The change hotel was a superb place to stay in Launceston. Central and close to everything. We did not have a vehicle and walked just about everywhere. Also liked that we could call the staff to assist with a later check out.

Everything was basically spot on, only thing I would like to see improve is to have privacy blinds as well as the block out blinds. That way the people from the adjoining building cannot look into the bedrooms and still have daylight filtering through into the room. The last night our neighbours were talking the whole night (group of 8), we had to close the windows to reduce the noise. The way the courtyards are situated does increase the sound travelling up instead of out. Maybe enforce stricter rules on noice.

The location was perfect. The parking arrangements were easy. The apartment was so lovely and well equiped. We had a couple of issues which the manager and housekeeper responded to quickly and professionally. We loved the social enterprise concept and were glad to support this. The shower in the apartment was the best in Tassie.

A small and personal thing that hasn’t affected my rating of this property - I hated the corridor. It was black, dim and had a constant noise that reflected a street scene in a third world country. I think a person with disability might be affected by this - physically and emotionally?

Great location in the centre of Launceston. The property was tidy and match the photos and description we found on Booking. Spacious living room and bedrooms, comfy beds. To our surprise, the quality of the supplied cookware was quite good. Would come back if visit Launceston again.

We tried to book a parking space for our SUV but was told the parking are for small cars only. At the day we stayed we found some vacant, on-site parking lots which are large enough for our SUV. Although street parking and public parking are available around the property, it wasn't a pleasant experience to wheel 4 luggages while carrying bags, crossing the road while raining. The instruction to find and use the elevator from the entrance was unclear. The elevator was slow like Flash from Zootopia

Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Loved the funky artwork in the apartment and hallway. Nicely decorated. The beds were amazing, so comfy. Mini bar great idea. Fantastic location, walk to everything. I read reviews about people having trouble with keypads/entry, we had no problems at all made for easy checkin and entry.

We had some people next to us that partied for 2 days solid and didn’t go to bed, was very noisy. Just a note, that didn’t worry us, bedrooms are upstairs so if you are elderly or don’t do stairs could be a problem.

The apartment was centrally located in Launceston so that we could walk to parks, restaurants, cafes etc. The bed was exceptionally comfy (an unexpected bonus!) and everything was very clean and well maintained. I particularly liked the ethos of the property in terms of sustainability and supporting worthy humanitarian causes - a unique model!

The hallway to the apartment was painted black and a bit gloomy and there were recordings of city street noises etc. (which I assume evoked the human suppression relative to some of the causes) but my husband found it a bit weird & spooky! I feel the same message regarding supporting the causes the hotel donates to could have been represented by a bright colour palate equally as well as a dark one (i.e people who choose to stay feel bright and happy for having made a difference?).

The location was good, walking distance to the CBD. The rooms were large, and there were two full bathrooms. The online team were really helpful in fixing an issue we had. I am glad I had read the reviews about the weird music and darkness in the hallways and the purpose of it as they are a little strange and off-putting but I understand what they are trying to achieve with it.

The garage is very tight to get into and out of. The apartment we were in did have a bit of damage/marks on the walls and furniture, but it is due for maintenance soon and didn't really worry us.. The washing machine is a washer dryer and is terrible at drying clothes. It would have been amazing to have a separate dryer as we had a bit of wet weather when we were there, and it was hard to get the clothes dry.

Change is a contactless hotel - no staff, no reception, keyless entry via keypad. The room was a one-bedroom apartment with modern amenities and decor: the bedroom and bathroom upstairs and the lounge, kitchen, and laundry downstairs. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. In-room snacks were of good quality. It's short walk into the city centre.

While the underground, secure parking is suitable for a large vehicle, getting the car into the parking spot can be fiddly. Entry to the garage is via a code pad which is only accessible from outside the vehicle. The decor is alternative with dark corridors and a continuously playing soundtrack of street/city sounds. (These sounds are very low in volume and not audible inside the rooms.

Excellent accommodation. Perfect city position, convenient to all Launceston has to offer. Secure undercover parking a bonus. Only negative was it was really dark & a bit spooky on entry into hallway, but this soon dissapated on entry to the lovely apartment. Great selection of mini bar options. Facility to order meals that are left in your fridge (delicious). Finally the feel good aspect of a portion of your payment being directed to charity. Thoroughly recommend

Hallway lighting & lift was very slow

Great value for money. Modern, large apartments in central location. The service was amazing. Really fast response to all communication with the property and they were very accommodating, including allowing for late check out. I liked how you got a choice of what charity to donate to. All in all, a fantastic stay.

This is being super petty as the apartments were amazing. But maybe just a full length mirror in 1 of the bedrooms.

We loved the proximity of Change Overnight to every convenience you can imagine - the historic buildings, the little individual artisan shops, antique shops, art galleries, groceries, parks, restaurants and cafes! It's also a very safe location away from the noisy areas of Launceston. We'll definitely stay at Change Overnight next visit. Even the Housekeeping staff have been very helpful & friendly. Also liked the idea of helping charities whilst staying at C. O.

We believe there should have been a sign near those touch pads where you're required to enter a code (especially the front entry & both sides of the car park - it should say "IF YOU MADE AN ERROR - PRESS THE ASTERISK BUTTON & START AGAIN". We've met frustrated guests in very stressful situations trying to access help just to get in & out of the car park especially after hours! BTW, when it's sunny & bright outside especially in the afternoon, it's difficult to see anything on the touch pads! Plus a large note should be inside the car park that says PRESS THE BLUE BUTTON TO EXIT THE CAR PARK. Thank you!
