The Lawson Riverside Apartments is a real find! Quiet and convenient location in central Wagga, with friendly, helpful staff and spacious, well maintained rooms. The onsite Breakfast Cafe is not currently open due to a staff shortage but I appreciated the breakfast bag (cereal, juice, tinned fruit and milk) left in my room - a nice touch! I look forward to staying at Lawson Riverside again later this year.

I raised the insufficient/non-operational lighting in the parking area with reception as I was departing. It didn't impact my stay overly but does need to be addressed from a security and health & safety perspective.

Lawson Riverside Suites were a wonderful surprise, in fact amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, beautifully furnished and presented. Nice sized kitchenette, well-appointed bathroom, with comfy sofa, and dining area. I loved the classic timber work and the luxurious soft furnishings. Everything was fantastic. Staff were brilliant and very helpful with cafe onsite. Couldn't ask for more.

There was nothing I didn't like, the Lawson Riverside Suite accommodation was excellent!!

The rooms are a good size and had all the necessary requirements. Proximity to the riverside walking trail was a big plus and a must do if staying here. Ample and well located parking was also a plus as was the quite large balcony spaces which made you wish it was a summer visit instead of late Autumn. An older building but with some character overcomes some of the age factors with furnishing and fittings. Everything worked, and the rooms were pleasant, clean and functional. Overall I rate the Lawson Riverside highly for a motel style establishment.

Although Wagga Wagga is a fascinating town and a joy to walk around, unfortunately it is very disjointed in regard to restaurants and hotels. This made the location of the Lawson Riverside problematic, any accommodation in Wagga Wagga would be the same, and just walking out and going to dinner, etc is not possible. It is however within walking distance to several supermarkets (both Coles and Woolies) which allowed relatively easy access to buy necessities such as back-up breakfast items, that we had in the room as there was nothing available nearby.

Lovely buildings and nice gardens. Reception at check in and housekeeping next morning were all very pleasant.

We didn't look for breakfast, but it would be great to have had a bar with food options operating in the evening. Really it was just a room, albeit a nice room. No reception or staff on site overnight that we saw, and no one using the pleasant common areas on the ground floor, so there's no atmosphere at all. A pity, because the buildings are quite lovely.

Large suite, clean, bed comfortable, kitchenette & a great little surprise of light breakfast left for us. Staff were great with check in, I liked the idea of keypad entry with code into room and reception after hours. River walk at the back of the apartments, nice area not too far from city centre. Would stay here again.

Everything was good

Made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the lift was a God send for my husband. Getting the complimentary coffees were a welcomed surprise and well used as we set off for our long journey back home. I must say, the coffees were very good too!!! Rooms were very clean, comfortable and loved the size of the rooms......especially the shower due to my husband having disabilities as this made it very easy to access. We have already recommended 'The Lawson Riverside Suites' to friends and family and we look forward to another road trip to see our Wagga Wagga family later in the year.

There is nothing that I could say that we didn't like. The only comment would be that the Fire Alarm went off and we were evacuated outside however it was good timing as we had just finished our pizza/garlic bread and wine before having to leave. (Apparently one of the guests accidentally over cooked the steak which set off the fire alarm!!). It was a good opportunity to chat to some of the other guests who were staying there too whilst waiting to get the 'all clear' from the firefighters to return safely back to our rooms.

I don't normally write motel reviews, but feel compelled to do so here. Lovely motel, spotlessly clean everywhere - not a speck of dust anywhere (the room, hallways, dining area) - nice carpets, everything worked, a large size room, great size separate kitchen area, decent size fridge and freezer and cupboard full of plates/utensils & kitchen stuff, super friendly staff made you feel welcome, large size bathroom with plenty of towels that were soft for a change, great valve for money price wise, a nice complementary breakfast pack in room and free coffee from dining room, which ended up as a properly made latte. Just couldn't fault anything and all for a great price and the river boardwalk just out the back.

Nothing to dislike.

Nice and quiet by the river; spacious room; well equipped kitchenette, good shower. Codepad access to room was convenient. The complimentary breakfast pack was welcome and enjoyed. It was an easy walk to the main street.

The bathroom door squeaked and lack of ambient light because it is an internal room meant bright lights had to be turned on for nighttime toilet breaks. A low level night light in the bathroom would be a welcome addition.

no restriction with parking, all open air and plenty of shade options in Summer. room was decent, bed comfy, lift provided to first floor. kmart and shops within 5-10 mins walk from hotel

the restaurant wasnt open during our stay, which was only a minor inconvenience as there were plenty of dining options, some within walking distance (in the morning for coffee for instance).

We were upgraded to a junior suite for which we thank them. After 2 months touring a little more space was great. Also the complimentary bag of (juice fruit and cereal) goodies for breakfast was much appreciated as was the voucher for complimentary tea/coffee, and needed before another 11 hour drive.

Not their fault but noisy patrons standing outside have a chat. Could I suggest a draft excluder be attached to the bottom of the doors to fill the gap and prevent noise filtering in.
