The service at check in and with the concierge were excellent. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was great. The location was great. We loved it that they gave us a birthday cake in our room at check in as it was a really special birthday. We really liked the live music in the bar on the friday night. We really appreciated the restaurant recommendations, in advance and also whilst there. We liked it that the hotel arranged our guided walking tour (which was great) and also booked in all of our restaurants. We loved Claudio's service when we had our breakfast, it was really busy but he didn't make us feel at all rushed and took the time to chat to us and ensure we had everything we needed.

The restaurant was hit and miss. Our food took a while to come, it was a friday night but the restaurant was not full. Our drinks order took a while to be taken. The pasta main meal was not warm and so was sent back and taken off of our bill. We ordered cheese and biscuits as a replacement and waited a very long time. When we said we would like to cancel the order if they did not arrive within the next five minutes they then appeared very quickly. There was a bit of a que at breakfast on the day we checked out. We were encouraged to collect some food from the buffet and eat in the bar area, which was very far away. This did not work for us so we waited instead. The breakfast selection was very nice.

Location is excellent; it locates the heart of Brussels attractions, it is the focus of all around. The staff are absolutely more than perfect, especially Marc, and Haluk and some others sorry I did not their names. Although we met with big problems with our vehicle which disrupted our rest journey, however, the luciest thing was I chose this hotel, because of the staffs and their nice and professionalism of service. 5 stars for recommending the hotel, for their service and for the locations.

Breakfast was a disaster !! We were very disappointed as requested warm milk with our tea ..tea arrived 15 minutes later but no milk...we had to ask the same lady serving us 3 times but can you believe we never got the milk ....when we complained the excuse given to us was that you arrived late for breakfast....we were told breakfast service ended at 11am....we arrived at 10:25am for breakfast !!! and other guests arrived after us ....Also most 5 star hotels provide tea and coffee facilities in your room ...Amigo did not have these facilities which was disappointing....

We arrived to find the foyer packed as a party from a river cruise had just turned up Many suitcases in the hall Good to see that they are running a successful hotel. Staff were very good indeed Check in and reception hand picked for the job and very capable and friendly

If there was a problem it was that the other people we met could not get into their room until 3.45pm, They arrived at 10.00, There was a good explanation but still not quite what you want I also think customers should be informed that you take a pre authorisation charge on their cards as this shows up on the bank app without knowledge of it from the hotel Unless I missed it in the small print

This hotel was exceptional! The location couldn’t be better: one block from the Grand-Place and one block from Mannekin Pis, and near stores and restaurants, just perfect to walk around. The room was really comfortable, king size beds are not easy to fin in Europe. Good size, super clean, fluffy pillows, modern barhroom etc The staff was extra helpful, the concierge super nice!! Beautiful decor, delicious restaurant Bocconi and the bar was a nice place to have a drink surrounded by celebrity pictures who had been there. Loved this hotel!

The hotel is located in a historical part of Brussels, just a 5-minute walk from the Grand' Place. The sheer luxury here is evident in the facilities, and in the welcoming and pleasant staff that make the stay even better. The friendliness of the outdoor staff, receptionist, concierge, and food and beverage staff is outstanding, and never for a moment made us feel anything but a friendly welcome. The hotel is charming, and very luxuriously appointed. The Hotel's Ristorante Bocconi served up very good cooking and again, a most engaging and helpful staff. Combine all of these amenities and the location and it is an unbeatable, if expensive, choice for a grand stay in Brussels.

Really, to complain would be churlish. There isn't anything about the Amigo that warrants negative comment. If I could make a suggestion, I would ask that that the hours for the pianist in the bar be extended to a little later in the evening. Most travelers, like us, will be coming in later after dinner (as we did from the Bocconi restaurant in-house) one night. We were only able to catch a few moments of the bar entertainment, when it would have been a nice way to cap off the evening with a drink and some fine music. Other than that, what a nice stay!

The hotel has a classic European vibe to it, from the helpful and pleasant staff, to the old-style and very well maintained décor. The front desk and concierge took the time to help us locate an open pharmacy on Sunday to perform an antigen test prior to our return flight. Celebrating a marriage anniversary there, we got an upgraded room for no additional charge, along with a plate of delicious Belgian sweets! The room is maintained twice a day (around noon and in the evening). The free WiFi in the room was very fast! Highly recommended!

Full breakfast was a little expensive - 68 euro per couple.

The location was great; staff truly superb The consierge was so helpful in getting me reservations. The whole facility is so well maintained; excellent dinner in the dining room (Bococo)

My only complaint was the breakfast service in the dining room . 0ne morning i waited 45 minutes just to give my order. Finally walked out. I kept asking to be served and get a pot of coffee - neither happened . Others were being served but not me. The front desk staff was kind enough to take the charge off my bill. Not a great way to start the day. Fortunately everything else was perfect.

Me and my husband were very pleased with the experience at this hotel, the welcoming of the staff, the location and food!

We are on our honeymoon and had a very good time, thanks! We actually extended our stay for 1 more night.. but We were actually disappointed that our request for a late check out till 4 pm was not met, we have a train to Amsterdam at 5 and we explained that to the receptionist but unfortunately he said could only give us the room till 1 pm free of charge… not what we expected..

TV did not work but the hotel reacted well and quickly moved us to a nicer room At breakfast coffee had to be repeatedly requested When paying they charged my card before asking if I was happy for them to charge that card or use an alternative card, which we did They offered to organise refund and charging our preferred card but we did not have enough time available to do this
