I had a wonderful time at Mango House Resort! Pros: - The owner (Pam) is very kind: She allowed me to check in earlier, upgraded my room and dropped me off to the bus at the end. Her attentiveness is really the reason for 9 stars. - There were little touches around the apartment showing thoughtfulness and care: providing little soup/shampoo/dishwasher liquid (very useful!)/basic kitchen utensils... Mosquito nets in all windows were in excellent condition. - I loved the fact that when the window shutters are closed at night, it's completely dark inside! Equally you can open some shutters to let the air flowing and listen to the sounds of nature outside. - Nice gardens and pool Other info: - There's a bus stop outside (bus 860) which takes 8min to Airlie beach, which comes every 30min. You can get single,daily or 10 trips tickets. - There's a street nearby so from time to time you can hear the cars from the apartment. - If you don't drive, I'd recommend prebooking airport transfer ahead ($25 for mini bus) or taking public transport. I was unaware of both and took a taxi which cost me $105 (!). - There's a grocery store nearby (and also ATM and cafe)

Nice pool facing apartment with a comfy bed and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Easy parking and quiet location with a pub and small grocery store nearby. It was very windy there a couple nights a tree kept banging the roof keeping us awake, the manager had the tree cut back the day we told her about it. Very caring and friendly manager.

Stayed there for 11 nights and had one apartment clean only. Would have been nice for the apartment to be cleaned more say every 3-4 days.

First of all, pam the manager is very welcoming !! She helped us so much with many issues and questions! Really she is great. The pool is nice but its floor should be cleaned and then it will be even nicer. It is not very far away from airlie center , 20 mn by foot. The garden is beautifull and well entertained. The balcony with birds coming to you is a real plus!! There is a small supermarket just in front !!! The appartment was big and spacious. All in all it was a very good stay

The room and salon were very clean and agreable but some kitchen places should be cleaner and by that i mean the interior of the fridge and drawers. Moroever, bathroom should be a bit renovated by cleaning or changing the robber since it has a bit of mold in it.

The room was fairly small but well designed so that it did not feel claustrophobic. Air conditioning and a fan kept the heat and humidity bearable. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but could perhaps do with updating the shower area. Overall, a pleasant stay for one night.

I cannot comment as I only stayed the one night and did not utilise the other attractions available at the resort.

Friendly staff Swimming Pool Kitchen facilities were great Good bistro/bottle shop straight across road Bus stop right outside of motel which is useful as resort is slightly out of CBD Were willing to run us to marina to catch ferry next morning, very helpful

Sofa beds for 2 teenage kids, these beds were not very comfy for two older children would have been fine for younger children

Loved staying at Mango House; its self contained with all you need for very comfy stay. A few minutes out of Airlie Beach, has IGA , bottle shop, a lovely Tavern opposite. It was so relaxing in the gorgeous tropical gardens beside the beautiful sparkling pool. Appreciated having a washing machine & dryer and lovely balcony. The window shutters allowed a lovely breeze so we didn't need to switch on the a/c nor the ceiling fan. The shower was terrific and the bed very comfortable. Great to have free under cover car parking. We were so happy staying at this unpretentious, comfortable, affordable, boutique resort that is perfectly located to use as a base to explore the area. Owner Pam was so welcoming & friendly, very quickly we were made to feel at home. Highly recommended booking Mango House resort. We will definitely be back. Many thanks for your hospitality. We stayed at the lovely peaceful Mango house resort and it’s something we will remember for the rest of our travels. Pam the host couldn’t do enough for us. She helped us with booking our day trips, answering every question we had about what was best to do in the Whitsundays, she had a lot of experience with the trips and gave us some advice on we’re to visit on our trip which was super helpful as we have never visited the area. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for another week! She moved us to an upgraded room and allowed us to move our things when it was convenient for us. When we felt a little down on the rainer days and we stayed inside she let us borrow her board games and when visiting reception to ask her any questions we always left the reception with a smile on our faces! The pool was very clean and the surroundings of palm trees and cockatoos provided for a relaxed stay in a quieter area of Airlie Beach. When leaving Pam offered to drop us off at the ferry terminal this was such a lovely gesture and something that she didn’t need to do! Her kind nature and friendliness Is something we will always remember. Mango house was a 20 minute walk from Airlie or the bus which took 5 minutes to the town centre. The apartment itself was a great size and it was handy having the option to cook if we wished to eat-in. I know we will defo be visiting Airlie Beach and staying at the Mango house again!

Great location, very accommodating and considerate staff! Only 5 minutes drive from Airlie Beach Lagoon which is what we came for - the kids love the lagoon! Our two bedroom apartment has a very functional kitchen, we cooked all our meals at the property and saved a lot of takeaway spendings. We were kindly allowed to check out late at 11am and didn’t have to rush. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Not really dislike, but just a bit of disclaimer - with the price, don’t expect too much. It’s functional and comfortable, not superb.

Good location very quiet at night, pub & small supermarket & coffee shop across road. undercover parking . lovely gardens & pool area. Bed very comfortable.Air conditioning excellent.

we stayed apartment No 2.. toilet needs upgrade , no exhaust fan and wobbly & stained .Bathroom needs attention.No dishwashing or dishwasher liquid Or tablets.

Pam was so lovely and accommodating, and made sure our stay during the Easter was absolutely fantastic! She was very easy to communicate with, gave us lift to the town and even served us champagne by the pool on Good Friday🥂 I would recommend upgrading to poolside apartments as they are more spacious! Great place to stay for a long weekend and as a base for exploring Whitsundays😄
