Everything about this place is delightful. Amazing location, meters away from all high recommended restaurants and places. At the heart of the city centre but without the nuisance that comes with it. The place looks beautiful. The staff is outstanding and helped me with tips and directions. Special thanks to Sophan for her help and support. They can also arrange for your tuk tuk transportation. Do ask for Aon to be your driver, he is amazing! Recommend to all.

Bed is a bit hard, like medical mattress. Good for the back but not the bouncy hotel mattress I am used to.

The room is spacious and a walking distance from the riverside and market. Staff are great, we appreciate their responsiveness with our needs. Our trip to Siem Reap got delayed and have to book another van which means late pick-up but the tuktuk driver, Mr. Rambutan waited for us and even picked us up at the new place where we descended despite the later pick-up time; they also arranged a tuktuk for us to airport upon checking out. Breakfast are good as well. Thank you!

Our room is so big (3 beds) but the air condition is a little weak and can only be felt within the bed directly in the air con, and so my sister and I (3 of us) decided to share a bed just to quench the heat.

The staff is adorable there (special thanks to the young lady at reception who swiftly helped me before our departure when I was suddenly feeling very sick). The whole team at this hotel will truly always try their best to help you, with whatever you need. Our room was spacious (even had a bathtub!), very clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff came by everyday. The breakfast (included) was a delicious buffet with dark bread, brioches, toasts, mini croissants, butter and jam, sausages, baked potatoes, salad with dressings, Asian noodles, eggs to your liking, fresh fruits, fruit juices and coffee or tea. The pool is huge and beautiful, under the sun in the morning and slowly under the shade in the afternoon. The whole place with sunbeds and plants everywhere, alongside the eating area, invites to relaxation. The location is also great, as you can easily walk to the old market/pub street where you'll find tons of restaurants, bars, massage places etc. The hotel will help you arrange your tours around Siem Reap with the nicest tuk-tuk drivers - we miss you Rong! We stayed 5 days there and could've extended another week if our trip to Phnom Penh hadn't been booked yet. Overall 100% recommend. Bonus tip: you'll find amazing homemade pastries sold by the mom who owns the shop right behind the bamboo separation running along the hotel stairs going to rooms 48+. You can access said shop through the street outside...

The staff was super nice and helpful and did their best to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. Breakfasts were good with a slight variation every day and actually fresh (and personalized) omelette on demand. The hotel is located in a quite and nice area, yet just a few minutes walk from the centre. Amazing service for the value.

You could see that the place struggled during the pandemics and is now in need of some minor improvements. The room needed a visit a handyman's visit (things like slightly broken wardrobe doors), wifi kept disconnecting at certain times and water pressure in the sink and shower was a bit unstable. However, as I have mentioned before, for the offered price, the experience was superb, supported by exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel is just few hundred meters from the centre, in a calm location. We liked the tuk-tuk pickup from the airport. The breakfasts were tasty, 3-option choice. The room with air con, with a view to the pool, spacious balcony, clean bathroom. The ladies at the reception and restaurant were very kind. Overall we were satisfied with the 3-nights stay and would recommend the hotel. There is a bike rental just 50 meters from the hotel and massage about 100 m. Tuk tuks all the time available in front of the hotel.

Minor points: First day the pool was a bit cloudy but next day it was properly clean. The stairs were a bit steep so be careful when walking.

We had a great stay at Résidence Wat Damnak and the main reason for this was the exceptional service from Sreynith. She truly went above and beyond with regards to customer service. Always available via Whatsapp, she answered questions, helped book tours, tuk tuks and onward transportation. She checked-in on us daily in person to ensure everything was OK and she even followed-up after our departure to be sure we made it to our next destination safely! AMAZING SERVICE! Beyond that, the room was comfortable with good AC and the pool was a lovely relief from the heat.

The breakfast was good, but could have been a bit more generous and the coffee, as with many places was instant :-(. The hot water was variable and we did have a slight problem with power at the beginning of the stay, but it was quickly rectified.

The location is perfect. A few steps to pub street and the night market. The pool is good. The service is pretty nice. The free round trip (pick/drop) they offer is sweet! The breakfast is good but maybe need to change the menu every day.

What I didn't like in our room was the door type they used for the bathroom. It is a Texas saloon door type. People using the bathroom have lesser privacy because it only covers the middle part of the door. I suggest they need to change it and put in a standard door. Another thing they need to upgrade is the air conditioning unit. The room is big but the horsepower their air unit has might be very small and can't make the room reach the temperature we like which is 20 degrees.

We got a pool room. Which was very nice. I could park my car just outside the gate. Breakfast was OK considering the price. Room was big. Nice setting. Cool AC. Motorbike rental very close (important to me). Very good location. In walking distance to the nightmarket and touristic area. But still quite. Could enjoy a beer at the pool in the evening.

Nth negative to mention. Probably not the newest place.

The residence was perfect, location too and the breakfast was very good. They prepared also a breakfast box for us when we went to see the sunrise at the Angkor Wat. And mostly the staff was very kind and helped us with everything, also giving us the chance to do the tours to the Angkor and to the floating Village. The driver of our tuk tuk, Korng, is an excellent driver and has been very very kind and helped us with everything. Also the man and the ladies we met at the reception are very kind and helpful.

The staff are amazingly welcome and kind, and are willing to arrange tours for you and can even provide a SIM card. Location is perfect, 5 min to the markets and pub street but still in a quiet area. The place is kept really clean, with housekeeping and change of towels almost daily.

The AC system is quite old and didn't cool the room enough, made it a bit difficult to sleep for a couple of nights. The music by the pool was a bit too loud at times.
