We really liked the look of the hotel and the restaurant, we had dinner there on our first night and it was was delicious, breakfast was good too. The location was great, peaceful but so close to everything. There was a gorgeous covered outdoor area for drinks and snacks, this was really pretty and the heaters kept it cosy and warm.

Unfortunately we had a small ground floor room (room 3) which everyone had to walk past to get to and from reception . We couldn't open the curtains when we were inside without feeling very overlooked, which was a bit gloomy. There was also a smoking bench right outside our bedroom window which was very intrusive. We would stay again, but in a different room.

Everything was perfect; a kind, charming (for real) laid back but attentive host who thought of every little detail. The suite was comfortable, huge, and quirky- very 'non-hotel' cookie cutter. Location is killer for sightseeing, walking, but also feels miles away in terms of peacefulness. He thoughtfully provides fantastic trappist beers at supermarket/wholesale cost in your room. The deck was a lovely little oasis, the bed was comfy, everything was super clean, and for what you get, the value is incredible. The large breakfasts are typical Belgian fare, and cooked with love and skill. Worth the money- you can often times skip a lunch, they are so big.

Maybe if there were a petting zoo? lol. Nothing; it was perfect.

The room was lovely, quiet and private, with a gorgeous view over the Minnewater park nearby. The bed was super comfortable and we slept well in the quiet each night, which is always the aim but not always what is achieved when staying in a hotel. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. We only ate once in the restaurant but the meal was very good. The whole hotel has a nice atmosphere - an old building, but modern decor, a lively restaurant and bar in a quiet park, far from the crowds but just a short walk to the busy areas of the city.

Really nothing. If I had to comment, I'd say that the bathroom design was a bit odd, with little space to put your own things, as the hand basin was really, really huge. But that is nit-picking, and didn't detract from the pleasure of our stay at what is a really lovely property.

Stylish welcoming and great location. Staff were helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room was quirky and looked good making the most of the roof space but a little awkward to walk around the bed. lighting & heating controls were good but more complex than needed and clearly previous guests have had difficulty getting to grips with the controls as the panel had been damaged. The Media TV constantly notified that ‘storage capacity was running out’ but no obvious way to remedy. 2 pillows were provided which made sitting on the bed comfortable but for sleeping one was square and too large and one was a bit to thin so didn’t sleep as well as we could have.

Location superb. Safe parking for cars - very helpful with that too. Staff very pleasant on arrival and during stay. Rooms very nice. Complimentary glass of bubbly was nice bonus.

Staff could have been more attentive in evening when visiting the bar outside under the canopy. Yes they were busy but hard to get their attention at times. Nice for breakfast to be a bit earlier for start. Room smaller than expected.

Beautiful hotel, facilities (especially the garden/bar area), rooms. Location in the park is paradise.

We did not like that the reception staff asked very strongly to decide the day before at what time we wanted to have breakfast. We're on vacation, we don't want to plan ahead. Also, it's a pity that the wonderful terrace/bar area has limited opening hours. There are many times during the day when we would have loved to sit there for a bit just for a coffee, and it was closed

Comfy bed, clean, well decorated. Coffee tea provided, hairdryer, safe. Quiet. Amazing location in the park, 10mins walk from the station. The outside bar was amazing. Warm and cozy and welcoming.

For the price, the room was average size, I felt some of the photos were misleading - the description should definitely state that baths are only available in suite rooms. I did not realise this.

The breakfast was great. Lovely presentation and the right amount of food. The restaurant food was excellent and the ambience very chilled. Great place to have a good meal with friends or just between yourselves

The lighting and aircon pad in the room was a bit confusing so ended up being very hot during my stay. Also had issues with charging up my phone and labtop in the room but they were very kind to help me charge things up at reception for me.

This hotel is perfect for couples. We arrived by train and asked to keep our bags before being able to check-in, and when we came back the bags were already in our room. Little details that make the stay incredible. We also enjoyed a lot the amazing breakfast and the welcoming drink at the outdoor bar.

The hotel was pristine in decor and cleanliness. It was ideally situated for relaxing and exploring Brugge. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The attention to detail in all aspects, and throughout our stay was exceptional. The restaurant was popular, the food was delicious and expertly presented. The breakfast was amazing! - a tower of continental breads, meats, cheeses and treats even for me being Gluten Free, along with a menu for hot food made fresh to order.
