hall if you come in from the airport and walk down Druit street to Sussex st. There was a kitchen area with microwave and fridge plus cooking facilities. I had to ask for an extra bowl as we had breakfast in the room but only one bowl. Staff brought one up for us. Room was a little warm but eventually I worked the air conditioning so it became cooler. Discarded the duvet as it was too warm in the Sydney heat!! Tv had subtitles we couldn’t remove- slightly annoying. But we found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Used the pool once- a bit cool and the tiles need a good clean round the edge! But the situation of the hotel was perfect for town hall and darling harbour!! View was of busy streets but we didn’t care too much about that. 15 floors up? A little noisy at times but amazing speedy lifts- brilliant!! Not much noise from other rooms or residents which was good as the hotel was busy.

A tv without subtitles?

The room was lovely, we had a small kitchen, a dining table and sofa in the room with a large king size bed. A small balconette, you could open the sliding windows and stand out to watch life in the Sydney streets. The bathroom is amazing, I want a toilet like theirs at home, all electric, with built in warm water bidet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I couldn't fault their service. Although they don't serve breakfast, they are joined to a lovely cafe and you get a discount if you show your room key.

The decor in the corridor to our room is in need of a lick of paint, I believe the hotel is in the stages of refurbishment (our room was lovely) so hopefully this will be decorated soon. The pool and hot tub could also do with some repair.

1. Staffs are helpful and friendly. 2. The location is close to Town Hall station so it's convenient. But that's a really steap hill so if you bring a lot of luggages it might be difficult and tiring to walk down or up. 3. Room is small but has natural sunlight and also equiped with lights that are bright enough for work or etc.

1. The hotel is still under constrction so you can smell the paint or feel the dust in the hallway or elevator. 2. The hotel locates near a big intersection where a lot of cars passing, so it might be noisy during the night for people that are sensetive. 3. Room space is enough for one person but will be small for two. Not really have a space to open a big luggage.

Location is fantastic, right in city centre and walking distance to everything we needed. Room was a great size, and perfect for our family. Kitchen had everything we needed to make basic meals for our toddlers. Big fluffy towels in the bathroom and a laundry, too which was great as we have 2 small boys who attract dirt!

The mattress of the queen bed was so uncomfortable it was difficult to sleep, it was so hard, like sleeping on the floor. The building has recently been taken over by this company and they're in the process of updating rooms. Our room (901) had not been updated and felt tired, grubby and dated. The cleanliness was ok, but dusty around the edges of the room. I really regretted moving a bed (so our toddler was against the wall) as under the bed hadn't been cleaned in a very very very long time. Disgusting. Our room overlooked the junction of Sussex and Druitt streets. The windows were only single glazed and the traffic noise was a bit of a problem when trying to settle young children to sleep. Maybe during the upgrade better windows will be installed with sound proofing?

The room itself is wonderful. Spacious and well decorated. Air-con worked a treat (hot days). Bathroom is generous. The separate bedroom was great. The blinds blocked out all light at night. The kitchenette had a lot of good crockery etc but one wine glass was cracked (we advised). The gentleman on reception when told it was my Mum's 80th birthday gave us a lovely bottle of champage which we enjoyed (thank you!).

The pillows were a little firm. There were no spare pillows.The glasses in the cupboard were not clean but we washed them. There was no tea-towel provided. A cutting board would be nice but not critical. The hallways esp. near the lifts are VERY narrow and during cleaning times it is hard to get past the trolleys but not a big deal. The paint in the hallways is very chipped and lots of spots showing signs of wear.

Moderately priced for quite a large room with cooking facilities. Great location near the harbour and shopping district. Friendly staff and quick service. Pool/sauna/spa and gym was also a pleasant surprise.

Included breakfast was an $8 voucher to a cafe next door (which was a good cafe and v busy during peak hours), but didn't include basics, like coffee. Tight hallways, which were often crowded by cleaning. Room had balcony, but door was bolted shut.

Comfortable, clean apartment with a good location in Darling Harbour. Walking distance (about half hour) from Bridge and Opera House, and other direction to Town Hall Station. We were upper floor which had great views, and the washer dryer was very handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A bit pricey - but that's big cities for you. Renovations are under way but did not bother us, they were only during the day. I suspect prices will rise once it's done!
