Clean places for the amount of people that can stay here. Good amount of kitchen equipment and space people that work here are very friendly

If you’re a solo traveler I wouldn’t recommend this place. Yes the place is clean and good enough but if your wanting to make friends and do things with people from here it’s near impossible, iv noticed they don’t have a tv room for people to connect over watching something together, no pool table that people can use to play games together, just a sitting room that plays loud music that you can’t even think over. They do “events” which iv noticed only 3-7 people go to. They have the bar next door that you can play pool at and drink but when you’re on your own you don’t want to sit in a bar on your own looking like a looser. Just that sense of community isn’t at this hostel.

Excellent location, very close to Darling Harbour. Staff were all amazing, extremely welcoming and friendly. Beds were clean and comfortable. Dorm was large and spacious with a big drawer under the beds to store belongings. Lots of plugs to charge phones although they were in the middle of the dorm room. WiFi usually worked very well. Water dispenser in the reception was useful. The female sanctuary rooms had an area outside the rooms with mirrors, hairdryers and straighteners which was great. There were lots of washers and dryers available which accepted card payment. There was lots of social activities put on by the hostel.

The main issue was the cleanliness of the property, although this seemed mainly due to other guests not cleaning their own mess. The showers often had hair stuck to walls and the toilet floors were usually wet. The kitchen surfaces and tables were usually covered in food and there was only one kettle for a large kitchen. There was rarely more than one tea towel or cloth available. However, we did notice staff making an effort to clean the kitchen and toilets sometimes but not often enough to keep up with the mess.

Super social atmosphere, scary canary is so much fun. Met some amazing people that will be friends for life. The world is a lot smaller now that I have friends from all across the world that I plan on visiting. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for my East coast trip. I will definitely be staying at other nomads locations! The vibe here is great for solo travelers. Easy location and lots of fun daily activities. Thank you nomads !

Can't fault the staff or the location here! Super friendly, social staff and some good events to meet people! Facilities are pretty good and the hostel is attached to a bar that has a great vibe! Had an issue with my initial room but the staff at Reception were so eager to help when I asked and it was resolved so fast. 10/10 service.

Washing/drying facilities need some work but the guy are Reception said they are looking to improve these soon.

I love where it is easy to get to Oxford Street and go out and a nice 18 minute walk back I definitely recommend There is also a room with games like ping pong and there are lounges that you can just hang out on which is really fun when you have too fill in a time gap

This is the second time I've stayed here and I definitely will again... Nothing really bothered me but the shower was flooded when I went to have one and I know it's not nomads fault but It would be great for there to be a bench so I could put my dry clothes and toiletries I also wish there was a small mirror in the room that I stayed in (it was a double bed room) just so I don't have to hog the bathroom to do my make up

Stayed in a room with 6 people inside on a bed bunk. Stayed for 1 night on a MardiGras event and paid 79$. I find everything spaceous, room, bathroom, kitchen, lounge - compared to other hostels i have stayed with. Staffs are accommodating. The lounge is pretty and relaxing to stay, You can leave your bags, if you arrived earlier than your check in Time. I will still come back and will try the room with 4 people inside.

Not that i didnt like, but at night you can hear the sound from the neighboring disco studio. Beds can have squeeky sound when you move. The room were i stayed was a mess inside as we were 6 people, lots of stuffs on the floor and everywhere, its fine for me as the room didnt smell odd.

Location was amazing, right in the centre. Good facilities, all clean and tidy. Felt very secure as rooms need security pass to get in.

The bunks have no privacy curtains. We tried to go to one of the advertised free weekly activities and staff didn't know where or when it was. Worst for me was the kitchen ceiling drips.

I had a fantastic experience at Nomads Sydney! The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, a wonderful place with excellent amenities and a fantastic team!

Staff were very lovely, friendly and helpful. They even upgraded my booking to a private room for a night which I greatly appreciated. Room was pleasant and clean. Communal bathrooms were clean and tidy and nice to use.

Facilities were generally good apart from the 1st floor private shower and bathroom which really needed a clean.

Location is amazing.
