This was such a wonderful stay here in Copacabana! I recommend Windsor Copa to all who are looking for a safe and excellent place to rest your head while in Rio. I have to say nice things about the following people: Lucas Almeida, Leonardo and Gleyce. From the time I arrived till the time I left, they were extremely kind, kind, compassionate, and accommodating! They helped me with everything I asked for, and I am very grateful. This is my third time staying at Windsor Copa and I will be back next time I am in Rio. Brazil is such a wonderful country to come explore! Make sure you stay here at Windsor Copa to make it the very best time.

Breakfast & gym hall were OK. The view from our room, at a higher floor, even if it did not looked upon towards Copacabana (which was ridiculously close to the hotel though) was fine as we were able to see another Sugarloaf-like hill in the back of the high street. We had not so common choices for restaurants (”Bonde Boca” on Rua Barata Ribeiro 51, authentic Brazilian experience) and tried to 'evade' hotel experience by choosing from the many cafés around (MINI JOE'S Café, close to the hotel, an excellent choice).

As we were for the first time in Rio we have welcomed better info from the hotel reception about what is THE experience of Rio. But in no way scarce infos on this matter have prevented our daily routine.

Location, location, location! Two blocks from the beach and also two blocks from a supermarket. We picked the hotel because of the location and we were not disappointed. It’s a nice hotel and we were there when it was 98° so it would’ve been great if they had the pool but unfortunately they do not. Still, AC works great! Good security at the door which adds to the feeling of safety, Rio is sketchy so that’s just a fact of the city and they mitigate that sketchiness by having security guys, we appreciated them! Breakfast was also a nice addition and it was a good assortment of breakfast foods. Shout out to Leonardo at the front desk who was lovely and friendly and luckily we were able to check in at noon which was priceless after a 15 hour flight day! No pool but we knew that ahead of time so not a dealbreaker by any means.

The staff was excellent and very accommodating with my level of Portuguese, ensuring that I really understood what was communicated to me.

The AC is a bit noisy (and old) and temperature control doesn't really work, it's either nothing or very cold. The fridge in the room is a bit noisy too. The room I was given was for a twin bed (I assume) and transformed into a double bed, however that meant that the light switches were now behind the pillows.. so I turned the lights on in my sleep quite a bit. Not a major problem but to be noted.

Great hotel a block away from Copacabana Beach and a block from the Cardenal Arcoverde metro station. The staff is extremely helpful in providing information. There are attendants standing outside the door to assist guests and to enhance a feeling of safety. There are stores, restaurants, and rent-a-bike stations nearby. The hotel will store your bags if needed before or after checkout and if you arrive in the morning after a long flight, and a room is available, they may be able to accommodate you for a half-rate charge.

The location is perfect, the beach is literally behind the corner and very close to all highlights spots of Rio. The twin room has very comfortable 2 large beds.

I had only one issue - with the payment. My credit card (visa) did not work via neither booking nor at the hotel. I dont know the reason. It worked in all other places in BRL. Fortunately the card of my friend worked. The staff at the hotel was very kind and we solved everything successfully…..at the end everything was ok.

location was excelent, especially for this price. staff was extremely nice and helpful, english speaking. no problems at all. breakfast was good. they even offered beach towels.

the room was quit compact so no space for luggage, but we had small ones. id add tea/coffee accessories but its also not critical. the only thing that bothered - our room was facing elevators so i could hear noise from that. but again, for this price its ok.

Location is great, one block away from the beach, walking distance to a Metro station, friendly staff, great ability to communicate in English....gave us suggestions for visting. Compared to it's "big" brother hotel the Windsor Excelsior...where I stayed for a few nights before, the difference is HUGE...Excelsior should take lessons in Customer service.

Breakfast is pricey....could have "budget: menu for those that do not want a full breakfast.

The hotel has a great location and the staff are very helpful. Copacabana beach is a couple of minutes away and there are lots of restaurants to choose from. The room including bathroom were cleaned each day to a high standard and a problem we had was fixed very promptly. The fitness room had limited equipment but was a good option, very quiet and had a iced water machine. Overall a great place to be a base to explore the city.

The room was quite small and window looked onto a wall.

- Perfect location : 5 minutes walking from the first Copacabana Metro Station (Cardeal Arcoverde), 200 meters away from Copacabana beach. Close to restaurants, bars, a couple of nightclubs, shops, etc... (I was able to get my antigen test 200m away from the hotel in a clinic located nearby). - Great Staff : Always available and ready to help. Good room service - Very good breakfast and restaurant: The buffet is very good. The restaurant food is good as well. - Bed: Comfortable bed - Clean: Room may be cleaned everyday so it can hardly get cleaner than that

As my room was right next to the elevator, it got a bit noisy at times, but the room is still quite well soundproof so it was nothing major that prevented me from resting... Nothing else.
