Fantastic Location - walk to everything! Our unit was dated but very clean, comfortable and in line with the price point. It had everything we needed for the purpose of our stay.

Parking arrangement - it is fantastic that parking is available at the complex, however, it is not a case of parking in the car park numbered/allocated for your unit - you just park anywhere there is a ‘Hi-Ho’ sign on the wall. Arriving quite late at night, we found ourselves without a place to park as there were no empty parking spaces and ended up having to park in a ‘no parking car space’ which was off putting. I feel it would make much more sense parking in the allocated space that is numbered for your unit ??!

The location was fabulous, being so close to the beach and the music festival I was there for. The apartment had everything I needed to cater at home, even though I had to make a cake in a frying pan. I always make do with what I have. There is a full sized fridge, microwave, cooktop, toaster, kettle, and cooking essentials. Salt, pepper, a small amount of tea and coffee and small containers of milk are provided.

There is A/C in the living area, but not in the bedroom.

Size, location, value, well priced, close to everything, convenient to transport, numerous restaurants only metres away, convenience of having kitchen and washing facilities in the unit, off road secure parking.

Unit starting to age and could do with a freshening up. One bulkhead light out in bathroom and one in kitchen bulkhead. Needed a blockout curtain to cut the street light into the unit. Had to have the bedroom door closed to shut out light that then shut out the air conditioning.

Perfect location

The location is ideal, conveniently situated directly in front of the beach, just two blocks from the supermarket and one block from restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped with everything one might need. It is spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and offers breathtaking views from the living room. The room is very comfortable and has ample storage space, which I found to be quite convenient. There is also a great pool available for use.

Only issue we had was that we could not connect to wifi in our apartment. It just didn't work even though we tried asking. I hope they can fix this soon

The Hi-Ho were like a home away from home; good amenities and great location being right across the road from a beautiful section of beach.

Getting out of the lift there was no way, that I could see, to know which level the doors were opening on. Several times my friend and I ended up on the wrong floor, going up when we wanted to go down, going down when we wanted to go up. For those who do not stay often some clear instructions on how to use the lift would be helpful; and a number on the opposite wall when the doors open would also be helpful. This did not impact my stay nor my decision to return when I'm on the gc again, but would certainly help to alleviate confusion.

Kia ora, this hotel was in an amazing location, swimming pool on location, 4 mins from the supermarket, bus stop 1 min away. Food places at your convenience. I cannot express how good this location was!! Balconies for the views too!!!

The only thing that let it down was the premises are a bit run down. The paint was peeling and needed a refurbish, it could do with a good scrub too. Dust behind doors etc.

Nice and close to beach, very friendly staff. Bedroom set back from street so pretty quiet

Needed a better clothes dryer/rack. With no dryer provided we needed a little more hanging space, The rack had a few broken rungs that needed to be fiddled with to stay up. Room service after one week replaced things eg dish washing liquid / clothes washing powder that we didn't use as we used our own, but no extra toilet paper after one week.

Location was excellent. I stayed with my family and we had a really good time at the apartment. Staff is friendly helpful and polite. Paul at the hotel helped us with every aspect of our week stay. The apartment can not be compared with a 5 star hotel for services. But it delivers more than what it is priced for. It’s quiet, well located with nice beach front views., close to all amenities. Beach was walking distance. For kids there are walking tracks and parks. Perfect family spot. Easy to do shopping and dinning. We likely to visit again.

Nothing to dislike

The location was fabulous, across a fairly quiet road from the beach and easy walking distance to Broadbeach shops, cafes and bars. The swimming pool was beautiful and the bed was very comfy. We liked the silent fan - essential during the very warm three nights we were there. The kitchen is simple but had everything we needed.

The apartment could do with a new sofa and a nicer dining table to spark the place up, but really, it was perfect for a beach stay - nothing too precious in the apartment and we like that.
