A very clean, good-sized room (delux). The shower was large and had good running hot water. Good views, comfortable seating. A nice, large, comfortable bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was off the road and well placed for walking into the city.

Unfortunately, even though the accommodation was excellent, we will not be rebooking within the city area again due to the constant chiming of the town hall clock, which went off every hour, quarter and half hour. It's lovely sounding bells are pleasant to hear between the daytime hours, but not in the evening and throughout the night. We'll look for quieter accommodation outside Launceston and drive in for the day next time.

Location great for exploring Launceston on foot. Spacious room for two adults and a young toddler. Staff really quick to reply to messages (even I was slow to spot my booking.com app was misbehaving and not syncing the messages for me to receive them!). Loved the lock system too! A code on an electric keypad. So much easier than remembering to take keys out with you.

Only reasons for not giving this 10 out of 10. Shower temperature was very sensitive. A tiny fraction of a rotation of the cold tap turned it from baking hot to mild. Also didn’t hold a consistent temperature so it was sponge downs in the sink for our toddler. Cleanliness of the important things (ie beds and towels) was brilliant but overall we hit middle of school holidays and maybe rapid change overs so dust had built up on top of hairdryer bracket/light switches etc. making the place feel older and more dated than it was.

Would have been nice to have a sink to wash dishes in, fill up the kettle, rinse out dishes, fill up water bottles Was told we would get complimentary water daily, only got it 2/4 days due to there being no sink Also no recycling bin. Sign says “if towels are in shower floor” they will wash them, but if not they won’t for water saving reasons. We didn’t put them on the shower floor, yet they were washed every day. Shower could have been cleaner The dip in the bed between the two singles pushed together to make a larger bed was also uncomfortable

Conveniently located in the heart of Launceston. Heritage cute little cottages all very private with balconies front and back. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking spaces, accommodation was very clean and bed was super comfortable with quality pillows and linen. I will definitely book again when visiting Launceston next.

The only gripe I would say was that we had people stay above us and it was quite noisy when they were walking around and showering. That aside it was perfect 😀

Excellent central location. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff go out of their way to accommodate needs. Eg. Early check in. Room 2 very good size . Private courtyard. Large room good for long stay. Very good key pad entry system to rooms. No banging doors like many hotel rooms.

TV bit clunky. The guide kept changing to European stations for no particular reason and it was not clear how to go back to local TV. Bit frustrating as I was mostly room bound for a week. Upstairs a bit noisy. Sounded like floor boards and could hear people thumping about, both in the rooms and the stairs.

I booked the Hideaway for a trip with my 10 year old son to watch the Hawks and see a little of Launceston. The hotel was a cost effective option that was in a great location and within walking distance to the UTAS stadium and the main central area . The room was clean, tidy with digital entry and express checkout, bathroom was good (water temp took time to stabilise). I would recommend and stay again with easy, generous parking.

2BR townhouse shared by 2 couples. Great kitchen with good size fridge. Good size bathroom and water pressure. Lovely reception staff who showed us to our room. Able to do our washing there as well.

Parking good but a bit tight if there are 3 cars near the unit. 2 bedrooms are upstairs so lugging suitcases up is not the best for oldies. Nothing to do with these apartments but don't rely on taxis in Launceston. We were late for our dinner booking even though we had booked a taxi well over 1.5 hours beforehand. Ended up cancelling it and walking. Uber home took 3 minutes to come to us.

Hideaway on George ticked all my needs for location to cafes & shops, wifi, parking, comfortable and clean and extremely a value for money accomodation right in the hub of Launceston. Walking to the shops and cafes was something I prefer and was only 10-15 mins to get to all of them. I liked the fact I could open the windows also for fresh air. Check in was very easy also considering I arrived after office hours.

I prefer a softer bed, maybe a mattress topper could make a difference, other than that there is nothing I did not like as I felt what I paid for was value.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted at reception, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was warm and comfortable, quiet and a lovely garden surrounding it. Parking right outside the door. They also have keyless entry and the electric blankets were a nice touch. Everything about this apartment was great, we would stay again. They used to do breakfast but since Covid they don't anymore. But there are plenty of facilities to cater for yourself, or a short walk to restaurants.

Lovely and spacious room. High end features. The property was in a safe and secure area, but close to restaurants and shopping. Easy check in during office hours.

Not too sure of features. Did have a frig, but had strictly a motel type of accommodation. We had to ditch all our groceries and eat out at a restaurant.
