Staff were lovely and bed was comfortable

Very good value for money. We had a spacious room with a city view, breakfast included and mini bar credit. Loved the rooftop for happy hour!

Location is not perfect but close to public transport.

Where do I start …. This place is brilliant! From the minute you arrive, the staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help you. Our room was beautiful! Amazing views, super comfy bed, great wardrobe/drawers for unpacking and lovely bathroom with Kevin Murphy products. Then there’s the wonderful Salted Egg restaurant and Q bar. Our room rate included breakfast and what a treat it was each morning knowing that was how we would start our day. Delicious!! And to cap off an amazing four night stay, we did a Cocktail Class with Hugh at the Q bar. And it was brilliant. Hugh went to so much trouble to make it a great fun experience, and really informative. We loved it, thank you Hugh! Quincy is in a great central city location, an easy walk from the Sky Bus drop off pick up point.

The rooms were stylish and comfortable, the bathroom and amenities were fantastic. The mini bar credit and choice of options was a nice touch.

The breakfast options sounded appealing but none of the options we tried were very tasty. The tissue box in our room only had two tissues in it when we checked in so we left it out on the vanity the next day so it would be replaced, but it was left there empty until the following day when we left it out again. The same thing happened with our facecloths, except they took the used ones and did not replace them.

We really enjoyed how close we were to the trams, it meant we could get to the main shopping area in about 10 minutes or less. Or if we felt like walking it would take us about 20 minutes. We also liked the quirky nature of the hotel, the pink tiles in the bathroom were a nice touch and just a bit different than your usual hotel room. But it wasn’t to overwhelming was still a nice relaxed and clean place to be at the end of the day. We also really like the fact it had a pool and a rooftop bar! Staff were for the most part really friendly and helpful. We also forgot that on arrival we got a bottle of wine + a daily $20 mini bar credit so that was really appreciated.

In our specific room we had a disability bathroom which we didn’t like, we found water got everywhere from the shower and there was no storage in the bathroom to put your toiletries, we just had to put stuff on the floor. Also if you get a room with a view of the river the train does go past and make quite a bit of noise so it’s something to be aware of, didn’t bother us because we are heavy sleepers but if you aren’t a heavy sleeper you may want to make sure you are on the other side and you would be fine.

Great location, beautiful room with wrap around floor to ceiling glass windows. Very modern and unique fixtures and appliances.

I booked the hosier club room, and it wasn’t until I went back to reception the next day to enquire, that I was told I was supposed to be given a gold card for access to the club room and free breakfast etc.. little bit disappointing. The club room was also a bit of a let down - the photos on booking.com show cakes, coffee, refreshments available all day to gold card holders - yet when we went it was unstaffed and the “all day refreshments” were leftover beers and ciders in a bar fridge? A bit odd.

Excellent location in Melbourne city centre. We were able to hop on and off trains and trams easily to visit the sites around the city. Enjoyed the bar on the top floor and bar food. Friendly staff. Room was good size and very clean. Small Gym which I used daily and a small pool which I didn’t try.

Was expensive but we did book the larger room with breakfast included and complementary drinks in the bar for 1 hour and 20AUD minibar tab. The problem with this was it wasn’t always obvious what we were entitled to. The choices at Breakfast wasn’t our preferred menu, although the staff were excellent.

We got a room deal with free breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was great! The restaurant was full of friendly helpful staff, and the food was excellent. There was also a coffee shop in the hotel foyer and 24/7 room service. The food was Asian fusion, yummy. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. When there was a water incident, we were upgraded at no cost. Big mention of Brad, one of the managers, who was fabulous!!!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. We would stay there again tomorrow if we could!!

The hotel is very conveniently located in the central business district with tram and bus routes not far away (also with free tram rides within the CBD area) so it was easy to get to other iconic areas of the city. The reception staff are friendly - in particular Kelly who went out of her way to be helpful, which we greatly appreciated. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Breakfast was very good - chosen from a menu of interesting options. Although there is no on-site parking, the hotel has an arrangement with a nearby car park for discounted rates, which was useful for us since we had driven into Melbourne.
