I liked the location, the nice room, the surroundings. The breakfast was really good, fresh prepared. The host was extremely nice and really taking care of the guests. I liked the proactive communication. We got messages with the information about the stay. Everything in the room and in the dining area is done with love to the details. (see attached photos. For the families with small kids there is a playground. Location is very close to Brugge (just 5 min drive). But definitely it is location where you need a car.

Actually it is not about something totally wrong, but ... The description how to find the location has to be more detailed since you go of the main road and the houses are quite far away from the road. There is a small sign pointing there but easy to miss it. What we were missing is in the bathroom, shower area anything to put the cloths and to put the towels. Some hooks on the wall close to the shower and close to the washstand would resolve the issue.

The owners were just lovely! We arrived far earlier than planned but they were so welcoming and let us into our room early anyway. The lady was so helpful and informative. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous, a quiet farm out the way, but still easily accessible via var or foot. The animals were beautiful and we had so much fun playing with the dogs- we love dogs but the owner had asked whether or not were were OK with them and offered to put them inside if we weren't. The room was absolutely stunning, shower was perfect and the bed was super comfortable. There's a fridge in the room stocked up with drinks, and a coffee machine (some thing are complimentary and some chargable). Overall, we had a great time for my partners birthday weekend trip, and would definitely book again!

There is nothing we can complain about.

Location was lovely and the place is amazing for families! There is a little are of games for children's and also animals The room was really nice decorated! There is an open space to make picnics and enjoy a sunny afternoon with the family.

Everything was really nice. Maybe the only point to consider for some families is that you need to walk in stairs to go to the room, for us was no issue.

Excellent property with a friendly host. Lot of play possibilities for the kids. Breakfast was excellent thought a bit on the pricey side. Clean room and toilets. Nice location outside of the business of the city

Breakfast could be a bit cheaper but i can understand that they only have very few guests and need to balance the variety.

It was a fantastic B&B, so one of the best stay experiences while our family traveled to Bruges/Brussels. Gwenny was a wonderful host - very polite and friendly, for any requests, she will have a solution. The hosts have transformed a run-down farm into a beautiful space. Lush greenery, farmlands, hen pens, horses, donkey, sheep etc makes the space lively & with a robotic lawn mover running around :). There are a freestanding play area and game options as well, kids would live it. Breakfast was awesome - made and set by the host which is served in a stand-alone dine/kitchen area. Bruges town center was 5 minutes drive from the B&B and we chose the station parking EUR 5.50 which was an easy walk to the center (or you will a free bus ticket for the day) & train to Brussels. Last but not least - Gwenny was super fast in responding to queries via bookings.com messenger. Hosts living on the property and fully handling themselves is a positive.

Nothing specific to say, as all the requests were handled with care by Gwenny. So will definitely go there if we travel in the area.

Owner super Nice and friendly, very beautiful farm environment that requires a car, but not far from historic center. The room is a super spa io US and nicely decorated apartment with a living room and mini bar.

Water could be warmer, I love a hot bath!

The host Gwenn was great, very helpful and accommodating. She let our two children feed some of the farm animals that they have. Great breakfast and had gluten free options for our children.

Not making use of the Belgium beer in the fridge which I only found in the morning of departure!!

Comfortable, clean and adecuately adapted for a nice vacation. The hostess was very nice and available.

The placement is a bit far from the city center and the nearest bus station is about 15 min by foot going through a rough path not very nice when you have to carry your luggage.

Even though it was just one night in a very busy time, we found all very nice. Gwenny the owner was so attentive all time even previous to our stay messaging us to be sure we were fine; the cherry was the breakfast! spectacular and delicious! it was like your family...

What a great place. You can see in every detail how much attention and thought they put into this place. They really care about the place and to the fact that guests feel at home. The breakfast was incredible. The only bad thing about Hoeve Charttreuse is that we couldn't stay longer.
