The staff here were absolutely wonderful. From the airport pick up (included) with Sophia and her organising our tour to the meal service with Tong the whole team is amazing. Always offering to help and provide. We were offered vouchers for a lunch and massage which we were able to use right away and both were terrific. The staff looked after everything throughout our stay. We booked a tour to Angkor with them and it was also wonderful and reasonably priced. The pool was a good length and size and our son as well as us enjoyed its use several times. The breakfast was very good as well, the beds comfortable and the room well appointed. We would recommend staying here.

The staff at Golden Temple Retreat are outstanding. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and spa smile and greet you as if you are family. The massages at the spa were so good that we booked a massage for every night of our stay. Special mention to Daro and Tong for making us feel like royals and going the extra step to make sure our stay was excellent. The location is convenient. About 25 minute car ride from the airport, 20 minute car ride to Angkor Wat and 7 minute walk to Pub Street.

I liked how there was excellent attention to detail at every stop; every member of staff knew your name and greeted you accordingly. The room was comfortable and clean and the food in the restaurant was delicious. When it came to helping you to make arrangements, be it transport or excursions, the support was prompt, knowledgeable and thorough.

I guess it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room but that’s really clutching at straws.

The Golden Temple Retreat team was phenomenal! Huge thanks to Daro, Nacaa, and many more whose names I unfortunately forgot—we felt at home and well taken care of and left wishing we could extend our stay. Pros: EXCEPTIONAL service (very friendly, professional, and accommodating staff), airport round-trip transfer, tasty welcome drink and snacks, spacious room, gorgeous stone tub with nice salt scrub, comfortable bed, TV streaming options, amazing complimentary couples massage (my masseuse was heavenly!), complimentary lunch/dinner (we chose dinner), proximity to city center, quiet and safe area, beautiful property design, and gorgeous pool. Cambodia, in itself, blew our minds!

Cons: bathroom mirror height is too high and had average lighting, and food is good but could be improved (still grateful for the complimentary dinner). These are VERY minor cons.

Room was spacious. Service was top notch. Daro and everyone was excellent and so welcoming. Requests were always attended to.

Our room was a great size, lovely bathroom with "open plan" shower, ground level right beside the pool which is long and narrow. Great space outside the room to relax. The restaurant was decent, wine list limited but that didn't really matter as there are so many places in Siem Reap to eat. Hotel is well placed - near enough the centre but far enough to be quiet at night. The spa was a hidden gem - great therapists and a really good range of treatments at a very reasonable price which encouraged us to have more treatments than we would normally have. However, the best bit of staying at the Golden Temple retreat other than being able to chill for a few days amongst all the trips to the temples, mountains, museums etc. were the team in the hotel. They were exceptional - they smiled non stop, were super cheerful and helpful and in truth, they made our stay. I haven't stayed many places where the team were such a delight. It was a real shame to leave!

Not a lot to be honest. The restaurant food was perhaps a bit limited as was the wine list but that is a very minor point and didn't effect our stay in any way.

Absolutely wonderful! Everything was top-notch and the attention & care of the staff was superb. Ms. Sophek took exceptional care of us. She even found a way to sew back a button and fix my daughter's purse! Mr. Sok at the restaurant prepared a special ginger tea for me on the day I had stomach issues. The best customer service my family and I have ever experienced! We stayed for 5 nights and were sad to leave.

Absolutely amazing place! Loved everything about this hotel.

Everthing was nothing but great from the airport pick up!! The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the room was so stylish and clean. We also loved the pool with bars to cool off the heat from the daytime tour. The location of the hotel was perfect close to the city center and not too far away from the airport. I had been messaging with the hotel even before the stay about some tours to the heritages. The hotel booked us a perfect tour which was beyond divine. Mr. Thoeun and Mr. Chong has stayed with for two days trip. They gave us chilly waters everytime we went back to the van, and even cold towels. Guide Mr. Chong gave us a very detailed explanation about the temples which made our trips the best trip ever. Thanks to the two for the best moments ever:)
