Every single thing, we really had a good trip. It was in the middle of the city. Pricing wise it was fair. Affordable. Really got more than we thought.

Car park. Very highly priced. It was too far from the hotel. Over charged. We found it could be cheaper if we had booked online. Other hotels were offering $18 but we were made to pay $45 per day. Couple of staff, only couple we found non approachable attitude towards us. But others were great. Didn't care as it happens with us every where.

Location of hotel, value for money, convenience to transport, shops & theatre district. Half tix located across the street from hotel.

Aircon needed adjusting. Location of triple share room, long way from lift, 3 glass doors to negotiate.

As a return guest of multiple visits, I have only good things to say about the Victoria. A safe and comfortable stay in the middle of the city with fantastic amenities and wonderful service! Special mention to Melanie who was extremely helpful throughout my stay from check in to check out. I will be back at the end of next month!

There was a slight issue on the day of checkout whereby I was locked out of my room prior to checkout time. Again, Melanie was extremely helpful in gaining me access to the room so that I could pack and checkout. I realise that these problems occur but it would be great if this had not happened at all.

Everything at the Victoria Hotel is laid out for efficiency and ease for the customer, both the restaurants are brilliant but we especially enjoyed Vic's, very good for drinking, eating and listening to some good music. The room was 'efficient' with everything you need to make your stay in Melbourne go smoothly and the bed was big enough for us to get a good night sleep. I organised our trip around the location of the hotel so that was the focal point of the trip.

There was space for extra storage of clothes so that could be improved, I was glad we had only booked for 5 nights! And of course if you pick a hotel in the middle of Melbourne the view is going to be what it is.

We really liked how the place had free Wi-fi and a smart tv because we were able to watch YouTube on the tv because there wasn’t much to watch on tv, they always cleaned our room even when we had a late start to our day, the front desk staff were very nice and very accommodating to our early check out because we had to catch a long distance bus from the southern cross station.

In our room 2121 we have two steps to the bathroom which could be an issue for someone and maybe have a water purifier some where to get water for the kettle or fill up water bottle so you don’t have to get it from the bathroom.

I received a warm welcome and departure. The location is excellent. My room was always made up well. Housekeeping didn’t knock on your door early to service your room. The interior of the hotel is modern and presents well.

You could hear people coming and going down the hall way, particularly up and down the stairs to the door between sections. Whilst the pool was good, it would have been nicer had it been a bit bigger. The lifts were rather slow and upon departure i had to wait until approximately lift number 5 before I could fit in to go to reception to check out.

Location is perfect for walking the city of Melbourne and also ability to catch trams etc. Our first allocated room was far too noisy due to building works further down the street but the staff accommodated us in a room that was much quieter, albeit much smaller. Our first room was huge. There is a pleasant bar on the premises, great coffee shop downstairs next door and hotel bistro also within the complex (we didn't eat there but it looked clean and had a good menu and the staff were helpful when we asked questions regarding the menu). Always good parking out the front for car/taxi/rideshare vehicles to temporarily park

Our first room was way too noisy - we had been warned it could be noisy but the staff were obviously unaware of building works in the street further down and trucks, concrete mixers and all sorts of heavy vehicles were rolling past our first floor apartment from around 3am. Impossible. No shelf in the bathroom for even a bar of soap let alone shampoo etc . We also had to purchase additional coat hangers as there were too few for 2 people in the smallish cupboard.

Victoria Hotel is central to all you might like to do in the CBD of Melbourne. Walking distance to restaurants, theatres, sporting arenas etc. I had no problem with city noise - I was on upper floor. Rooms had all necessary facilities, without extras. Simple but perfectly functional. Fridge. Hanging space. Iron (?) Great facilities to charge phones and computers etc. Great lighting. Spotlessly clean. The bar area is very pleasant and there is a quiet and large sitting area on the mezzanine floor. A very pleasant, friendly and reasonably priced restaurant is attached to the hotel - breakfast served there. Victoria Hotel is very reasonably priced for the centre of the city.

I stayed five nights. Housekeeping was adequate but only just. On two of the nights the bed was not made up. On the other three it was perfect.

Very central location in Melbourne CBD, very close to all amenities, tram, metro, shops, meeting points for tours. Super location for a solo traveller to base themselves for a few days to cover a few different sites. Excellent reasonable coffee around the corner. Staff were so good on my last day, I was having a bagging issue and couldn't get through to the airline and they were ever so helpful bringing me up a measuring tape and offering help etc. I would definitely stay here if ever in Melbourne again and I highly recommend it.

Nothing.

Great location (if you aren't use to city street noises, you might want to request an internal room (no windows) but didn't bother me at all). Friendly front of house and service staff. Comfy clean bed, hot water (good hairdryer), windows had blinds and curtains, nice big room (with desk, chairs and table), new smart TV with excellent wifi (no sign in required, amazing!), Netflix was free and available. Numerous elevators, I was on level 6 (the gym and pool level) on the Little Collins still entrance side. Be aware the pool is very small, I didn't use it, but would have used the gym if I didn't decide to use this break to sleep in. I appreciated all the artwork throughout the hotel corridors. Trams are right outside, they are free to use within the CBD. So only tap on if you need to travel beyond the City Square boundary of the CBD. You can find more out at the Myki centre at Southern Cross station and the Melbourne Visitor's Centre on Swantson street, a very short walk around the corner from the hotel. Also, go to the Tiki Bar outside the hotel! I didn't eat at the MM restaurant or Bar, but they were always busy with patrons. Theatres are all near by. Go to the Regent Theatre!

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the lack of drawers in the room and lighting wasn't very strong in the room. I don't like to put my clothes on raw wood open shelving. But I get you can't put drawers in about a thousand rooms. XD The mirror was quite far from where you stand in the bathroom, so hard to peer at yourself when doing make-up. But the lighting wasnt great over the wardrobe sliding mirror doors.
