The location is great, being as close to the ski area as it is, and the room and hotel are one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed in. Almost similar class as the Paradox Hotel in Vancouver but with more of a mountain cabin feel. The Paradox room has a few amenities this one did not - radiant floor heating in the bathroom and electrically retractable shades. This room had a view of snow covered trees with the Whistler Gondola running behind them (see Outside photo). Like most Whistler hotels, this one has rooms with small kitchen areas. (There is a grocery store in the village within walking distance.) The room also has a gas fireplace.

Somehow a higher end hotel can not provide free WiFi to guests when other hotels can. $14.95 for Internet per day. Maybe it ties your internet surfing info to your payment info as an anti-crime measure or else to sell your surfing data. I don’t know because I did not read the contract - I did not sign up.

It was very quiet, the room had good space and warmth of design, very helpful kitchenette. They are pet friendly, so we could bring our cat along and not have to pay for a sitter back home, and they gave us an extra hour at checkout time which made for a more relaxed departure (ie., getting the cat, who didn't want to leave the cozy room, back in the carrier). Also, when we inquired about vending machines (not there) after a late evening swim, a kind staffer grabbed my son a can of 7-Up from their own store so that I didn't have to dash to the local grocery before it closed.

Just one thing: for some reason, the coffee/tea amenities had not been updated--one teabag and one coffee serving, plus old coffee still stuck in machine. Not quite set up for a two-night stay.

Everything about this property was excellent. Connected to the village, nice clean rooms, awesome environment, great and friendly staff, good amenities specially the heated pool and outdoor hot tub. Kids loved it. Would like to mention that the staff was excellent, Freddie made our check-in process very easy and comfortable and provided all the necessary information regarding our stay. He was excellent

The restaurant downstairs should offer halal meals for those who have dietary restrictions. The restaurant did had halal duck which was great and they did a gluten free pizza for my daughter which was awesome.

Location at the edge of Whistler Village was great, close enough to everything but much quieter than some other locations. Room was an upgrade, very spacious with a wraparound balcony and mountain view, great kitchen amenities - pool was on the small side so not so much for laps, but nice for lounging and for families. Well-equipped gym, two hot tubs, a dry sauna, and eucalyptus steam rooms in both change rooms - good business services, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for lounging and just hanging out.

No vending machines as an option for room service or their late-night lounge. In Whistler many places shut down early, and there aren't many convenience stores/grocery stores to begin with, so it's something I expected them to have. We ended up extending our stay for one more night, and discovered the front desk only does check-in and not bookings/extensions, which aren't even on-site - you have to call a separate line. This wasn't clearly communicated anywhere or by anyone, beforehand. While trying to extend our stay at the front desk, there was someone else being helped who was trying to do the same thing, so we're definitely not the only ones.

I liked the Pelotons in the workout room. Loved the dog bed and dog food bowls! Of course the Heavenly Bed was amazing! The Housekeeping staff was exceptional and I liked that I could schedule housekeeping. Also loved that the room had water when we arrived--so great for a resort in the mountains.

I would like better coffee makers in the rooms. The coffee in the restaurant opened later than I would have liked and it was pretty expensive. Even keeping a coffee urn in the lobby like Whistler Village Inn for those of us who are up early for first tracks would be great.

Location of the hotel is unbeatable (Ski in Ski Out) , Pet friendly, Ski/Snowboard Valet very efficicent, free hot chocolate each day apres ski is very much appreciated. Grab N Go cafe serves starbucks coffee, and Kaze on property is the best japanese restaurant in the area, possibly better than all of Vancouver's Japanese restaurants.

I wish the hotel has more shops, and more restaurants. I also wish the Spa was more professional, not ready to provide a spa experience and charged outrageous price for a 1 hour massage. The therapist was very good, but not the spa itself. Fitness center in the hotel is decent, but the whirlpool, sauna area seemed very chaotic with people freely walking in and out with shoes, and no door blocks off the access to the pool, sauna area from the gym.

We were visiting Whistler as part of a trip to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. On check in we were upgraded from a double room to a suite with a separate bedroom, balcony and mountain view … wonderful! All the staff were friendly and welcoming and it has a great location to access all the local amenities… lifts, restaurants, bars and shops. We hiked and biked during the day and loved coming back for a swim in the pool and relax in the hot tub before dinner

Great location close to gondolas and town centre. Dog friendly. Nice building, good food and friendly staff. Liked ski valet service.

Struggled to get our room cleaned first two days. Bit odd as this is hotel 101 and disappointing. Room service is expensive with pre defined service fees and gratuities. Room service food is served in disposable containers. Yuck. Ski valet at slopes only available 3/6 days we were at the hotel.

THE KITCHENETTE WAS AMAZING. Seriously every hotel needs a kitchenette. The tub size and shower was incredible. The dining room set was perfect for us. Loved that we didn't have to eat at the living room table. The bed was awfully hard and lumpy though. Wasn't a huge fan, for the $ my expectations on bed comfort was way higher. Balcony was awesome looking into the trees. Loved that we were a few steps from the village! loved that the TV had NETFLIX!!!!!!

The hair dryer IS SO OLD. I hate Conair, just a poor choice for a hair dryer. With such a High end resort... act like it. The coffee maker was also old and basic. Like come on. Do better!

Pool too small. Great temperatures though. We celebrated my wife's birthday and she was very happy. High expectations already set. Would come here again

Bigger pool would have been nice and more pool control. Large group of young teenagers were splashing and disregarding others around them, and not much parental control. I would have loved a few laps but it was nearly impossible
