Overall i had a pleasant stay here. It had everything i needed, but being a solo traveler i didn't need much. However here you'll find a microwave, plates, glasses, cutlery, corkscrew, scissors, washing up liquid, clothes washer & dryer, air con, tea & coffee, etc. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town (i'm a slow walker) and there is a Budget/Avis branch just down the road. Plus the ocean water is only a few minutes walk. And also due to my flight to Cairns being very delayed, i arrived way outside of check-in time, but that wasn't a problem and staff gave me prompt instructions for after-hours access.

Nothing major, but there were a couple of things. The mattress in the bedroom are quite firm, which i'm not used too so it was a bit of an adjustment. And the air con unit in the bedroom didn't work quite as well as the one in the living space, but was fine. I found running the ceiling fan for a short while distributed the cool air better.

Perfect location, 5 minutes to the center and esplanade by walk and 10 minutes away from the shopping center. The staff is super nice. The studios are clean, the kitchens have everything you need and the beds are also very comfortable.

Nice spacious room on the ground floor. Well-appointed, with everything we needed for our seven-night self-catering stay. Excellent location, in easy walking distance from the Esplanade and the CBD for shopping and eating, and close to a bus stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful and able to quickly book a day trip for us that we had been unable to book online the previous day. We did not need to make use of the laundry and chose not to use the nice-looking swimming pool -it being too cold even for New Zealanders.

Our only fault with the room was with the sink tap, which was only loosely connected with the sink and therefore it took some time to get used to operating it!

Clean, spacious studio room with everything you expect and need. Very comfy bed and extra bedding/ pillows. We stayed for 9 nights so we had a surprise clean and fresh towels half way through our stay, thanks! Great tv with Netflix. The location of the complex was perfect for us. Close to everything going on, walking distance to both ends of the esplanade but not too noisy. Walking distance to everything in Cairns city itself, plus the botanic gardens and Tobruk pool complex in the other direction. We also arrived very early on our first day, and reception very kindly got us into our room nice and quick, didn’t have to wait for hours! The pool and barbecue facilities were excellent, lovely place to end the day.

Nothing really, everything about our trip was as we expected. The apartments were great.

Property is located in a really good area! The hotel itself is a bit beat up but the rooms themselves are lovely and it’s nice to have your own apartment and kitchen for self catering!

We didn’t particularly dislike anything but the pool is very deceiving on the photos! It’s only a little bit bigger than a kids paddling pool. Very small pool! Don’t book this place if you’re looking to have a swim and lounge by the pool. There’s also not easy access to staff members as there’s not a constant person at reception if someone needed help!

Comfortable stay and affordable. As many say, you do get what you pay for but it wasn't a bad stay. If you want Hilton service, pay for it. Pros: Super close to town. Clean but dated. Kitchen. Minimal noise. The beautiful cat is an absolute credit. Included internet. Pool area looked nice, but small. Didn't use it. Also didn't use the parking - so can't comment.

No shower door which meant the bathroom was saturated daily. Mosquito's outside (not their fault, it's a tropics thing), which made sitting outside difficult - just bring repellent.

The kitchen was perfect and stocked with the necessary materials to cook basic meals, which was really important to us for this trip. The area was very nice, as it was in close proximity to basically anything and you could walk to most places. The pool area was also cute and well-kept.

The aircon was not working properly when we arrived in the room, and because we checked in after hours, they said they would look into switching us to another room. I didn't hear from them for hours, so I called again in the late afternoon and they said they were unable to help resolve the problem until tomorrow. They should keep at least one security guard for help on the property in case of emergency or if issues arise because there was no staff there when the desk was not open. They resolved it the next day. But besides this, everything was great.

Location is perfect, walking distance to esplanade, cairns aquarium. Staff is excellent. Our check in and check out all smooth.

I bring my toddler with me. And when i took a bath with him, non detachable shower was really hard for me. I had a bad experience with the guest laundry. It is a coin laundry but different denominates between the washer and dryer. The washer uses $1 and $2 while the dryer only uses $1. At the moment I don't have any $1 coins but I already washed my clothes. And it was already late, so I couldn't change coins at the office. Finally I took my soaked clothes to public laundry nearby. Definitely my fault, but it would be nice if they upgrade their payment method for.the guest laundry.

Location, clean & convenient

Having to spend time and effort to do cleaning and it not being available as part of the service provided. I don’t remember see it in the property description as a requirement before booking. The whole reason why we decided to use booking.com instead of Airbnb was to skip the chores during vacation. Also the kettle provided in the apartment was really old and worn down. It gave off a plastic smell to the water after heating. The pool is pretty small - the photos in the listing are a bit deceptive

The bed was comfy. The pool was nice, only a few loungers with a couple available in the shade. Watching the bats in the trees from the patio.

We arrived after hours, and it was not easy to open the safe to obtain the key, even harder to open the door to get into the building and the apartment. Our key opened the main door, the gate to the pool and our room, yet allegedly did not open other customers' rooms. There was a bug on the bed when we arrived as the patio doors were open.
