Rooms and location of the hotel is great. But best part of hotel is the staff and service they provide. Bathrooms are big and clean. Rooms are serviced daily.

Breakfast options are very limited specially for vegetarians. We had a single option to choose from breakfast everyday. But still we looked forward for the breakfast time due to warm welcome and friendly nature of Nicole at the breakfast restaurant. Everyday she would review our itinerary and suggest place to visit and where should we go for lunch and dinner.

The staff were amazing, the hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious, beautiful breakfast. Lovely shower products supplied.

No on-site restaurant or room service available during our stay - our first notification of this was on check in, which was very disappointing and should have been communicated a lot earlier. The blinds in the rooms are terrible and as a result I was awake at sunrise every day on my holiday. The toilet paper was horrible and thin.

Room was quiet and comfortable and the hotel well situated to central Launceston.

It is not acceptable to have no food, restaurant or bistro available over a period where many of the local eateries were closed. Informing us of the restaurant closure only as we landed by plane from Brisbane and were on route to the hotel in the early evening. Leaving 'breakfast cereal' packets in the room with no utensils to eat it seems to be a big oversight.

Knowing that we book room for three adults...we were not provided three beds..there was one double Or queen and sofa bed...not sure why not one single bed provided instead of sofa bed in an executive suite...also we were provided only two of each things in the room.. why not sure...if room is booked for three everything automatically should be three we don't need to ask. Otherwise service was good

Everything! We travelled with a 13yo and the rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Good sized kitchen for our needs. Very happy to have a Nespresso machine in the room :) Bathrooms were roomy and very clean. Handy to have a self service laundry on our floor as well. Parking was super convenient (out the front of the hotel), with a permit provided by the hotel. Breakfast and coffee at the hotel was exceptional. Usually couldn't finish it all, but staff were happy to box it up for take away. Great location in Launceston, right across from the Launceston Hospital but no issue with noise or traffic. Coles a short walking distance down Charles Street.

There was nothing at Mantra Charles Hotel that I would find fault with. Very impressed with the hotel and staff as a whole; would definitely recommend it to fellow travellers, and would stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at this hotel in Launceston. The prime location, just a short stroll away from the city centre, cafe's and restaurants, made exploring and enjoying the local attractions incredibly convenient. The staff at the hotel were not only welcoming but also highly professional, catering to our needs with a genuine warmth that added a personal touch to our stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Launceston.

The rooms are lovely. Staff lovely. Clean and comfortable. ‘Guest of the day’ was a nice surprise and treat. The beds are lovely and comfy. Easy location to access the CBD.

Alarm going off all night in the next room (didnt think to call reception to check it out and turn it off, not used to staff being available 24/7) was surprised the windows werent tinted so you could see out when in the spa but not in, and the windows could use a clean. Also extra towels to required because of using the spa so much!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great aircon. Spacious room. Tasty breakfast. We were comfortable and generally well satisfied with our stay.

When we requested room to be cleaned and new towels supplied we weren't given any hand towels. There were only two chairs with back support in the room and one was very heavy to move so had to sit on a bench to watch TV. The reading light on the desk was bright but hard to share

The breakfast staff were excellent, and the supervisor personally asked me if my coffee was hot enough. The standard of the cooked breakfast was exceptional .

I was disappointed about the lighting. It was impossible to read in bed as there wasn't an individual light in the bedhead. The only light was a bright light in the ceiling directly above the bed. It wasn't possible to confine a softer light to me while I wanted to read and my partner wished to sleep. Never seen this before in the many hotels we have stayed throughout the world. Found this an obvious oversight in the design of the room.

location was great , room was spacious and clean , staff friendly and helpful . Also loved the well maintained gardens leading up to the hotel .

The coffee machine didn’t work , and the blind was peculiar ,as there was a small gap at the bottom - not feeling very private . Didn’t like the lighting in the bathroom . The shower was very small . Hotel in general had a very sterile feel to it . (I could visualise it being a hospital) Decor alittle outdated .
