Location. Location. Location. It was less than a two minute walk to the MCG which was absolutely wonderful when attending Taylor Swifts Eras Tour. We were worried about our safety, being two girls walking around the city in the late evening so this was a perfect option for us.

The only downside to the property was not having a dining option in the hotel. It was at least a ten minute walk to the nearest restaurant or cafe. The property offered breakfast Wednesday through to Sunday however guests would definitely benefit from having a lunch & dinner option as well.

Really close to Rod Laver arena which meant we could walk to the concert and back again with no issues. Close to the city so the Uber rides were pretty quick to get us where we needed to be. The staff were super helpful any time we needed anything and the location was great.

The breakfast was not worth the amount that it cost and we could have gone somewhere nicer for around the same amount. We had a room at the top of the building facing Rod Laver arena and the train/tram tracks. As you would expect, we had constant noise from the train tracks for most of the day/night which became a bit much.

Great Location to attend a gig at Margaret Court Arena, Tram lines into the city nearby, or a short walk to Fed Square. Staff Were friendly and Beds were comfortable. Toiletries provided were lovely.

Plug didn't fit the sink in the kitchenette. We didn't find this our until last night when we went to wash up what we had used. If the plug doesn't fit - when was the last time anything was properly washed? Unfortunately it meant I suddenly realised that probably staff aren't checking this between guests!

we liked the ease of getting to places within the city and how close it was to the MCG as we were seeing two AFL games

we had a run in with a staff member when I accidentally dropped a room key down the elevator shaft on our way into the elevator on the 8th floor. unfortunately, the staff member immediately blamed me and said I would be paying $300, when he hadn't even gotten someone to look for the key. it made my day very stressful. i talked to another staff member the next day and he was so much more thoughtful and understanding and assured me that they can retrieve things from the bottom of the shaft, but probably not until Monday.

location to the Margaret Court Arena was perfect. close to town, railway line noise was present in our room but it was livable. free Wifi. walk in shower for those with a disability. undercover parking for $25 per night.

first room, super noisy air con broken fan I suggest. moved to another room, mould in ice tray, 3rd was suitable. still grubby but suitable. dirty blanket in the cupboard was easily replaced. Walls and curtains dirty. Only commercial TV available so brought own laptop to watch. TV was quite small in relation to the room. but watchable. Very Limited or no Disabled parking. luckily able to be accommodated. Railway traffic quite frequent. limited balcony access - no chairs to sit outside your room.

Mantra Hotel has a homy feel. I am travelling with a big family and mantra was suppose to be just our initial hotel and we were suppose to change hotel midstay in Melbourne. In a few days of staying there, the rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, you have your shared laundry and dryer. The whole family ended up extending our stay and felt right at home. we had 2 rooms with its own kitchen, and we were able to cook meals and satisfy our cravings, as the saying goes "You can take the man out of the woods, but you can't take the woods out of the man.' That was a plus for my family. Indeed we recommend travelling family to stay at this place. this hotel is near a park and the Cricket Arena. they also have a branch near the city center, but I'm not sure if they will have the same amenities.

The location was far from restaurants and shopping center so we had to walk around 20 mins to reach the nearest restaurant. there is also a nice walk way to the city and the park, the location is still not THAT bad.

The shower pressure was amazing and the shower was hot which you often don’t get. I loved the hair and body wash products. They smelt so good and were so luxurious. It was handy having a bar fridge, microwave and kettle. Walking distance to the MCG made it perfect

No complimentary biscuits which you usually get even at cheap motels. The restaurant didn’t seem to be open in the evenings and the food available for purchase was limited and expensive- $10 for a small block of chocolate!

I liked that the staff were accommodating in swapping the room I had booked from a queen to a twin room for my friend and me. That there was basic food and drink available at reception - that cup of noodles really tied me over. :) If you are going to any of the sporting events or concerts this is a great location.

The mini fridge froze all my food. The trains are right bellow the window so pack ear plugs. Toddler would have loved to stand at the window and watch the trains all day though, would book again for that reason. :)

Location perfect to the MCG… Staff upon arrival very good, male, absolutely lovely.

On returning back to our room asked female that was at reception, after 10pm, not sure of name.. we asked for another milk for our room, it was like I was inconveniencing her to get it… only disappointment to the night.. The other thing I guess I would of liked was your restaurant to be open, but I understand staffing issues etc but I do hope this is something that comes back as you are situated those few kms away from restaurants..

We booked our stayed at last min for a concert we attened was a great location walking distance to rod laver arena and close enough to shops and cafes. Staff was friendly and was greeted in a respectful manner and very helpful with places to park our car and directions to shops and cafes close by. Comfortable bed and air-conditioning was great.

Limited carpark so we had to park around the corner and top up pay parking for half our stay. Bathroom supplies where not topped up with some being empty room was a little over priced for the size was actually expecting a more spacious room but Besides that our stay was fantastic definitely will be staying again in the near future
