This is our son's room with single King sized bed. He already checked out after two nights (we will stay in another room for 3 more nights). This is listed as 2-star hotel (and priced that way) I have to say it feels like more than 3 stars. The cleanliness, spacious room are the two standout. Good location and included breakfast are just icing on the cake. All in all, highly recommended especially for visiting parents with their children in Waterloo University. I know we will be back.

If I have to nitpick, it will be coffee on the breakfast (free of charge). I wish they have more variety other than just "light roasted".

This is a relatively new hotel so everything is quite bright, clean and fresh. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool was quite pleasant...could have been a little warmer and deeper but a swim was very welcome after a long, hard day. The common areas are spacious, clean and well appointed...simple and modern. A good, warm breakfast is always appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable. Surprisingly, the bed and especially the pillows and linens, were deliciously comfortable and cozy. We both had an excellent nights sleep which usually doesn't happen when we travel. A comfortable hotel with all the basic amenities that will not disappoint. Highly recommended!

The upholstery on the desk chair was badly soiled. No real excuse why it couldn't have been better cleaned. As this was the only chair in the room, we made do with what we had despite the condition.

Breakfast seemed to have a good variety but due to the set up, it was hard to tell. The hotel was very clean and the room was a great size……really impressed the young travellers I was with! They also loved the pool!

The breakfast set up needs to be addressed. I don’t mind that you chose to serve the eggs, meat and potatoes but ,due to lack of staff, they were cold by the time my toast and waffles were done. Also, lack of fruit! The area was very congested with people waiting for food, people dumping off their dirty dishes and trying to get juice or coffee. With breakfast possibly being the last impression for guests, I think you need to take action on these issues as soon as you can!

As soon as we pulled in and saw the line up of car chargers, I was impressed. It was so convenient and their was no price gauging sentiment before even checking in because of it. Loved the attendant served breakfast. It was fresh , presentable and safe. A good variety to choose from. It made for a pleasant start to our day compared to self serve.

The facilities were still under construction. When in full swing, I would hope the breakfast can be served more efficiency as the lines ups got substantial. Still a great business model to keep and i look forward to experiencing that again. Food allergy options would be a welcome improvement as my wife can not consume any gluten (wheat barley or rye). We had to eat elswhere for her as the staff did not have confidence in accommodating her needs

Staff was eager to please! Very friendly. Room was very clean and linens and bed super comfy.

Too many families on our floor that let their children run the halls yelling until 9 at night. All the families kept their doors open so the kids and adults could roam and socialize. They took over the breakfast room, and made it hard to even make a piece of toast. People with no class, and only cared about their own vacation. The hotel should possibly have a designated floor for families traveling in packs and maybe a children's breakfast time. Any hotel that doesn't charge something for kids always gets overrun with them. Love kids, but the parents need to train them how to behave in public.

I liked how modern it felt. I liked the pool. The water was a nice temperature. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was tasty. The location was close enough to the market. The beds were comfortable. The TV was a good size.

They made an error with the total price but it all got resolved in my favor. The pool walls were a little dirty. The shower was not hot enough for a steamy shower but it was warm. The rooms were hot at night so we put the AC on but it was loud. So hard to sleep nice. Our view out the window was the garbage dump. lol.

Breakfast: We liked the presentation and variety. Plenty of staff to keep the buffet stocked and area, including tables, clean. Rooms and common areas of the hotel felt calm and quiet in spite of the business that comes with families, children and dogs as guests. All are made to feel welcome. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Adjusting the room temperature for a cool night was difficult. When we turned the thermostat down the air conditioner started blasting, which was too loud. We settled for the set 20.5 degrees in the room which turned out to be too warm for us.

Room was large and beds were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool. Everything was clean: room, breakfast area, pool area, hallways, etc. Loved the bathroom layout with the shower and toilet separate from the sink area.

Duvets on the beds were too heavy for the summer months, kitchen area and sofa bed were too small for a family room, especially for more than a 1 or 2 night's stay.

Hot Breakfasts each of the 4 mornings we were there were equally good, not always the same eggs but varied, an egg fritata one day, scrambled the next etc. Always the standard breads for toasting, two types of waffle batter, varied muffins and pastries as well as yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruits... well done to the staff who touches any of that area! Rooms were shiny, clean, well stocked with towels and quiet. Didn't hear the neighbours except when hallway doors closed nearby.

I love the rooms. Spacious, couch and three ladies works perfect in this suite. Staff at front desk friendly.

This time I didnt enjoy breakfast for my first time in my many stays at this motel. Although they are renovating this area. My problem was the food. Sausage pale and undercooked. Quiche and Fried eggs were cold. We were having breakfast at 7:15am and on a weekday. I find its prime time for food not to be so cold and undercooked. I do enjoy the variety offered for breakfast.
