This is a very nice property in a wonderful location. Choice of restaurants all around was very good and pricing at the ones we did try was very reasonable as well. Room was very spacious and well appointed but we would have preferred a corner spa to the one in the room that was prone to overflowing and flooding the floor. The view from the very spacious balcony was well worth the visit, nice to see how the other half live just over the inlet!

Only issue we had was some late night/early morning noise which may have been coming from another room nearby or from restaurant customers hanging around long after closing.

We booked a two bedroom apartment and were given a three bedroom villa at no extra cost. It was a beautiful villa, very spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and professional. The cute baby blanket that came with the cot for the 6 month old was a lovely touch.

Unfortunately the villa is above and next to the brewery for the Indian Ocean Brewery as well as the service car park. I was awoken both days at 6am to loud truck engines and banging as items were delivered and collected. The noise continued all morning.

Extremely clean and tidy. Very comfortable and relaxing. Water view and balcony in all rooms. Smoke friendly on balconies only. Food and entertainment at your door step with numerous venues to choose from. Cabana Bar Pool access also.

I have a feeling hands may of changed. There were different people than the normally friendly faces I’ve seen in the past at reception. Rules for venue parties in the facilities bars have also changed.

The Marina Hotel was an absolute delight during my one night stay in which I had a great room with the suite. Location and views at every turn were a delight and the ever present salt water air was a pleasant reminder of the prime location in the Mindarie Marina. So many eating options as well as the unique craft brewery/Restaurant in Indian Ocean Brewery gives The Marina Hotel a clear edge as a go to destination whenever in Perth.

Everything, especially all the places nearby to eat. The room was huge and not at all what I was expecting. The double shower made my dreams come true as we finally got to have one big family shower which the kids loved. Loved all the staff they were so friendly even the housekeepers as I wasn’t even expecting a tidy up after one night.

Just the loud music at night as we stayed over the weekend but it wasn’t even that bad and I still fell asleep quite easily. The kids didn’t even notice.

We asked for a room with a view and they delivered! We were expecting a ground floor room, but we’re in a top floor corner room with a huge balcony and stunning views! It was the perfect sunset location. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in Perth. The bathroom is huge with a double sink and double shower. Location is great with many dining options on the doorstep.

Bar fridge was too small. Bedroom balcony door didn’t lock.

We had breakfast on a couple of occasions in the coffee restaurant. Very good quality food although a little pricey. Staff were very attentive even though there were very busy on Sunday 30th. The views from our room at sunset were amazing.

The lighting in the main room was a bit subdued for our liking.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. It was great that the pubs and restaurants were all part of the same complex. The bartenders at the Cabana were especially great. So friendly and good food and drinks. Room size was good and the balcony was nice.

The room door doesn't have very good sound proofing. Could hear the loud music from the Cabana until late both Friday and Saturday night. The spa bath was smaller than expected, but just went in the pool instead. There are no pictures of the spa bath on Booking.com, may be beneficial to add one so guests know what to expect. Doesn't take away from the overall 5 star rating though!

Great spot in a great location Room was massive for the $ Bathroom was almost as large as the bedroom area A little bare as far as furnishings go but thoroughly enjoyed a quick getaway Good restaurants and bars right underneath Close proximity to quality gourmet supermarkets, bottle shops and petrol stations if needed.

There was a lot to like about this property and It was difficult to critique, especially for the conservative dollar figures that it was offered for. It might sound picky but it felt a bit bare, polished concrete floors with not much in the way of furnishings which would make it incredibly low maintenance from a business perspective whilst still appealing to to a minimalist/quick stay clientele - a tiny little nespresso machine or something would go a long way.

my particular room was very noisy all through the day and into the night probably due to it location. it caught all the noise for almost all the restaurants because of where it was situated. on a positive note the noise did stop at the official cut off time.
