Nautica Residences Hillarys

The property was easy to find and access to the keys out of hours was easy with great communication and instruction on what to do. The apartment was clean and tidy. We had an expected view of the ocean, with a bit of car park, but we knew that would be the view. I stayed here with my two children and felt safe and secure staying here alone with them. The evenings were mostly quiet. We enjoyed use of the pool, with towels provided. I loved that there were laundry facilities within the apartment and even laundry detergent available for use, these little extra touches made our stay more pleasant. Staff greeted us whenever we encountered them and everyone was helpful if we had any questions. When we checked out, we were able to leave our car in the secure underground car park for a few hours. Access through secure gates to Hillary’s boat harbour was great. We could easily pop out and grab a bite to eat or a snack. Great location, we plan on staying here again in the future.

Had to arrive before 5pm to collect the keys or arrange alternative methods but this was no problem for us and the staff on both occasions were very helpful. The room was very spacious and both rooms had en-suites. Was a lovely location and private complex with underground parking advantageous. Advantageous to have a car but if not then there is a bus route just at the top near the main road with good links to the trains.

Very little, Sauna didn't appear to work very well but no issue.

Excellent facilities and location. It was a very well equipped apartment. The sauna was a surprise extra bonus I hadnt appreciated on the list of facilities. Perfect after a day of beaching to relax in. On location restaurants and cafes were ideal but could be busy on weekends so make sure you book or are prepared in advance. Supermarket options were nearby if you had a car. Car park was underground in a secure facility giving me confidence that nothing bad would occur. Would stay again and recommend to others.

It would have been good to know in advance that reception closed at 5pm. I had an update email sent to me informing me that keys would have otherwise been available via lockbox but I was a briefly panicked thinking that I wasn't going to get there on time.

For starters a nice ritzy suburb, the accom forms part of a very clean vessel harbour surrounded by its own resort style boardwalk with eateries, pubs (with happy hour), shops and even a large southbank type swimming beach area. Very neat rooms with all facilities provided..staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful, especially the cleaners (also granted a late checkout for son and young fam before long haul flight)…thankyou Nautica

The property was large, clean, close to shops, water activities and transport to Rottnest Island. The self-contained apartment made it easy to make own breakfast, lunch or snacks when not choosing to eat at the many close restaurants close to the apartments. The pool was great for the kids, teenagers when parents out at the local bars which are literally in walking distance. The premises is also secure so can rest assure that the children were always safe.

The stairs to access the top floors, not suitable for those with walking difficulties or disabilities so ensure request lower level apartments. The windows need to be sound proofed as if sleeping on the inner side of the apartments noise travels.

The location and surrounds is perfect with so many things to do at Hillarys. An endless choice of shops, cafes and restaurants so you don't need to leave but if you do you also have easy access to the main roads and freeway.

One item that could be improved. The cobblestone or rough tiled flooring is very difficult to move suitcases across and is also quite a trip hazard.

The location is great, near beautiful Sorrento beach and hillarys, where there are a lot of stores and restaurants. Good for people who have kids. There is also a pool in the property and free parking. The apartment itself is very big, it has two big bedrooms, with confy beds and pillows. The shower was good and everything was very clean. The apartment had a kitchen with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The aircon was functioning properly We loved our stay and would come back

The wifi was not strong and there was no aircon in the bedrooms The location is good, but we could hear people talking outside during the night. It did not kept us from sleeping though.

The unit was clean and comfortable with all you need for a couple or 4 people. The view from the balcony takes in the ocean and the marina. The units are right next door to the Hillary's Boat Harbour so there are a variety of food options from restaurants to casual dining and takeaway options, plus a variety of boutique shops to browse. The beach is only a short walk away if you enjoy a walk along the beach..

Only 2 negatives. The unit is located on the 3rd level and there is no lift, so from the carpark to the unit required going up 3 flights of stairs which as you get older with luggage is a little challenging, and if you have mobility issues would be a problem. The lack of a lift is made clear in the property description. The other thing to note is that sitting on the balcony is best done in the morning as once the sun comes over it is quite hot to sit outside as there is no cover or awning over the balcony.

No lifts however there is a slop from reception to ground floor apartments don't know why need key to get into car park from within the complex when taking heavy luggage to put in car tv is on Sydney time not Perth time so guide for tv programs hard to follow. hot tap and cold tapl turn on in opposite direction so can be a burn hazard easy to forget witch way to turn off hot tap it is clock wise to turn off. Hot tap.

location was excellent and choice of bars and cafes and shops within walking distance. all staff were great it was clean and we felt looked after by them. underground parking is a great benefit and a pool and washing line. even though we felt safe at all times the security was great with lockable doors into the complex and car park. short walk to the beautiful beach.

the beds were a little uncomfortable. asked to separate recycling not a problem but noticed around the resort too there were not separate recycling bins so would think some waste does happen. could just label the 2 bins next to each other one recycling and one general waste
