This little hotel was just exactly what we needed. It's not at all fancy, but it was clean, comfy and perfectly located. It's steps away from restaurants, bars and shopping. We were concerned about noise as it's right across from the Mannequin Pis fountain, but we found it not bad at all. The staff we met were helpful and lovely. Though we didn't partake, breakfast is an extra option and it smelled delicious. We'd stay there again!

Be prepared for some stairs. They are a little narrow and there are a couple of flights.

Location was excellent by the Mannekin Pis, near the Grand Place. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful (allowed us to leave our bags on check-out day and collect later to fit with our onward travel). Had a small fridge and a safe. Linen changed daily. Water dispenser downstairs (free water is a bonus in Belgium!) with cold or hot water. Good value for money. We took 3 rooms for the family. The rooms on floors 2 (room 4) and 3 (room 6) were brightly decorated with views of the Mannekin Pis.

The stairs! Very steep, narrow, spiral stone staircase. We took 3 rooms for the family and my son drew the short straw and had to climb 3 flights to room 6. If you can't lift your suitcase to around waist height, this is not the hotel for you. Room 2 (first floor) was decorated in dark colours so seemed dingier smaller than the other rooms. Shower head was poor in room 4 and just dribbled and door didn't close. Could not see the MP from room 2 because of the hotel sign. We were there mid-week so not much noise from other tourists outside but some noisy early-morning lorry deliveries.

This is a very small hotell behind a souvenir shop. The location is incredible, right in the middle. The room was small and simple but charming and clean. I stayed with my pre-teen son and we had a great time, since it's so easy to explore Brussels from this very central location. The staff were nice and went out of their way to be helpful.

This is not the place to stay if you want to sit around the hotel, but it's very highly recommended if you come to see Brussels.

Location is great, very central to Brussels and opposite the Mannekin Pis statue. Always a crowd there morning, evening and night. The windows provide complete sound-proofing so it was not a bother, but rather amusing to look out the window at the crowds taking photos. It's a very laid back affair. You'll get the key off the people running the gift shop below, there isn't a reception or anything. They did left me leave my bag behind on the last day so I could explore without it before heading back to the Eurostar (which is about a 15-20min walk, or 10min by tram).

The stairs are steep, weren't a problem but they definitely could be for some people. No lift.

Excellent location, next to Maneken Pis. The flip side is that it could be noisy at night. Generally the room was quite comfortable with enough space for that pirce (and taking into account shortage of accommodation so near the Grande Place).

Don't come with large suitcases. I was on the 2nd floor and the stairs are narrow and steep. No lift. Also there was no kettle in the room although you could make tea/coffee using a dispenser next to the reception.

Terrific little hotel literally over the road from Manneken Pis. Staff were very friendly and attentive, which made it great value for money considering the astronomical prices of other hotels close by. Whilst basic, the bed was comfy, and contrary to other reviews on here we found there to be enough space for both our luggage and room to maneuver.

This hotel probably wouldn't be the best for those with mobility issues or significant amounts of luggage. The stairs leading to the room were spiralled and incredibly narrow, making it a challenge to walk up with anything more than a drink in hand. It's also worth noting that these rooms are not air conditioned, meaning at times the room got pretty stuffy. Overall basic in terms of amenities and room quality, but more than made up for by its location and price point. Would recommend.

Great location close to the center and public transport. The room was very cozy and the WiFi very fast - I had to work quite a bit while there and participate in meetings, and it never let me down.

The desk was quite small and with the fridge right underneath, so I struggled a bit to sit and work. The bathroom door didn't close properly and kept opening, but I put something in front of it and that stopped it.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It is in the centre of town near the Manneken pis statue and close to the grand place. We enjoyed the atmosphere of a bustling street with plenty of people watching from our window.

It suited us down to the ground but don't come here if you have mobility issues as the stairs are narrow and steep. Also it can be noisy but the windows are soundproof once closed.

Great location in central part of city. Can walk everywhere. You have to manage your expectations when staying here. There is a pay off. The location is fantastic, but what comes with that is the noise from outside. Be prepared to be woken up by rowdy drunks and shop alarms. Especially at weekends. Won't find a cheaper place in Brussels though! Also the stairs to the rooms are tricky if you are infirm and have lots of luggage. Spent very little time in the room overall.

Considering the crazy prices around in Brussels and the very central position, this hotel is not so bad - although normally for 140 euros you use to get something much better until a couple of years ago. Anyway, it is clean, rooms are small but enough for a 2 days stay and one person only.

The stairs to get to the third floor are a bit complicated, especially when going down. Not really suitable for elderly elderly people.
