I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The amenities were top-notch, and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city. Special kudos to Hana at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their helpfulness and friendly demeanour made the check-in process seamless and pleasant. Lastly, Belle at the hotel's restaurant provided excellent service during breakfast. Overall, my stay at Argus was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The outstanding staff made my experience memorable, and I look forward to returning in the future.
All good !

When I’m in Darwin I’m staying here every time you know when you have a bad hotel experience and it ruins the trip don’t worry about that here, the bed my word is it comfy, pillows 1 soft 1 firm which I never got a sore neck from, they are generous with resupply your room with tea coffee and milk! it’s all clean no bugs here at all which can be a problem in Darwin, any issues or queries they resolve very quickly, it’s very secure, aircon is great and not loud, they mop the corridor daily and the cleaning product they use smells so good, the dunner is also so comfy makes you want to stay in bed that extra 30 mins, noise level is 0 because it’s not on main road and 2 mins away from the shops very peaceful the photos on the app and website is 100% accurate, the telly is one of those nifty ones that has YouTube and live tv which has all the good channels which is amazing! So if your reading this your looking at if you should stay or not and I highly recommend it will make your Darwin trip unforgettable!

Staff very friendly and helpful, my Indonesian wife arrived a day before me , at night they gave her something to eat and a loan of a phone charger so she did not have to leave the hotel alone .I loved the studio apartments clean comfortable felt right at home .I highly recommend
Included breakfast, but very very basic just bread , a couple of pastries and cereal .I just thought it would not hurt to at least have some scrambled eggs cooked in a warmer for people to help themselves too , But the rest of the experience made up for it , I will definitely be back

The freshness and cleanliness of the hotel + the simple decor of the large room with views out over the harbour. The king bed was so comfortable, as were the arm chairs , + the tea and coffee making area with small fridge was also very convenient. + a desk and chair . The position was very central, and we were able to walk to all places of interest within the city . Woolies about 5 mins away on foot + multiple cafes scattered around within 10 minutes walk. The included breakfast was a simple continental spread, but with a huge selection of cereals, breads and condiments etc ...more than adequate and very well attended to by smiling staff . Highly recommend this spotless and convenient hotel for your stay in Darwin .
Nothing !

Room was spacious enough, even had a mini balcony, handy to dry out swimwear in the day time, bathroom a bit small but functional, liked large square rainwater style shower head. Floors all tiles-very practical in Darwin climate, though I’ve visited during dry season. Small plunge pool with inbuilt spa was refreshing after long walks to attractions and back in heat. Bed -king size, not hard, 4 pillows to choose from, comfortable. Breakfast-sufficient if you have modest expectations, not cooked, 6-8 types of cereal, milk, tea, coffee, juices, toast, 4 different types and standard spread choices, 3 or 4 jam varieties were even in jars. Most of grey nomads were even running around with bananas in their hands. Located in quiet street, so not a lot of outside noises. Corridors were well lit late at night or in the evenings, compared to another hotel I’ve stayed in Tasmania.
Sound-proofing of the rooms: entry doors were not very solid with little gaps around perimeters visible from the corridor side, every loud conversation in the corridor could be heard inside the room. The internal door into adjacent room ( thankfully locked) had the same issue, I could hear the phone conversation next door one late afternoon like it was near me. I guess sound bouncing of all the hard surfaces inside, tile floors included.

Room good except no microwave oven or cutlery in the twin single room unlike the double rooms , which I find strange and inconvenient considering besides the bed arrangement the rooms are identical in size and have the same kitchenette, the only difference is no oven or cutlery to heat up a meal , I shared a room with a work colleague this time in the twin singles . And had to go 5 floors down to heat up a frozen meal which easily could have been done happily in my room like when I stayed on a week's holiday with my my wife over Xmas, when we stayed in the double bed room .

The room was simple, yet pleasant and modern, well-equipped with all you need for a few days and - importantly - very clean. The hotel is not exactly central but still within an easy stroll to most cites, whilst being in a quiet location. Nearest supermarket within 10 minutes, most of the CBD about 20 min (further away for the Waterfront), Botanical Gardens about 20 min on foot, Sunset Market about 30 mins. A ride from the airport about 15 minutes. There is even (unusually for OZ) breakfast included, starting at 5:30 which is a bonus for starting those long days travelling out to the wild (which is what most people come for to Darwin). Daily service was efficient and discreet.
It's good to have breakfast but it is very limited (cereals, toasts, spreads, tea, coffee, juice) and exactly the same every day, so it gets repetitive/dull very soon. Sound insulation is poor. There were only a couple other rooms on our floor, so while they were not occupied (or occupied by some quiet people), it was not a big deal, but once your neighbour decides to have a phone chat, you can follow the conversation. There are no restaurants in the immediate area (and pretty much no services at all), so a bar/cafe in the hotel would be very good to have, but the only thing they have is a vending machine with cold drinks.

Excellent reception staff who were helpfull and knowledgeable. Although there is no cooked breakfast the selection of cereals, fruit juices, bread of various types was more than sufficient to start the day. The rooms are larger than many I have stayed in and paid more per night for. The hotel was within easy walking distance of downtown Darwin (15-20 mins) Wifi was good strength and reasonably fast. Adequate TV channels for my taste. Problem with leaky aircon was dealt with within 30mins! Quiet neighbourhood.
The 6th floor balcony was only about one metre wide with one plastic dining chair- not meant for socialising!!

Breakfast was a bit repetitive...not many options but it was a good value for the money and it was good to have it open since 5:30 as most of the tours start at 6am. The room was clean and they provide all you need.
The view and a bit the position wich is a bit out from the main cbd and a bit isolated. I didn't like to walk there by myself at night.

Room was a good size. Nice little balcony. Laundry facilities great (washng machines and dryers) very welcome after a week around Kakadu. Complimentary light breakfast was more than adequate. Location is a way from the waterfront but its walkable mostly in shade. Ubers and taxis easily obtained from the hotel. Bus stop to Mindle beach (markets (Thurs/Sun) is about a 200 metre walk from the hotel. The staff happily stored our bags on our transfer day.
