We were upgraded from the room we originally booked on level 2. We stayed on level 5. The view was fantastic, right across from the beach. It was a short walk to the cafes and restaurants in Bargara. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was airconditioned and also had good ventilation from a window. The water is really soft compared to where I live. You don't need as much soap or shampoo to wash. It is also really nice to drink.

A previous guest 'may' have 'forgotten' to wash a couple of bowls (even though there was a dishwasher), that were put back in the cupboard in the middle of a stack. It left a bit of a smell. We reported it to management and they dealt with it straight away. It makes sense to check everything when you get to your apartment. The ensuite had a shower curtain. This really didn't stop water getting on the floor of the bathroom. A glass screen would be better. You have to direct the shower head towards the wall if you don't want a puddle of water in the bathroom.

The resort was very nice well kept, rooms spacious, balcony beautiful view. Staff helpful and friendly. Under cover parking, pool and spa clean and nice. Great bathrooms. Overall a great place to stay within walking distance of shops and eatery's. Great tracks for walking, right on the beach.

The only thing that wasn't up to standard was the beds, very hard they need reviewing, not comfortable at all. Bought a mattress topper but didn't really do anything. Pillows good and plentiful. Air Conditioner good in lounge and main bedroom, but really need air conditioners in other 2 bedrooms when you shut door no air conditioning only ceiling fans that don't really cool.

Was close to town, easy access to all. Nice beach front location. Our little froggy family in the main entrance were super cute. Reception staff were very friendly and professional.

We booked the sunset room. Was a bit disappointed because when you think this, you think balcony showcasing sunset. We just had a big plant and view of putt putt. Shower could do with a new head on it. Was blocked up not alot of pressure. Carpet all pulled away on edges. One guy , don't know if he worked there. A bit rude when talking to us. We couldn't smoke on our balcony but saw several others doing it. I won't give it too much slack as it was worth the costings. Just some things were sad.

Like the location for sure. Could walk to the cafe’s and beach. It was close to the water and very tidy. Loved the palms growing in the centre section of the complex and liked the fact that even though it was a studio apartment, it felt rather spacious, light, airy and comfy. Thought it was great to have a spa bath in the smaller unit.

Needs new carpet. It has a trip hazard with the frayed carpet going into the bathroom. Had only x1 drinking glass in the unit. The bathroom vanity tap needs adjusting or replacing as the water comes out very hard and fast and splashed onto the floor.

General layout of unit- very spacious and quality inclusions. Being on the ground floor gave an extra dimension to the outdoor area. Overall very impressive.

The bed. We carry a mattress topper as the bed is often too hard for us as we have back problems. This may not be an issue for most - but for us it is an issue. It would be helpful if, in a complex like the Point - excellent as it is - to indicate if you have rooms with beds suitable for people like us. I mention this as some of the places we have stayed - (eg unit at Kingscliffe Ingenia) does have a bed that we found very comfortrable.

The apartment was big and spacious. We liked that it had washing and drying in the apartment. The spa bathtub and the kitchen area were all great. We enjoyed the pool every day we were there with our twin one year olds. The beach was right there and we enjoyed going for a walk to the little stores around the area

The windows didn't seal properly and when we got alot of rain on our first night the water poured in. It was just due to sea air rusting away the window frame in some places. We were a little scared to use the glass table on the verandah aswell as it was also rusted. We had to move on of the beds to the side of the room so we could fit in a portable cot, when we moved the bed there was quite a large dirt pile that vaccums mustn't have reached. We found some pills, it wasn't a big hassle at all, just abit concerning that babies could of found them before us.

Terrific location on the water. Comfortable and well maintained studio room. Faced west so a bit warm in the afternoon but effective air conditioning. Quiet area but very close to the town area and restaurants. Good undercover parking.

Although more expensive, it would be better to have an apartment facing east towards the ocean. Better view and not so hot in the afternoons. Will do that next time.

Excellent location directly accross from ocean and very central. Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and spa bath. Friendly staff.

Bedroom had no door to close. Some mould in shower. Big aircon outlet on small veranda. Damaged fake plants on veranda. Christmas decorations still up way after New Years made it look tacky. Walk through coridor to swimming pool looks like a dungeon.

Good location. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Undercover parking.

When you’re staying for a week, it would be better to have a bottle of dishwashing liquid rather than one sachet. Found lots of dirty cutlery and plates which was probably due to the fact that not enough liquid is supplied. Staff were more than happy to resupply though when you asked for more stock.

We liked this apartment- it had plenty of space and very good kitchen facilities. Only a short walk to restaurants etc. We appreciated having comfortable couches in the living area and the refurbishing that has been done.

The rusty air con unit on the balcony is an eyesore - replacement or something to shield it from view would be nice. Similarily, there was rust at the bottom of the shower door.
