The friendliness and wealth of knowledge on what is good to explore from the Host was so valuable to us. We took all of Karens advice and it rounded our trip out so beautifully. The B&B was in the perfect location to walk to the centre of Ypres and was also a great central base to drive to many of the tourist locations. We had the 2 bedroom suite at the top of the B&B and it immediately felt like a home from home

we didn't like having to come back home. our trip was so easy and relaxing that leaving was hard. one thing that would be nice to have in the suite would be a USB charging hub so charging phones ect could be easier but this by no means takes away from the comfort of the stay.

Karen and her family are interested in people not just business. From start to finish care and professionalism are shown. Karen loves the area of Belgium you are in and her enthusiasm is great, explaining things and making sure the guests get the best from their visit.

It's rare I ever fill one of these reviews out but after our welcome and stay at Juliettes feel I must. My son and I had just spent 2 nights in another more expensive property in France and I chose to say nothing when prompted by booking.com to leave a review. Usually nothing being said speaks volumes!! Neither my nor I can think on anything we didn't like about our stay at Juliettes.

De familyroom is very spacious. Two bedrooms, livingroom and bathroom for a very very fair price. Some board- and other games in the room for children were a Nice surprice. Coffee, tea and water were available in the room. Breakfast was definitly ok and the host was very friendly. We were allowed to check in early and all our questions were answered. If we return to Ieper, we will stay again here without doubt. Location is superb. Only 5’ walk to the center. Free parking right in front. Maybe the view is not the most adorable, but even that is more than ok.

Only one small remark: in the livingroom there is wall to wall (very clean!!!) carpet. Maybe this is important for people who have an allergy of Some kind. But it did not bother us at all although my doughter is allergic for dust, she slept like a rose with only a few sneezes in the morning. (Replacement maybe worth a future investment?)

Karen (and not to forget her great supporter and husband Aldwin) was fabulous. Except she know what service means, she goes beyond what is known for 'normal' hospitality in the hotel/B&B buisiness. Giving personal attention to my American clients and sharing private details about her life and family. Wow. We laughed a lot and shared ideas. This is what you are making happy. She should receive a reward for being so attentive and interested in thier guests lives and travelplans. Kudoos for Karen, a hard working mother with a fantastic feeling into making guests their friends. And of course a top-notch B&B.

Clean, comfortable B&B owned and managed by a very pleasant, friendly and helpful young couple. A reasonably sized room but more than compensated by a large balcony with comfortable furniture. Excellent location very close to town centre reached in about 10 minutes by foot. Ample free parking both on road outside property and opposite in parking area. Communal room for breakfast and good opportunity to talk to other guests. We felt as though we were in a typical Belgian house almost as friends rather than guests.

Slightly unusual ‘en-suite’ facilities with separate toilet across the room from shower and wash basin area but all right for a night or two. This is more a personal preference rather than a criticism. Would happily stay again.

Travelling as a family of 3 this space was perfect for us, it was our own apartment with lounge, 2 bed rooms, bathroom. Great space, really home from home feel. Nice touches with Microwave, tea and coffee facility. Great location, quiet and easy to get to from the station. Close to walk into the centre Our host Karen was ver accommodation, helpful and really friendly and knowledgable. Felt really welcome and breakfast was very generous

It is a 5 minute walk from the main square with lots of restaurants, the cathedral and the WW1 museum. In front of its entrance there is a large free car park. The host Karen is kind, sociable and helpful. Our room was very clean, the bed had an extremely comfortable mattress, and we had free water, tea and coffee available in the room. Very good breakfast and Karen tries to cater for all needs. A great experience.

breakfast was excellent, location was spot on - our room was perfect - we had a balcony which we used, the only one negative was our friends room you had to go outside the room to use the toilet - it was private room - but had to go into the corridor - but this would certainly not put us off as everything else was perfect

only the positioning of the W/C for our friends room , but not a major problem

Fantastic bnb that you can explore Ypres from by foot! Close to the bus station and main centre of town. Owners are very friendly and The entire premises was clean and well maintained. The room felt like a hotel and was incredibly comfortable. The host also offered plenty of information on what to see and do in town and how to get around. The breakfast spread was fantastic!

We stayed in the family suite which was very spacious with a double, twin and its own lounge. There was no aircon but with a fan and the windows open it was ok. There were great tea/coffee and snacks in the room and a good supply downstairs (for a nominal donation) for hungry teenagers! The host met us and gave us lots of info about the town and tips on where to eat which was very helpful. A good selection of food at breakfast. They were so friendly.

Air con would have been good but the weather was unusually hot in July!
