The room is a bit small and a liitle outdated. There was no bathtub., the bar and coffee area is too small. However, the facilities were amazing. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and really well designed ~It is comfortable that my kids enjoyed it a lot. The towels and the shower area were also clean and fresh. But disappointed that there was no steam room, which I always looked out for when in a hotel. The gym is average. The breakfast was remarkable! It is definitely an 5-star hotel breakfast trademark and I was not disappoint. The unlimited barista coffees and freshly squeezed veggies and fruit juices made me happy.

The bar and coffee area needs to be a liitle bit roomy. and could have been better if there is a bath tub.

The staff were friendly, accommodating and absolutely lovely. The facilities like the pool, gym and sauna were great. The beds were so comfy. The buffet was fresh and had a huge variety. We would stay here again.

The shower grout in our room needed a good clean. On the weekend nights the hotel seems to be a popular dinner location which was exceptionally noisy untill wee hours of the morning. The TV's are not smart TV's so you can only access live TV. There also wasn't any kids options for the room service menu.

Room was clean, pillows and bed were very comfortable. Towels were lovely too. Room was made up when I came back (though a little late one day). Staff were great and very accommodating - even assisted me locating somewhere to purchase a cable I had forgotten.

Wifi in conference area was not good - probably due to brickwork / location. They should look at a wifi extender to boost the signal. In my room they need to change the bathroom door to face the other way, so it doesn't open onto the vanity, which is annoying.

Absolutely loved our stay; especially the staff who were amazing! Everyone we encountered was very friendly and ready to help. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep. The breakfast is even better than you’d expect, we were so spoilt for choice! If you can think of it, they have it and their service is second to none. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Beds need lock on the wheels so you can sit up in them without them rolling away from the wall. The smallest inconvenience in what was a wonderful stay.

The staff at the hotel are wonderful, they provide such impeccable service, especially the porters. The block out curtains are wonderful. The club lounge breakfast is fantastic with so much variety. I will definitely stay here again but might book it directly with IHG.

The listing on booking.com indicated an in-room spa bath was included. It was only a bath. Pay close attention to the listing. Poor form booking.com. My only negative was the quality of some of the snacks in the club-lounge. On occasion, the bread used in the afternoon tea was stale.

The Architecture and history of the Hotel. The Hotel and Room was clean. The Buffet breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food from omelettes, cured meats and cheeses, fruits, cereals, juices, bread and pastry items. Great coffee and you can make your own fresh vegetable/fruit juice. Unfortunately, Gluten Free options were lacking at both the Breakfast and Level 4 Club Room.

Ordered a Double room which stated it catered for 2 Adults and 2 children; however the beds, room and bathroom itself was a bit on the small side; so I would suggest booking a room with Queen or King Beds if sharing with children over 8 years. Our room was located at the very end of the hallway from the lifts - it was a very loooong hallway! The Pool in the photos is deceiving as the pool room area was quite cold, the pool water was lukewarm and it was quite a small pool (more for a dip, not big enough to do laps) - it definitely was not appealing to go for a swim which was disappointing. The depth of pool is 1.2m

Luxurious amenities, exceptional service, and prime location in the heart of Melbourne. Additionally, I had the privilege of club room access during my stay, and I found it to be an excellent experience. The club room amenities and services provided an added level of comfort and convenience, enhancing my overall enjoyment at the Intercontinental Melbourne.

Most of the rooms might have limited or obstructed views. If a good view is important to you, it's recommended to inquire about room options that offer desirable vistas.

The building had wonderful character & history and the staff were very obliging and it actually felt accommodating - as if they wanted us to enjoy our stay (which we did, thoroughly!) The room was very clean and the King size bed was super comfortable & warm. Our breakfast was included in our fare & it was fabulous! I would say the best hotel breakfast I’ve had anywhere around the world. There were 4 of us & we all agreed it was a wonderful hotel, the location was excellent and we would definitely be going back soon!

$70 to valet park the car for the night; didn’t opt to do it, parked elsewhere ourselves for half the price.

Good location, everyone knows the street and you could literally eat or drink as you step out. The hotel has entrances on both sides - Collins as well as Little Collins Street. It is located in the free zone Tram area. The rooms are excellent, though the washrooms are smaller as compared to other hotels(where we stayed). Breakfast is good. They gave small activity books to my kids when we checked in, which was a nice gesture.

Nothing as such. Breakfast could have more options.
