So friendly and such a welcoming laid back vibe and so different from the other traditional 5 star hotels. Rooms were amazing and give you a wow factor. Love the smell when you walk in (I noticed candle aroma straight away). Staff really like their jobs and you can tell. Great spots to sit and watch in comfy chairs. Rooftop bar great but the downstairs bar is really cosy. Doormen go out of their way to help. Loved seeing a dog downstairs and good to know there are select rooms they can stay in. Beds were super comfortable with really comfy pillows.

There really isnt much to criticise QT does it so well and its very slick. Just some small points for feedback: Construction work across the road wakes you up each day but not much the hotel can do about that - for info only. Bar on level 1 closes too early (before 10pm which is really surprising for those that want to have a quiet late night drink) and we were forced to go elsewhere. Minor point - No kettle in room to make a hot hot cup of tea but of course there is the coffee machine which just does make the water hot enough for tea lovers. $70 parking per night is pretty steep and I think this should be reduced for guests (we paid $210 for 3 nights)

Everything. The room was fantastic and comfortable with a little seating area. It was stylish and the bathroom was amazing for 2 people with everything you needed eg shampoo etc was a big bottle rather than you hoping both people had enough in those use wee bottles. The room service was amazing. The food was outstanding and presented beautifully and imo very reasonably priced Loved that it was staffed 24hrs nothing was too much trouble. We really felt very special and having the hotel as our base made our trip so much better

I prefer to apply makeup at a mirror with natural light. The mirrors in room and bathroom didn't have this

The room was well furnished and tastefully decorated. The hotel felt luxurious and the staff were professional and friendly. The location was excellent as I was celebrating my birthday at the QT rooftop bar. My friends and I were very lucky as we hadn't booked but when a booth was available due to a cancellation, we were able to get seated in the booth. Late night snack of gourmet toasties was appreciated. The random elevator prompts were entertaining.

The only thing I disliked was just a hint of noise coming from the nearby club (The Carlton Club). However, it was a very minor distraction and did not hamper my overall experience of the hotel. As I was staying only one night, I wasn't in need of a pool, however, I do like swimming and if I was staying for a longer period, I would miss having a pool.

Staff were amazing in all interactions. Amenities and additional available resources (hair dryer and straightener) were very nice. The lifts were particularly fun with the sensor for amount of people and movement. Rooftop bar was a great area. Was able to accommodate early check in with no prior notice and held luggage for the day for departure.

Hallway noise was quite loud in the room, there was almost no noise from adjoining rooms so sound isolation seems good in that regard. Hallway noise didn't seem like particularly loud conversations, sound just carried. All pillows were comfortable but would be appreciate a low profile pillow as an option. Mini fridge was well stocked but allowed almost no room for anything else you want want to use it for. Overall exceedingly happy but just some minor things 😊

Everything! From the interior with all the beautiful designs of the reception, waiting areas, bars and the rooms! It was really well thought of and feeling like I was in real luxury! I loved the inspirations from all different design styles including Japanese interior design. Not only that it was a vibe and looked amazing but also the beds were comfortable, staff were beautiful and went above and beyond for our wedding night. The streamers, champagne and love sign were just so special for our night. Thank you! We cannot wait to have our anniversary next year there x

I love the vibe...the position in Melbourne is the best. You can easily walk to the Theatres, many great restaurants, shopping. The staff are lovely. Friendly and definitely not stuffy. The greeting when you pull up outside with your car is always the best from the guys at the front door. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The double glazed double windows block out all the city noise. Makes for a great nights sleep. Have stayed many times and keep coming back.

I had a couple of little negs this time. Check in was slow. And TV didnt work. I think for the money you pay attention to detail is very important.

Funky atmosphere, and smelt amazing! We stayed in the King corner room with the standalone bathtub, which was lux! Bed was super comfortable, towels and robes very soft. Bathroom option to have closed or or open plan is great for accessing the sink. Sitting area with table perfect to enjoy a meal or setup laptop and work. Room service using the app is an absolute treat! Kevin Murphy toiletries always great!

Lack of soundproofing - Room was on the 2nd floor which meant we could hear everything from the street. Given the rooftop bar is open to public (and super popular) the Saturday night was a rough sleep, with all the noise from rowdy patrons until early morning (1-2am). Weekdays were fine though. We could also hear movement from upstairs and next door like people walking around, dropping stuff, and at one point moving furniture. Some smaller things - when we came home after dinner, the bouncer comes up to us and stops us then rudely says ‘do you live here?’ He did not approach other people, this felt a little off putting. Wanted to enjoy a coffee during the day at the rooftop but they don’t do coffee, heaps of spots in the city though.

Service on arrival and departure was, as always, excellent

Service at breakfast was very disappointing (for the first time ever). Our order was very simple (we both had exactly the same) but only one was delivered. i asked for the second and even then the kitchen had to ring their bell multiple times for it to be served (I could see it sitting on the kitchen servery). On leaving, one of the waiters (who was very professional throughout) advised there would be no charge which did markedly improve the experience!

Everything! - From the Welcome concierge with a quirky hat and broad, brimming smile to the welcome desk who managed to find us a room before usual check in time. Great decor throughout the hotel, very comfortable beds, plush towels and robes. Chef opened up the kitchen after closing on my return from the theatre wet & famished - Best sirloin steak and salad I've had in a long while.

Cocktail bar on level 1 was a little understaffed on the Friday night however the wait was not uncomfortable as ambiance and music great, just unexpected.

QT is in an excellent location. The room was very nicely furnished but a bit too big in size. The amount of light switches overwhelming and after 4 days we still didn't know which was for what function. Our room counted about 14 in total but there was no light above the bar and fridge area. The staff in the breakfast area was extremely friendly and professional.

The young lady, perhaps new?, at the check-out was very nervous and could not give us an estimation of the total costs. We were promised an invoice by email, however so far we have not received it.
