This hotel is tucked away down a side street, quiet and safe, and about 10 minutes walk from Pub Street across the river. The lady manager was terrific - good English, attentive, and also did all the cooking. There is a small restaurant/bar area with a pretty extensive menu leaning towards Swiss / German specialities with generous portions. Lovely swimming pool, appaently recently refurbished. We had a huge room with an expansive balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean. New towels and water and the room was made up every day. Quiet and efficient aircon. Wet room style bathroom with a decent shower. Reliable fast wifi. 4 decent restaurants within walking distance covering all the bases (Thai, Georgian (!), and Italian) and the usual small supermarkets and street food options close by. Fantastic value for money given the standard of service and comfort at this hotel. Siem Reap and Angkor are desperate for visitors and it is very quiet at the moment. Strongly recommend that travellers take the plunge and visit NOW or at least within the next 6 months.

Some people might find the walk into the centre of town in the heat / rain a bit of a pain. We enjoyed it because there were many different routes one could take and lots of interesting local life and businesses to see. Easy to pick up a tuk tuk if you didn't want to walk.

i like how the bed is very soft and comfy and the location is walking distant to most of the attractions in Siem Reap

they should consider changing new set of towel as the fabric start to falls as in small dust after drying the body and i personally find it unhygienic. Worse is when I’m trying to apply product on my skin , the small clothes starts to rub on the skin as I was applying lotion for eg.

The owner was super lovely and kind. My fiancé had food poisoning and the owner’s wife made him a noodle soup to help him keep food down. The room was nice and spacious, super clean. The cleaners were super speedy and really made our room extra lovely everyday. The swimming pool was the highlight for us. So nice and big, clean and beautiful finished. The flowery trees really just made it extra pretty! Overall, would not change a thing about this stay. Lovely location, lovely people!

Our room was spacious and very clean also the balcony had a lovely view over the pool and city. The food at the restaurant was variegated and delicious. All staff members were so lovely and friendly always with a smile and ready to help you. The owner Pascal gave us such a warm welcome that made us feel at home. We enjoyed our staying at Sakun that we decided to extend our stay!

Absolutely nothing!

My colleague and I stayed at Sakun for about 3 weeks. And it felt like home. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is great, and the rooms comfortable, with good internet. We had a very good experience. Thank you, Pascal and team!

Food was fantastic! Staff were so nice. Room was really spacious! Location was perfect for us as it was within walking distance to the main streets but also away from the busy roads etc. it was quite and peaceful.

Air conditioning could have been stronger.

walking distance from city centre, great pool to relax and really quiet area. couple of Nice restaurants very close by. eet, very clean. Every dat cleaning and great towels. First time in Cambodia.

Nothing bad to say about this place, Owners are great, food was great, Staff friendly, location quiet and near the centre. Room had large balcony. Great value for the money.
