The hotel is nice, location - good, staff - very friendly. Overall a good impression.

I was not picked up at the airport, although I've writing several times on Booking.com "contact the property". Very upsetting! Especially, because 3 of the people from front desk and the travel agency representative were not able to tell me who is responsible, what is the procedure or the phone number to book an airport pick up. The pickup is complimentary for hotel guests, but not the drop off. Even if I was not picked up ( had to pay a taxi myself), I am going to be charged for the return. I'll be following on this issue and demand a refund of the shuttle booking. Will raise an official complaint.

rooms are clean and neat , and service is good. , at front desk , if you requested and extra pillow within five minutes staff is at your door . check in was fast

breakfast , not ready , no hot water for tea , scrambled eggs was empty cakes weren’t good I have stayed here over and over and this time this is one of my favorite hotels and I have many business associates stay here to meet us to do business but breakfast wasn’t worth the money that I spent with my colleague this time very disappointed

The location is great, you can walk to many places in Botafogo! We cycled along the beaches and explored all of Rio's amazing sights. The staff is very nice and the rooms are very clean.

The check in was very slow as other guests arrived at the same time. We had an issue with our AC unit in the middle of the night but the staff was amazing and relocated us to the room across the hall in no time! Amazing stay!

this time I see major improvements can upgrade some more , basically it meet our standards

Resturant breakfast is good. but some pastry’s that I took to eat , couldn’t eat and looking for an cup for coffee. was an wait shortage of black tea which is an favorite for most , there were none left also for security reasons. hotel had an security team which is great , but when my Uber or privacy car came to pick up all cars stay on side of hotel. for pick up the front sidewalk crub is high and 90% won’t try to come up when you have luggage and taking care of in the front of hotel that makes it 5 star on side street ???

Staff was VERY good every issue that came up they dealt with right away. location is amazing food spots right around the corner also the metro station is right around the corner as well as the beach. not the best beach around but a nice walk breakfast was alright not the best but ok

A decent hotel, you get what you pay for. Ibis is more or less the same in any city so it was good to be certain of a good hotel before arriving. The location of this specific hotel is great if you're looking to visit the main touristic attraction. Breakfast was beyond expected but a little bit on the expensive side.

The view wasn't incredible but I understand that depends on the room you're allocated.

I think the breakfast service could be improved. We stayed there for a few days and pretty much everyday we had to wait for a clean mug so we could have coffee as it was all taken because it is a busy place. They could buy more mugs or make sure it gets to be washed faster or something.

the hotel is in a convenient location, not far from the airport and downtown, close to restaurants and bars. Room was very clean and our room was quiet at night. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was really good.

The building was not new, the carpets, walls, and furniture looked a bit grimy and worn, but in general was acceptable.

The rooms are well-equipped and clean, including a safe and a mini-fridge. The location is ok, as you have the Botafogo metro station nearby. The personnel is accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was not remarkable but fair.

It was a little bit of noise because of other guests. The door to access the shower was about to break.

It was a standard IBIS hotel, slightly outdated furniture and curtains, slightly filthy carpet in the hallway. At the front desk, with the exception of 1-2 people, no one spoke English. Registration takes a long time.
