Very comfortable bed and pillows, very effective heating, convenient location for visiting the nearby hot springs, friendly staff.

While there was a kettle, microwave and toaster in the room, the only cutlery/crockery provided was 3 coffee mugs, one spoon and a chopping board. Granted, the listing doesn't say that the kitchenette includes plates or cutlery (or mugs), but it seemed a little strange to not include a plate or butter knife to complement the toaster. We were there for just one night and didn't have the opportunity to ask staff if they had these items available on request.

Great accommodating host who was super kind and provided us with every thing we needed. The rooms were neat and clean and even had extra blankets and pillows. The bathroom was very clean and we were provided with extra soaps shampoos etc. Overall the vibe of this place was so chill and the best part is that it was right in the middle of every tourist attraction so it was very easy for us to drive around and come back to the motel and rest. Lots of restaurants nearby too which was the best thing. Definitely going to come back here for excellent service and great stay :)

The hotel is very recently renovated and the beds and fitout is as good and modern as any chain hotel, with the benefit of a very friendly and gracious host, who is intent on making sure you have a great stay. We checked in late which was nice and easy through remote check-in, and were very well looked after. It was too cold for the pool, but that too looked updated and beautifully maintained.

It's slightly removed from Rosebud proper, but ultimately within 5 minutes drive of everything, and in a nice quiet spot.

Very friendly, helpful staff with a lovely greeting and helped with remote check in. The room and bathroom is very modern and clean. The common room was great for dinners and utensils if you are wanting to save on eating out all the time, it also had a pool table which was lots of fun. It was a bit cold for swimming but the property also had a pool.

Not a dislike but just the signal for internet and wifi was very weak couldn’t read basic emails.

Room is neat and tidy. The location is closed to the beach , restaurants and easy to find some shops to buy things that we need. The staff are nice .

However the only thing I didn't like is the heater, it rained the second night that we stayed and it's too cold .The heater is turning off by itself in every 30 mins and re start again in just a few mins . I tried to used the mode doesn't work so I give up . I feel so cold, better to bring more jumper to keep warm when the weather is changed.

Great place to stay and unwind for the weekend. Whether it's for one night or a weeks stay, this motel has got all you need. Standard room was perfect for couples and 3 person family. Very fresh and renovated rooms, basketball ring and swimming pool. Close to all shops and only a walk across the road to the beach. Service was very good and the owners dog poomba was a great interaction to start our weekend. We stayed for one night and it was perfect. Definitely will recommend and be back to stay here.

Bed was a bit too firm for me.

My 2 friends and I came to celebrate our milestone together in Mornington Peninsula and wanted a place to stay for just one night. We looked around and found that Rosebud Motel has different configurations of beds that accommodate our needs. It is also located less than 10 minutes' drive from the venue of our celebration. Our room was clean and uncluttered and the beds were comfortable.

Our room was at the front of the block and close to the road.

We were give a beautiful newly renovated room - loved the colour scheme The property is undergoing renovation and one by one new rooms are opening up. this will be a great place to visit over and over. Check in was super friendly and helpful and we felt like valued guests. Really good location for some great nearby attractions and excellent food.

The owner was so friendly and accommodating, he couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms are being renovated and are going to be fantastic once fully finished. The games room was fantastic too, the whole family spent the afternoon hanging out in there.

Right from the start this motel was a favourite. At the reception we were greeted warmly and asked about what we had planned. We were given recommendations for cafes, beaches, restaurants and activities to do in the area. We decided to try all of them and not a single 1 left us dissatisfied. - Rosebud Thai restaurant - vanilla slice cafe - Arthur's seat - enchanted adventure park - quarantine station - Dromana - Queenscliff We were upgraded to a family room, with more space which we greatly appreciated. The beds were firm and comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean and modern with a kettle, microwave and fridge that was a good size to keep a few things cold, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. The motel had a pool, 2 electric BBQ's and a games room with a pool table, claw machine and a kitchenette with all cooking utensils, plates, full sized fridge, an 8 seater dining table perfect for a family meals together or board games. When we were asked if we needed anything for our room, it was always quickly delivered. We were literally 50m from the beach and a few KMs from the local supermarkets. To be honest, this motel by far has the best service, facilities and location of anywhere we've stayed and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the peninsula to stay here.
