Next door to the Chinese Visa Application Centre which was our reason for staying. Friendly staff, easy check in, good directions provided to find our room. Room was nice and clean, especially the bed linen which made it a comfortable stay. Decent size TV, room had a kitchenette with dish washer, also had a washing machine and dryer although we didn't need it for our short stay. Close to Albert Park which was nice to walk around. Tram access directly in front which is very convenient.

2 separate trams needed to travel from Southern Cross Station but not hard to do. Can take a train to Flinders St Station and catch a tram from there which I'd probably recommend doing.

I don’t know why the reviews for this place aren’t great - as we didn’t expect much from reading them. But the staff were so accommodating, keeping our stuff for us when we checked in and also when we checked out. The rooms were equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Washing machine, dryer, kitchen pots and pans, microwave. We kept laughing saying we could live there! When I asked for air con to be brought up, it was brought up straight away from a smiley lady. Thank you for the lovely stay - and nobody should be nervous about booking here! Did just the job.

compare to Tunisia visit and somehow basically I live in Australia and i say what I see and this hotel in Melbourne was really good and the staff was very friendly the night staff was very nice and the day staff was also very nice and extra helpful as well because i asked to keep my luggage in the hotel for a while going for a quick meeting and why i would say Tunisia because booking staff from this website did not do the right thing and i still need the receipt from Tunisia and why i say this here because they did not care about what happened and my rights so booking dot com is not what you think they are most of the time they do not help you when you need them

Perfect location: located in the main street easy to find, across the street is the US Consulate, trams to CBD, St Kilda beach and around just in front of the hotel. Room facilities are enough and in a good standard, plus is having a spacious wardrobe, washing machine and dryer. Staffs are helpful and 24/7. Cleanliness Hot water pressure is great. Check-in and check-out time Value for money

I was very pleased with our room ,although small it was very compact .I found the bed linen and towels to be extremely clean . The bathroom was very clean ,the room was well maintained . The property is on St Kilda Road ,2mins walk from the tram stop direct to the city .

Had I been staying longer I would have liked a little more room ,but for a 1 night stay it was okay .

The location was great, right next to a tram stop. Room was nice and big, had a fridge, microwave, utensils, great shower pressure. There was a little couch, tv, coffee table and normal table!

There is no shower door so water splashes everywhere

The staff were fantastic We were going to the Chinese Visa centre next door and they let us leave our car in the car park after check out till we were finished getting our Visa so helped heaps. The room was clean and comfortable.

Location was good

Air conditioner was leaking and for a small room didn’t work that well. Given that it is summer this was a problem. Poor wifi connection. Staff ignored us when we out the door and we said hello, got no response.

Car parking system needs to be sorted out. They need to allocate each room a car park rather then " find your own " system. Due the reserved parking not being ladled correctly makes it almost impossible to figure out

Location of the property was great, and the surrounding area was lovely to walk around and a couple of near by cafes were lovely.

The airc conditioner was located on the floor right next to the bed and it was very noisy. The shower head arrangement was difficult to manage as it kept falling down.
