The property was great - comfortable with good facilities, although the trams can be noisy (but expected in the heart of the city on Bourke Street). It actually exceeded my expectations and even had a laundry room in the apartment and 2 bathrooms. I'd definately stay there again. It was quite a bit cheaper than some of the others and just as good to be honest. Location was perfect, so central to everything.

There seemed to be no room service on the weekend. Had I known, I would have changed our towels on Friday instead of trying to be environmentally friendly and using them again. By Monday , they weren't in a good state. I did ask for clean towels but no one brought any. Also we had overflowing rubbish by Sunday and no spare rubbish bags. Suggest you leave your guests spare towels and spare rubbish bags ( I understand there is a rubbish shute but we couldn't locate it) on a Friday. We realised we could have washed the towels but didn't think about it and had a busy schedule. Otherwise it was excellent.

Comfortable beds and homely living/dining room. Tea/coffee, milk, and sugar provided. Property was close to public transport (there's a tram stop directly opposite the entrance) which made getting around the city a breeze. Lovely spacious bathroom with good lighting. Good WiFi. Recommend the aquarium, zoo, state library, and markets if visiting.

One bedroom didn't have a curtain. Lamp in the living room didn't have a lightbulb but wasn't an issue. Weren't able to store luggage while we were waiting to check into our room (we arrived at 11:30am). - Not an issue but worth noting that only one key card is provided, and is needed to take the elevator and open the doors after hours. Plan accordingly if in a group that might split up.

Rented a family apartment which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bathroom had a jacuzzi and one bedroom had an open window facing the city. Small balcony through the lounge with a stunning view of the city. Tram stop outside the building which can take you to Southern Cross Station. Plenty of restaurants and other shops walking distance including China Town. Check-in was at 2pm but we received a message earlier to confirm our room was ready which was a bonus.

Nothing major but the jacuzzi was not working but the kids and I definitely enjoyed it.

I think I've found my new "go to" place to stay in Melbourne! We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The size of the apartment exceeded expectations. It was great to have the kitchen, though we only used it for coffee. A few more milk packets might have been helpful but that's a very minor issue. The king-size bed was so comfortable. Being on the 6th floor, we found it to be very peaceful and quiet during the night. As I'm a light sleeper, this was particularly important to me. Like the bed, the bathroom, with jacuzzi/shower, was generously sized and great. Wifi was very fast and perfect for handling the work demands I had. Speaking of work demands, the iron was of good quality for pressing shirts and trousers, which is often lacking in much more expensive hotels. Penultimately, the location of Melbourne CBD apartments was perfect for me. It is very centrally located, with easy access to terrific restaurants, bars and cafes, including in "Little Paris" and Chinatown, plus its easily accessible to Southbank. Overall, an outstanding stay and well look forward to staying again!

The windows would benefit from a clean on the outside, and the curtains are a bit too short for the length of windows.

The location was fantastic. Efe on reception was friendly, helpful & went out of his way to way to ensure everything about our stay went smoothly. The rooms were spacious and although a bit dated, were well appointed. We would most definitely stay here again on our next trip to Melbourne.

As an older person, I found having to step into the spa bath to shower a bit difficult. It is high & wide to step over and the surface of the bath is naturally slippery.

I have to say some of the negative comments I read just before travelling to Melbourne scared me, but having stayed for 13 nights I cannot agree with them. I had a very spacious appartment with a huge walk-in-shower, a comfortable bed and even one of those tiny balconies. The appartment was basically clean (yes, some spots might have been a bit cleaner, but e.g. the shower glass-wall showing scale at the bottom was something that did not affect me showering as I didn’t get in contact with it…). Aircon and all lamps were working, when I arrived :-) – the ceiling lamp in the bedroom gave up in my last week (maybe housekeeping leaving it on for a whole day did not help) and an electrician had to be called (who did not arrive before I left – but with 2 bedside lamps I was not left in complete darkness). Fresh towels were provided every day (except for Sundays and Australia Day) and except for the missing dryer (which I did not need anyway) everything was as expected. When I asked for a drying rack (which was missing in the first place), I was provide with one within minutes. I will definitely consider staying again during my next visit to Melbourne as the location is unbeatable and so is the price given that first of all acommodations in Australian cities are expensive in general other accomodations in the area cost a lot more without offering wasching machine, kitchen etc.

- Reception was sometimes not staffed within „reception opening times“, which might be a problem at arrival as you cannot enter the building until you have your key. - no dryer (just a general comment - I wouldn't have used it anyway, but as it is advertised...)

Location close to public transport. Close to Chinatown. Art Theatre, shopping, restaurants. Staff very approachable and helpful.

Maybe offer another blanket for those travelling from a warmer climate.

Service was great, a guy greeted us and it was very busy but he made sure we were comfortable waiting to check in. Check-in process was quick and easy. Rooms exceeded my expectations because they were way bigger than we imagined (we booked the 1 bedroom). No parking on-site, however there are 2 options to park at either SecureParking or Wilson Parking, both a minute or two walk away. Main reason for booking was because it's only a 5 minute booking to Princess Theatre for Harry Potter play and prime location for CBD. Right in front of entrance is a tram stop.

Apartments are a good size, fully self contained & overlooking Bourke St. As a solo I felt safe. I like being able to cook & not have to leave the apartment at night, for anything. Fast check in with friendly staff. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Great shower. Clean, very comfortable bed!

I can't think of anything I didn't like. The accom is on the cheaper side, so don't take advantage of the price and then complain when it's not the Ritz. They're not sparkling new apartments but they're larger than most, very comfortable and have everything you need.

Good location and staff

Shower pressure could be improved and towel sizes were very small more suited to kids not adults.
